welcome to Lunaira!

It all started when Abigail's family moved into Lunaira. A newly discovered continent with its own brand new traditions and beliefs, and creatures never even heard of, she was told that this is where the family is from. Here? It seemed so... unmodernized.

The us. it was only the border, as they had to cross the Atlantic a bit to get here, being from the United states. eventually made it to aunt's house where they're greeted by her orange munchkin cat, Tab, who had a beautiful coat that almost glowed like the sun, but was interrupted by the white areas on her paws, face and tail. She was purr-fect, Abigail loved hanging with her when auntie visited them, still do.

''You came!'' aunt grinned, hugging the young girl and her mother, feeling tab rub against her leg ''i'm so glad you're safe!''

The trip was long but it felt shorter, four hours was split into two ''come inside, i have the chocolate ready!'' she looked directly at Abigail, hot cocoa is her favorite! She walked in, letting the snow that had fallen onto her hair drip away

''Anyways, Abigail- How are you liking it here in your family's home country?"

''Its... different...'' she spoke slowly, looking around at all the posters and paper in the house.

What was all of this?

Abigail must have spoken that one, because she responded; ''Did you forget your uncle is a detective? He's obsessed with these age old cases''

she frowned, picking up a missing poster, it had a grayed out photo of a young child, probably around my age it seemed, ''few bodies, no suspects. He could never grasp it completely'' she handed me the paper, it read 'sam vincent carter'  Abigail's heard of this case, as someone who watches actual documentaries of crime. ''These are old'' she gave the paper back. Auntie just looked at Abigail, smiling, then it faded.

After hours of talking, it was bedtime. Or at least it was close.

''Okay. I think its time we head out'' mom said ''see you later mom!'' they began walking out the door

"Where are we staying?"

"There's the hotel down the Street. we booked a room. Despite how eerie it felt- your father insisted"

''So that's where they- I mean. I didn't see or feel anything.''

"room 127?" The person at the counter asked.

 father responded professionally "yes"

The person gave him the key and they went straight there

"Now. I want you to get some rest" mom said to her after she was done dressing for bed.

"Yeah yeah!" I had a slight tone of annoyance but mom didn't seem to care this time

Time passes. ''I can't sleep.''

"Can't sleep?? What a bummer" said a soft childlike voice....in the room

"And now im paralyzed" abby grumbled, trying to sit up

"Funny!" The voice laughed "i'm not even a sleep paralysis demon! I'm justa kid!!"

"Shouldn't you be asleep- better yet why are you in my room? And who and where are you"

The voice giggled "this is my room! Names sam!" The voice appeared as it sounded as they crawled on the bed "im a phantom"

Abigail nearly screamed, but she remembered that the others in the hotel were probably sleep at this time of the night. ''This cant be real''

She felt something touch her head. At this point the kid was fully visible, they had a fair skin color, messy tan hair and blue eyes that seemed to be staring her down, a bandage on his eye. an orange striped sweater was covered in what appeared as oil along with blood stains everywhere. And he yet maintained a calming smile. And when he spoke, it sounded as the voice of britain

''I see no reason to fear. Of all of the inhabitants, im last aggressive''

'What is that supposed to mean?''

His response was a gasp "you haven't met the others- my- friends?''

''There's more-?''

''Yes- and no'' he snuck in another pat ''wayyyy more! But you should get to know the main crew!'' there was a pause ''first thing tomorrow morning?''

''I have school tomorrow.''

''Riggght! Yaknow. I often forget about school and lose track of time. Not much of a life in the afterlife- got it?'' abigail stood in silence ''anyways- im sure you will love palm springs- oh yeah this is your new home by the way!''

''mom said this was temorray''

''oh.....!''  there was a long pause... ''well, Niht. remember, tomorrow. 8 on the dock''

but Abigail was sleep already.
