Unfortunately, I had to ditch the party to figure out what made me tingle. So I found myself swinging through the long pathway of Chenle's mansion in my Spidey suit, that led me to their colossal mansion gates and eventually landed on top of one of the columns where I was met by somebody very unexpected. It was Venom. He stood a couple of paces away from the closed gates, whilst inspecting the dimmed road of the mountains in front of him with suspicion.

I tilted my head. "Ayo, V." I shouted with a bit of volume.

This was very unexpected. Out of all the places in Queens, he appeared in front of Chenle Zhong's mansion gates.

Venom turned around to connect eyes with me, and he seemed as shocked as I was. "Spiderman?"

"Yeah, it's me." I waved my hand innocently. "What the hell are you doing here?"

There was a pause from Venom. He slowly looked around the place, as though trying to search for an answer to my question. "Just guarding... What are you doing here?"

"At the party." I replied and pointed at the mansion behind us. "Obviously as me me, not as Spiderman. I just got the tingle suddenly, so I had to ditch and check up what's happening here. So what's happening here? We good?"

Venom looked at his surroundings once again, it was another act of uncertainty. "I don't know... I feel like there's something off about this place, like something is about to happen. Something bad." Venom explained. He was mumbling which made it nearly incomprehensible for me. Though I was glad we were having the same feeling. The same feeling of danger.

"Why don't we wander around and investigate before something happens to my friend's partyโ€”"

Tingle โ€” There it was again. I felt it again, only this time it was a lot more intense which suggested that I was close to this hazard, or more likely, this hazard was surging towards me.

Just as I felt the tingle crawling down my spine, I noticed something leaping in the air towards me. It was like a cluster of strings in the shade of snow, and it was glowing, almost so similar to a lightning. I knew that was bad news, so I had to swiftly jump off the column and land on the ground, with one of my hand pressed against the floor to balance myself.

I was just about to chase after whoever tried aiming at me with that thing, but was immediately stopped when I noticed that Venom had been caught in one. The glowing white strings swathed around his arms as it locked onto the pavement, as though chaining him. He was grunting, not out of pain though, but out of struggle. Venom was the strongest person I've ever seen, so seeing him not being able to free himself was terrifying.

"Holy shit." I exclaimed in panic before rushing over to him. "What the fuck is this? Does it hurt? Can you move?"

Venom growled and when he stopped resisting, he fell on his knees with a hefty heave. "Obviously not Spiderman." He grumbled, clearly annoyed by the situation.

"How on earth did you dodge that, you little insect?" Someone said in the shadows of the dimmed roads. Soon, a strange man stepped into the light with a companion whilst carrying an unfamiliar weapon in their hands.

I instantly stood up in their presence. "Uhh it's called a Spider-tingle." I explained and eyed their weapons. "What the hell are those?"

The man laughed with an evil tone. "You like them?" He inquired and lifted the weapon to inspect it. It was the size of a megafon, its material was strong steel and had a glowing core. "This is called The Trapper." He explained. He then aimed for the column, the one I was at previously and pressed something. The string cluster that latched on the column suddenly flew backwards and retreated back to the gun he was carrying.

"What do you want?" I asked, my hands clenching into fists.

"We're here for something precious." His companion explained and took a step forward.

Venom grunted and looked up at me, there was no trace of patience heard in his deep, husky voice. "You gonna do something about this?"

I nodded. "Yeah yeah, don't worry I got this." I assured with a calm demeanor. I started to do small hops on my spot and stretched my arms out, as if preparing for a jog. "You know stranger 1, and stranger 2, you guys are idiots for showing up with no backup. Imbeciles."

The stranger aimed for me with the Trapper Gun, I managed to dodge it once again as it merely hit the gates and soon I was up in the air.

"Webs incoming!" I announced from above and flicked my wrist towards the men. Fortunately for them, they didn't have any spidey tingles nor spidey reflexes so they got caught into my trap immediately. In sync, they shrieked as the webs latched onto them and trapped them on the black van they pulled up in earlier. They were like flies trapped in spiderwebs.

I landed on the ground, just right in front of them with a small huff. "I'm taking that." I said and snatched their Trapper Guns from their grip. When I got ahold of the weapons, I inspected them carefully with intrigue. "What are these?" I asked and looked up at the two gibbering men, who tried squirming their way out of the trap.

"Get us out of here, insect!" The man growled angrily, showing that he had no interest in cooperating.

"Booooooring~" I groaned disappointedly. "Phew phew." I flicked my wrists again as webs attached to their mouths to silence them.

I then spun around my stance to head over to Venom, whom was still trapped in the glowing strings. As I stood before him, I figured out how to release him already by mere observations from earlier. I held the gun in front of him and pressed the trigger, and swiftly, the white glowing strings clustered together and retreated back into the hole of the gun.

Venom moaned as he collapsed even more on the ground, his arms pressed against the pavement.

"What is this thing?" I questioned. I kneeled down to Venom and handed him the weapon for him to have an inspection too.

Venom didn't have to look at it a second time, he already knew. "The prohibited weapons that had been snuck in the United States. I'm positive." Venom said in his serious voice before standing up on his feet. He looked at the two criminals who had been muffling panicked and angry words through the webs against their mouths. "They're multiplying everywhere, and so are the people getting killed because of these high-tech weapons."

I stood up next to him and glanced at the criminals too. "Shall we interrogate them? I mean, these are the first people we and soon NYPD has captured, alive, to have possessions of these weapons right?"

Venom nodded his head. "We must take them to the police. We're mostly responsible for action, and they do the talking."

I nodded my head in agreement, but bashfully looked up at Venom. "Okay, but can I request to get them to the police station instead of calling them out here? I don't really want my friends to get in trouble because of underage drinking."

Venom chuckled. "Of course."

I took another look of the weapon with squinted eyes.

"That's dangerous." Venom uttered. "Very dangerous." He gulped. "Hell, I couldn't even budge when that thing resisted me. This means we have to be extra careful because if caught by these, that'll be the end." Venom looked at me and placed a hand on my shoulder. "I trust you with those spidey reflexes, so I guess you wouldn't have to worry. I guess it's just me."

I smiled in a prodding manner. "Just you, old fart."

I could feel Venom rolling his eyes behind that mask. "I'm only 2 years older than you, idiot."
