The pair grew close again during their college years, and she sat as close as she could to the stage during his graduation four years later. She didn't get to stay long after, the drive back home was long, but she promised that they would talk soon.

When his internship ended, he returned to their hometown and she called him the next day, asking to meet in their park. He agreed without hesitation.
