Nivi enters the waiting room and then she rushes to the bathroom, Anupam Prerna all rushed to take care of her. When she came out Nivi started to cry, she held onto Pree and Pree started to cry too….

At that point somebody knocked on the door...Anupam opened the door there stood a girl of about Pranjal’s age…  

Anupam: Hi, kisko dhund rahe ho aap bachche! 

Gauri : Main…. main Pranjal ko dekhne aayi thi…. par doctors mujhe milne nahi de rahe…. kya aap unse keh denge ki main…. (her eyes dark and stressed with some unknown burden, Anurag noticed it immediately)

Anurag: Kya naam hai aapka?

Gauri: Gauri… Gauri Jha main Pranjal ke school mein padhti hu…. Pranjal mere senior hai…. 2 years my senior. I wanted to speak to people from that NGO ...HOPE FOR TRAPPED ... but if you will permit I want to see Pranjal too. 

Anurag: (he came near her and kept a hand on her head and Gauri’s deep dark eyes turned watery) Kya hua Gauri? Are you alright? I am like your elder brother sweety… if there is something you can tell me..

Gauri looked scared and then looked at all the other faces in the room. Then she held out a Rakhi that she brought out from behind her back and her silent tears spilled from her eyes. 

Anurag held her hand holding the Rakhi. Not understanding what she meant… Prerna came forward looked at her for the longest time with her own tears in her eyes. 

Prerna: ( She opened her arms and Gauri walked into her arms breaking into sobs) Shh shhh sshhh….. Look at me… ( she held chin up to look into her eyes) I am Prerna Basu… this is Anurag Basu my husband and this is Nivedita Sengupta and Anupam Sengupta my Didi and Jamai Babu. We all four of us promise you sweety nothing will happen to Pranjal. He calls me Di you know and you should know that no Bastard can get away after harming my brother. 

Let me tell you in detail what I am going to do the person who has done this to our Brother. But first I want you to come and tie this Rakhi on his wrist. And today with this Rakhi I promise that I will give you my word that I will protect him with my last breath. Do you believe me Dear?

Gauri: (looked at all the four people who stood there with such conviction that even at 15 years of age she understood that this was an invincible team, and they got results when they said something.) Ye ...yes I believe you Di. And I have come not just to Tie the Rakhi to Pranjal,  but to stand by him too. But may I tie this to hand first. 

Anupam: ( came forward) Of course, and I will take you to him and your Prerna Di will come with you too. Let me tell you betu this Prerna is as fierce as one can get. If she said she will get to the person then believe me he should start counting his days, because Prerna  jab uski band bajayegi na tab woh bheekh mangega ki use mout hi aajaye toh behtar hai. Yeh humara MOGAMBO hai. (and as intended Gauri smiled)

Later…..

After seeing the burns Pranjal has suffered in the lynching attack, the attack happened in the jail cell but it was intercepted very soon, Gauri had lots and lot of questions. And Prerna chose to tell her the  rough plan she had in her mind, which changed Gauri’s perception too. 

Gauri : Di main aap charo se kuchh baat karna chahti hu… 

Nivi : Bolo na beta hum sab sun rahe hai….

Gauri: ( walked upto all 4 of them and then held Anurag’s hand) aap ne mujhse kaha ke aap mere bhaiya ki tarah hai haina… Pranjal bhi mere bhai hai. Ek din mujhe chemistry lab mein kisi ne pichhe se  kuchh smell kara ke behosh kar diya aur phir school audi ke pichhe leke gaye. Mujhe un sab ki shakal bhi dhang se nahi dikh raha tha….

(Anurag immediately held her trembling hands in his own. All of them could see how scared  she got just trying to repeat the incident) They gave me some sort of drugs, I don’t know what? (she looked up at all of them trying to see if they will judge her for this but then she continued courageously)  They opened a few of my buttons and i couldn’t st...sto..stop them ( Gauri gulped before she could continue) But the Pranjal came fought them all and dropped me back home himself, explaining to my parents that I had just fainted in the school so our nurse at the sick bay had just given me alprax… to make me sleepy.  He… he saved me Bhai… I want you to use me to save him now. In fact, I have a plan. You might find it silly…. (she looked a bit embarrassed)

Anurag: No plan is silly Gauri. I am personally very interested to hear your plan. 

And Gauri explained what she had on her mind and all the four in the room found it perfect to trap the miscreant, and were happy to include a 15 year old in their plan. Gauri was a little astonished for the way all the 4 adults were giving her equal footing and respect in spite of her age. Gauri understood why these people were such enigmas in the Business world as well as in the world of Social Work. They were people who were so sure footed and action oriented that it was as if she was watching four whirlwinds working in sync….. 

After sometime Anurag came to her and said “Welcome to the club sweety…. To the HOPE FOR TRAPPED
