Chapter 13

It was merely a week since the incident, and Ms. Burns was supposedly sick, much to the anticipation of Kyle.

He had just commenced therapy the next day of his outburst-the next day of the incident, and he wasn't feeling any better. He deeply wished that someone woule believe him, but this was a wish too good to be true.

Dressing up for another day at school, Kyle dreaded his new day, missing his three best friends and missing his old life. Nothing would be the same anymore.

He visited Jake everyday since the incident happened, and everyday, Kyle was let down. His friend refused to acknowledge him or his parents, and worst of all, he refused to acknowledge himself. He stared at the window all day, a blind stare covering his features. He became like a living corpse, but only worse. Kyle's heart poured out to his friend as he daily vowed to him to get revenge. But his eyes only met blue eyes, deep as the ocean, but as much ignorant as anyone may be. Kyle even tried to befriend Jake once again, but in vain- he even refused to be friends with Kyle.

Sighing at the ghost of thoughts swarming in his mind, Kyle parked his car and headed towards the school, only to meet stares and whispers of every student passing by.

Poor guy.

He used to own the place

His friends died and one went to an asylum, I bet he would be there one day too.

They tortured poor Ms. Burns.

The taunts and stares being too much for him, Kyle darted out of the school doors, letting his tears fall mercilessly to the ground. He could not bear the words that were being spread, the cruel rumors by idiots that did not even have a hint of what was actually going on.

After sitting on the ground, pouring all tears, Kyle's determination grew a notch as he consoled himself.

No Kyle! Don't give up now. You have to be strong for your friends. You have to avenge their death and the torture they went through. No more therapy. Shit on everyone!

Bearing these thoughts in mind, Kyle headed towards his car and revved up thr engine as he sped outside of the school compound. He was not a wimp. He was not a loser. He could not give up.

The images of his friends appearing before him, the loaded gun in the trunk of his car, Kyle drifted towards the evil witch's house, emotions forcing him to eliminate her once and for all.....
