27 (Last)

Yejoo sits while waiting for her mates as she takes a sip of lemon juice. Being a national athlete makes her schedule full everyday.

She takes her phone and deleted a number. It's her ex-boyfriend's number. She dates a lot of men and only lasted for a month. They don't understand her, that's what she thought.

"Yejoo~"

Yejoo looks up and see her two closest martial arts athletes, Jiheon and Sun. They take seats in front of Yejoo.

Jiheon puts a magazine on the table. They read the magazine together and Yejoo is not even bothered.

"Yah, he is so hot. Look." Jiheon points at the magazine to Sun. Sun looks at it and jaw-dropped. "Oh my Goodness.."

"Yejoo-yah, take a look." Sun pushes the magazine to Yejoo and Yejoo looks at it.

"I need to marry him." Jiheon jokes. They laugh.

Yejoo reads the title,

"THE YOUNGEST SUCCESSFUL BUSINESSMAN, SUNGHYUN KIM."

-

Youngdoo sighs,

"Why do I even agree to shop with you two?"

Haejoon and Arim who are busy eating icecream while laughing and feeding each other turn to Youngdoo.

"Sorry, hyung. We are both busy so this is the only time to have a date." Haejoon wipes Arim's mouth as they giggle.

Youngdoo always has this feeling to puke everytime he went out with these lovebirds. They already have one child but still act like high school students.

Youngdoo finally gives up and goes to another store. He walks around the store and just looking at the things.

That's when he meets someone familiar. That person is choosing breads with different flavours.

Youngdoo freezes at his spot. That person turns to him.

"Do you want bread too?" She turns back and searching breads that she wants.

"But, there is no chocolate flavour. Aish, I really like chocolate." She hisses. Youngdoo approaches her.

"Lee Mijin.." He calls.

Mijin stands straight slowly and faces Youngdoo. Her eyeballs shake.

"Ah! You are Louoon oppa's friend, Youngdoo sunbae right?" Mijin grins.

Youngdoo doesn't say anything. He forces a smile, "You remember me?"

"Of course. Is it 13 years ago? We met at your school festival."

Youngdoo looks at the ground. He understands it now. He looks to Mijin, "Yes."

-

(At Doha's house)

The atmosphere is too loud and messy. The music course are meeting again. Not as students anymore, but as adults.

Half of them have their own idol groups.

Sungho is a composer and lyricist.

Hyunuk, Seonghwan, Inpyo, Inho, Yonghyun and Woojin are trainers at WRE entertainment.

Yeontae and Louoon are sharing a business.

Yongkwon became a model.

Seolmin is a manager at a well-known bank.

Junhee and Inho opened a book store and cafes.

Doha is the CEO of WRE Entertainment with Youngdoo as the vice CEO and Eunsun is a housewife.

"Seems like HaeRim and DoEun will have a new friend." Eunsun teases Seolmin. Seolmin blushes as she touches her stomach.

Youngdoo spaces out. Doha and Yeontae comes and surprise him. Youngdoo gets shock but not beat them up like usual.

"What happened?" Doha asks.

"I met her."

Doha and Yeontae can't hide their expressions.

"She remembers me." Youngdoo smiles.

-

Yejoo fixes her dress for the last time. She looks at her watch and knows that she is late for 45 minutes already. Hyuwi and Mingzhou will probably choke her.

Yejoo goes to the window to close it. But, she stands there and looks at the starry night sky. She can feels the cold night breeze. She closes her eyes.

Few seconds pass, she opens back her eyes.

A tall figure is standing at the neighbour's window.

Yejoo looks at the figure without any expressions. Then, she closes her window and leans on it.

"I'm seeing weird things again."

Yejoo goes downstair and tells her parents before going out from the house. She goes to her car but the same figure is leaning on her car's door.

Yejoo calmly goes to her car.

"Are you real? You are not my imagination again right?"

"Lee Yejoo." He speaks.

"Lee Yejoo." He takes a step.

"Lee Yejoo." Again.

"I miss you."

-

Youngdoo wakes up and looks at her alarm clock.

"Urgh." He stretches and can feels a slight dizzy. He drank a lot yesterday night.

Youngdoo walks out from his room and shocks to see Louoon sitting on his sofa.

"What are you doing here?"

"Good afternoon, hyung."

Youngdoo sits beside Louoon. Louoon clears his throat.

"Hyung."

"Erm?"

"She will leave to LA about two hours from now. I know you two met yesterday right? I'm sure you aware of her condition. She regained her memory back but just until she was 14.

Go to her, hyung."

-

Youngdoo pants as he bends and touches his knees. He looks at the airport board.

"Youngdoo sunbae."

Youngdoo turns to behind. There stands Mijin, smiling widely to him.

Without hesitating, Youngdoo hugs her tightly.

"Sun.. sunbae?" Mijin flustered.

"Just stay like this please... for few minutes." Youngdoo tightens the hug.

Then, Youngdoo loose the hug. Mijin freezes.

"Goodbye,

Mijin-ah."

-

Youngdoo drives to his home. Things wander in his mind.

After 10 years, he finally can see her again.

He is relieved that he can say a proper goodbye to Mijin this time.

Although it was another farewell and he doesn't know when will they meet again.

"I will wait for you, Mijin."

His tears fall.

"I will wait."

-

"Can you please recommend a good book to me?"

Inho takes the book with a white cover for his customer.

"This is a great book for me. This book tells you about how rainbow represents  our life. Like the part where rainbow starts represents our childhood. We can't see it because people tends to forget the past.

The middle part represents our life now. Sometimes it looks clear and colourful. That is when we are happy and grateful with our life. Sometimes it looks blurry and dull. That is when we go through obstacles.

The part where the rainbow ends is our future. We don't know where or how it looks. No matter how we want to go to it with shortcut, we just can't. We have to face the middle part first.

Now, we don't have to care about where the rainbow ends. But, let's just focus on how it will ends."

"You are really great in explaining this book. Do you perhaps write this?"

"No. My girlfriend wrote this book."
