There were still numerous of people living their best lives with the company of their friends and heavy music in Chenle's residence. The mansion was still alive, and it probably will be until the sun seeps into the darkness.

Chenle however, invited a few people in his colossal bedroom, and when I meant colossal, I really meant colossal. It almost looked like an entire house, probably even bigger than mine and Johnny's apartment. He had everything here. He had a basketball hoop, a football table, a piano, a library which he claimed he never looked through, a TV and a big couch. Everything in this room, or in his mansion in general really emphasized his wealth.

At the time being, people were lounging by the couch and the coffee table, just chatting and drinking the night away. Most people present were Chenle's friends: The friendly Flashes, Jisung and Jeno - That meant Jeno invited his Decathletes friend. The mere reason why we were even here, was because of me. I think Chenle took a liking for me after the entire basketball incident a couple of days ago.

I sat next to Juliane, whom had been consuming way too much alcohol, so I've been keeping an eye on her. Then on the other side of her, were Donghyuck and Naomi.

Ever since Juliane and I caught Donghyuck and Naomi enjoying themselves in the kitchenette, we couldn't stop teasing them. Donghyuck was happy about it, but Naomi was still too shy. But I surmised this meant that they were official.

Juliane reached over to the cup of alcohol that laid on the coffee table, and leaned against the backrest before taking a big sip. She then looked at me and cocked an eyebrow. "You're really not drinking tonight?"

Caught staring, I swiftly looked away. "Uhh- I, umm." I faltered. Now that we were conversing, I had to eventually look back and so I did. "Nopes, not drinking today."

Juliane snickered with an eye roll, before slurring. "Oh now you don't wanna drink, when there's no school tomorrow?"

Juliane looked very pretty, despite having a drunken face. Her eyes were moderately red and teary, making them appear so shiny and gleamy to look at. And of course, her pink cheeks completed the beauty of her face. She was pretty. Really.

I smiled. "Of course not, I gotta make sure to keep an eye on you, Donghyuck and Naomi." I shrugged my shoulders. "At least one has to be sober right?"

Juliane merely sighed before returning her focus on drinking herself to death. She reasoned it was to celebrate Donghyuck and Naomi, and I recalled Chenle getting offended because she wasn't celebrating for the basketball's team victory. It was quite funny. Anyways, people were indeed enjoying themselves in Chenle's room, despite how calm and tranquil it seemed like compared to what was happening outside. Here was a lot better, especially because Chenle's loquacious personality made things more entertaining.

"Everyone please do watch our game next week! We're gonna crush Somerset!" Chenle cheered and stood on his white cushioned couch, with his filthy outside shoes. "Victory for The Flashes!" He pumped his hand in the air, the cup of alcohol he carried spilled everywhere on us, but of course people didn't seem to be bothered because they were all drunk or tipsy.

Jeno slumped on his seat. "Can't assure you that Chenle. I might get busy with studying for the nationals."

Of course this disappointed his friend. "Aw, come on Jeno. You don't have to study, you're the smartest person I know." Chenle pouted.

"I'm sorry Chenle, but the nationals is just as important for us, as the basketball match for you." Gwen explained for the other Decathletes, a genuine sulk on her face. "Perhaps we can arrange our study sessions to match with your schedule. But I wouldn't be able to assure you though."

Appreciative, Chenle landed his hand on his chest, a relieved sigh escaping his lips. "Oh my god, thank you so much. You know what, I will gladly attend your nationals too, for support." He cocked an eyebrow, an evil smirk forming his lips. "In fact, if you want I can rig the system with money and make you guys win. You guys haven't won a single time, right?"

Kiernan scoffed, obviously offended by this. "So what? You're saying we're not smart enough to stand a chance to get victory?"

"Well..." Gwen pursed her lips. "That would be unjust."

Jack nodded his head, agreeing. "That's true. It wouldn't feel like true victory."

"Either way," Naomi paused, her throat clearing. "You can't join the nationals, even if it meant just supporting and watching. We'll be going to Washington DC, that's like a long way from here. Plus, you're not part of the Academic Decathlon team nor the SoMe."

Donghyuck tilted his head to the side, confused. "Ehh? Wait the SoMe club is going with to the nationals? How come?"

"Duh, for social media promotions. The Academic Decathlon team is probably the best thing Midtown High has, so we're invited there, well a couple of us from the SoMe club." Naomi explained. She turned to Donghyuck and smiled, before fist bumping his chest. "I'll make sure we're in it."

I couldn't help but smile at the sight of my best friend, and his the girl of his dreams. How adorable.

