"The Curse of the Cross Eyed Moose?" Amy read the title confused.

Tails raised a brow. "Since when is a moose a curse?"

"Since never." Knuckles grumbled. The thought of a moose being a curse sounded ridiculous.

Spade sighed. "Let's just get this over with already."

The scene starts off with Sticks the Badger at a pond, collecting water with her bucket. 

"Already we're starting off with the paranoid badger."

Hearing grunting noises, the female badger turned around to see a moose with its eyes crossed, staring at her.

"MOOSE!" Sticks screamed as she ran off in fright, leaving a confused moose.

Tails blinked. "Uhhhh, it's just a moose..."

"A cross eyed moos to be exact." Espio corrected.

Charmy scratched his head. "How is a moose that dangerous?"

The scene changes to Amy's house as Sonic, Amy, Tails, and Knuckles did a hold-your-breath contest.

"Ready?" Sonic asked. "This time for the record." Everyone held their breath and waited.

"...Are you guys being for real right now??" Scourge questioned deadpan.

Fiona furrowed her eyebrows. "If this is your idea of playing a game... then it's a waste of time."

After a few seconds, Sticks broke into the house, screaming. "MOOSE!" 

Startled, Tails and Knuckles lost. Knuckles glared at Sticks. "Sticks! I was this close to winning a pointless game that has no significance! Thanks for nothing!"

"See Knuckles?? Even your dumbass double thinks it's a pointless game."

"Scourge... you being here is pointless."

"Hey I was forced to be here, same as you!"

"I saw... a moose!" Sticks said.

Everyone stared at her. Sonic and Amy kept playing the game.

"Even her friends think she's paranoid." Anti-Tails mumbled.

"A CROSS EYED MOOSE!" Sticks screamed.

"So?" Tails asked flatly.

Sticks growled. "Crossing paths with a cross eyed moose brings a curse upon the moose crosser and a non moose cross friends! Don't you people know anything about science?!"

Torque blinked. "Sticks... you don't know anything about science."

"And curses aren't real." Neera retorted.

"Um, Sticks, curses aren't real." Tails added. 

"Then how come you just lost the breath holding contest?" The badger asked.

"Because you'd interrupted them unannounced." Sonia points out. 

"Seriously, how is that a curse?" Manic asked.

Knuckles gasped. "The curse! It all makes sense now!" He whimpered, clinging his head. 

Knuckles just shook his head and rolled his eyes.

"You can doubt me," Sticks said. "But I'll protect you anyway."

Sonic snorted. "Her! Protect us?! That's like saying we need Eggman to help us save the world or something!"

Tails and Eggman glanced at him.

The blue hedgehog blinked, realizing what he just said. 

"You know what... forget what I just said."

"Because I'm a good friend! And it distracts me from the government agents who are replacing my plants with violins!" Sticks glanced around, looking back and forth, and yelled, "That's right! I'm on to you, buddy!"

And just like that, the paranoid female badger walked out the door and slammed it, causing Amy's vase to fall and break. That caused Amy to lose the contest but she was more worried about her vase. "Ah! My vase!" She cried.

"I win!" Sonic said happily, letting out his breath.

Amy rolled her eyes. "Like always." 

Knuckles looked thoughtful. "Hmmm. Maybe the curse broke the vase?"

"Yeah." Sonic smirked. "The curse of the lunatic badger!"

The blue blur grinned. "You're speaking facts other me!"

"Uh oh!" Knuckles gasped. "Now there are two curses!"

The red echidna facepalmed. "And you're speaking idioticy."

The next day, Amy smiled as she walked to her door, her bag in hand. When she tried to open the door though, she couldn't open it. "What the... ?" When she finally budged it with all her might, she looked surprised and annoyed to see huge animal traps outside her door. 

"She's taking this way to far over a stupid moose."

"Why are you surprised, Amy? You should've expected this."

"You know what, Knuckles... You're right, I should've expected as much."

Amy turned on her communicator and called Tails. "Hey, Tails, is your house..."

"Surrounded by Sticks's crazy traps?" Tails answered as he's shown stuck in a pit with bars on top. "Yeah. Sonic, what's up with you?"

"Just hanging around." Sonic said flatly, eating his sandwich. Turned out that Sticks's trap had set him off his feet for once.

Sonic blinked. "Egghead couldn't even capture me. Yet, a crazy badger with paranoid issues did??" This was just not his day.

Ray hummed. "Maybe there is a curse?"

"I would rather kiss Shadow on the lips than to ever side with a paranoid badger."

