Tell Them About How We Hated Each Other



The next time they saw each other was their kindergarten classroom. They were sat next to each other at first until there was gum in her hair and glue in his bag. Then it was spitballs and wads of paper flying across the classroom. Even recess which should have been mutual ground consisted of him breaking her chalk and her throwing his ball over the fence.


There were numerous timeouts, trips to the principal's office, and calls home. Classes were switched, but the fighting persisted. The teachers were at a loss for what to do.