Chenle shrugged. "I mean I can buy my own bus ticket. Hell, maybe even a plane ticket." He turned to his best friend, Jisung, with an exhilarated smile. "You wanna come?"

Naomi could only roll her eyes at the rich boy's persistent.

"We have a lot of studies to worry about, Chenle." Said Jisung. "I don't think that'll be possible."

While Abraham was switching through the channels of Chenle's 85 inch TV, he came across a channel about recent news from yesterday, specifically the incident in Midtown High. This caught everyone's attention.

"Breaking News! NYPD are still on the process of investigating deeper about this horrific case that occurred in Midtown High School. The only thing we're certain of is that Goliath are part of the prohibited weapons, used in the carnage cases in other regions of Queens. Let's hope the NYPD, with the help of Venom and Spiderman, will be able to stop this reoccurring incidents before it gets worse."

There was silence that hung in the air.

Then, Cindy spoke. "Crazy how everyone's just here partying, as if it never happened."

One of The Flashers, whom was named Eliot, if remembered correctly, spoke. "Nobody died that day, all thanks to Spiderman and Venom."

"Bummer." Chenle said. He huffed. "I didn't get to see either of them in action."

Gwen rose her hand up. "I saw him. I saw Spiderman." She smiled to herself. "In fact, he saved me... He saved me."

I blushed. I then recalled the moment Gwen and I, though as Spiderman, looked each in the eyes after I pulled her out of the cramped hallway with my web before she could be trampled to death by the students.

"Damn." Chenle slouched on his seat, his lips drooping into a frown. "I can't believe I have never once, not even once, interacted with Spiderman or Venom. Damn it." He hissed.

I saw Donghyuck taking a secret glance at me, so I returned one too. He was smirking. Obviously because he knew that Spiderman was currently lounging in Zhong Chenle's room. I couldn't resist a small laugh. How funny.

Everybody proceeded chit-chatting about Venom and Spiderman.

Then, I noticed how silent Juliane was. I looked at her and discovered that she was napping. She had her eyes closed, her head relaxing on the backrest as she kept her grasp firm onto the cup she had emptied already.

I chuckled lowly, though I was still a bit worried. This just showed that she drank too much.

I looked over at Chenle. "Hey, you mind if she dozes off at your bed for a minute? Her position isn't too comfortable."

Chenle nodded. "Yeah sure." He smiled and pointed at a door behind us, just a few paces away. "Bed's in there."

Surprised, I nodded my head. So this wasn't even his actual bedroom.

I shook it off and gingerly shook on Juliane's arm to awaken her, but she didn't. "Hey, Juliane let's get you somewhere comfier." I whispered and gave her another shake, but she didn't budge and merely groaned before turning away to cling to Naomi's arm. "Fine then." I mumbled with a heave.

If she wasn't about to move, I'm gonna have to do it myself.

Cautious, I swathed my arm around her back, and the other on the back of her knees. Without any tinge of struggle, I effortlessly hauled her up from the couch. Juliane's head rolled all the way back, her hair cascading down my arm as it accentuated her flushed face. I made my approach towards the door Chenle pointed at previously.

I could sense a small smirk from Donghyuck as I trailed off, as well as Naomi. I did notice Gwen surreptitiously glancing at me too, but I didn't spare it another thought.

I used my foot to push open the door, and enter the dimmed bedroom, the darkness welcoming I and Juliane in. It was too dark to even see something, I could only see the shadows of the furnitures. Despite all that, the king sized bed displayed in the middle of the room was clear to see, because of its white sheets, and so I followed it.

I carefully placed Juliane down the bed, her head against the pillows and her body against the mattress. Juliane groaned lowly and let herself be engulfed by the softness of the bed, her arms stretching out to get the nearest object to cuddle, which was a basketball pillow. She nuzzled her pink nose into it and slurred words I couldn't even grasp.

I smiled. "You're not so mean, as I presumed you were." I mumbled.

"Mark..." Juliane's words were still slurry, suggesting that she was to some extent conscious, but not really.

I chuckled. "You wanna know something?" I whispered, feeling a bit teasy at the moment. "I am Spiderman."

I knew she was theorizing that I was Spiderman ever since I saved her at the streets. I knew it drove her mind crazy. So I couldn't help it. I found this entertaining. I knew she wouldn't remember any of this. She was drunk, she was barely even awake.

Then I felt a tingle.

My eyes squinted in curiosity, as I swiveled to glance at the window. I could sense it. I could sense danger. It was nearby. Very near.

Well, good thing I always wore the spandex underneath my civilian clothes.
