"Steve, stop it!" You rolled your eyes playfully as he threw another popcorn at you.

"Make me," Steve smirked and aimed right for your head. You pushed him over on the couch and sat on his stomach. He groaned in response.

"Made you," you retorted and plucked the popcorn from his fingers.

Steve smiled up at you before pushing you off his stomach. You landed on the floor with a thump. You pushed yourself back up on the couch next to your best friend.

He wrapped an arm around you and pulled you closer to him. You smiled and nuzzled into the side of his body.

You found yourself slowly falling asleep in Steve's arms. But, you couldn't because you were too cold.

"Steve...Steve," you poked at him but he didn't seem to wake up.

You got up from the couch and walked into Steve's room. You wandered around, trying to find a blanket or something to keep you warm.

You rummaged underneath his bed and felt nothing but a piece of crumpled paper. You pulled it out and opened it up.

Dear Y/N,

Wow, I can't believe I'm writing this but I had no idea how to tell you.

Golly, I'm probably going to crumple this up and throw it away.

What I want to say is... I know we're best friends but I feel like we should be more than that. Best friends who can hug and hold hands and kiss... Yeah, I'd like that a lot.

You blushed furiously and folded the paper. You put it in your pocket before grabbing a blanket off of his bed and going back downstairs.

"Hey, where'd you go?" Steve asked sleepily. You held up a blanket and snuggled back up next to him. He placed a soft kiss on your forehead and rested his head on top of yours.

"Steve?" You asked.

"Hm?" He replied with his eyes drifting close.

"Do you like me?" You asked in a voice that was barely audible.

"W-what do you mean?" He shifted uncomfortable in his spot.

"Just so you know, I like you too." You giggled.

Steve was wide awake by now,"Really?"

"Yes, really."

Steve grinned widely and placed a kiss on your lips.
