AUTHOR NOTE: finally getting around to editing this book! I won't be changing much of the story. The plot will stay the same. Maybe change a few lines here and there. But please enjoy!

an OC of mine will be added into the story. Her name is Ekko. Her spirit animal is a wolf husky.

The 4 of them ran through the oasis hopefully getting a good head start to get away from the small army of conquers. Eko risked it and took a quick glance back only to see a figure fighting to walk, she stopped knowing who that figure was, it was Tarik! holding a bleeding arm, he must have been lucky with that cut on his arm it seems to have bled out most of the venom from Gerathon

"Guys" Eko yelled behind her. Irtike, Rollan and Connor did not turn around

"GUYS!!!!" Eko screams this time

"Eko we need to go, come on" Connor yells behind himself.

"Well we. are. forgetting someone then!" Eko yelled grabbing onto Rollan's arm which made him turn as she pointed this made the other 2 turn around as well. Irtike's mouth drops and Conor and Rollan dash to Tarik! they didn't care if conquers were right behind their mentor Greencloack.

"I told you" Eko said running with them, when they reached Tarik the elder Greencloack falls to his knees hugging the 3 of them. As they hugged onto him in return, attempting to support his weight as it seemed the elder greencloak was still weak and fairly sick looking. Lumeo looked to be safe as a tattoo on his neck.

"You are....all safe...oh thank Tellun you are all safe." Tarik said as he hugged the 3 of them Irtike ran up to them

"Good to see you not dead" Irtike said walking up to Tarik to examine his wound a little "it doesn't look to bad, you hold strong, your bleeding but it bled out most of not all of Gerathon venom it seems.

"Yes, but we must hurry" Tarik said looking behind him at the small crowd of conquers "let's retreat while we still can did you 2 get the Golden Lion?" Tarik asked looking at the boys Connor reached into his bag and pulled out the Golden lion. "Safe and sound" he said tucking it back into has pack

"Good" Tarik said in a relieved tone. Rollan and Connor backed up but Ekko stayed put and held Tarik up by his arm over her shoulder. Even though she was a child compared to him. 

"Now let's get out of here I HATE hot weather" Eko said in a little whine as they all broke into a sprint through the oasis

'Tarik is alive' Rollan thought in his head 'and by the looks of it Lumeo is fine too' Rollan looked back to see the Otter tattoo 'Tarik is alive everything is going to be fine because Tarik is alive' Rollan thought letting a smile creep on his face