"Faker, if you even think about kissing me with your chilli-dog breath, I will break your jaw and snap your legs in half."

"No, I haven't noticed anything." Knuckles said. He looked down and realized that he was in one of Sticks's crazy animal traps. Knuckles scratched his head. "Actually, now that you've mentioned it..." He's standing in a bear.

Lilac flinched in shock. "Oh my god!"

"Is he ok?!" Maria asked worried.

"He's fine." Knuckles said nonchalantly.

"Aren't you at least worried??" Carol asked, concerned. "He could've died."

"I wish he was dead." Eggman mumbled.

Having enough of dealing with Sticks's crazy traps, Sonic, and everyone else went to talk to Sticks about her paranoid state. Amy knocks first. As she does this a net falls onto them.

"This is getting old." Amy sighed, not even surprised at this point.

"Definitely." The pinkette said in agreement. This was getting old indeed.

Sonic nodded. "Yeah. And I didn't even get a sandwich this time!"

Hearing Sticks's call, the gang turned around to see Sticks swing on a rope, She jumped off in front of them and released them from the net. "Okay, I know what you're thinking." She said. "BUT EVIL SPIRITS DIDN'T SET THOSE TRAPS! I DID! To protect you!"

"From... dangerous door knocking?" Tails asked in annoyance, putting his hands on his hips.

Sticks shook her head. "No!" She snapped. "For the after mentioned evil spirits! Weren't you paying attention? They already bad news, baby! They'll eat your souls, chew them up and spit them out!"

Sonia groaned. "I think I just lost my appetite."

"This curse is scary and disgusting." Knuckles cringed.

"Is there maybe a less intrusive way to keep us all safe from this curse?" Amy asked the badger.

Amy widened her eyes in shock. "Why is she asking er that?!" She gasped. "Don't tell me that she's actually believing that curse nonsense!"

Knuckles pinched the bridge of his nose. "At this point... we should've seen this one coming."

Sonic waved them off. "C'mon guys. They don't need to have any way to keep them safe because curses aren't real."

"Not unless a black cat crosses your path." Tails stated.

"Except for that."

"Why don't they just use good luck charms?" Silver asked.

"Because it doesn't work that way, Silver." Blaze stated.

Sticks got into story mode. "Well, legend has it that if we find the monkey with a white stripe on its back, and a tail shaped like a W!"

"Shaped like a W?" Tails repeated confused.

"Shaped like a W?" The yellow kit repeated, confused.

Sticks continued. "Do you mind? Now where was I... Only that monkey could move the curse!" She smiled at them. "So what's it going to be? Traps or monkey?"

"Monkey." Amy said, raising her hand.

Everyone stared at her.

"What?" 

The scene changes to Seaside Island where Knuckles kicks and breaks a log and carries it. "Is this really the easiest path?" Sonic asked. "Safer then... I don't know?" He pointed to a safe path, with sunny skies and a fruit stall, along with arrows to show you the way.

Amy nodded. "Yes! Go that way!"

"Hello?!" Sticks snapped. "The curse will get us if we're out in the open! This path is hidden from bad luck! And volcanoes! And cursquitoes!"

"Cursquitoes??" Mighty repeated with a raised brow.

"She's talking about mosquitoes that can curse." Espio explained.

"Sounds ridiculous." Fiona said flatly.

"It is ridiculous." Knuckles grumbled. "And a waste of time."

"And reason, and logic, snack machines..." Tails said, pointing them out with his fingers.

"I'm all for playing it safe, but..." Knuckles began, but looked down to realize that he was sinking feet first in quicksand. He looked at his friends. "A little help?"

The red echidna just sighed.

The group continues their journey as they approach a river. Sonic points to a small wooden bridge to cross. Sticks shakes her head, pointing instead to a log. 

The audience knew what was gonna happen.

As the group attempts to cross it, the log begins to roll, going towards the cliff. Sonic and the others tried to regain their balance but failed as they all fell off the cliff into the water below. Next, the group then approaches two paths; one dark and canopied, to the left, and a sunlit one to the right. Sticks sprints inside to the left. Sonic shakes his head and gestures to the group to go to the right as they run, following him.

"Yeah, like we're gonna follow that freaky badger." Knuckles retorted.

As the group exited their path, they came upon Sticks. The badger glares at them and shakes her head in annoyance. Turning to leave, she fails to notice a few large black spiders crawling across her back and scalp. The group was shocked as Tails covered his mouth.

Lilac widened her eyes. "Geez, can't she feel those things on her back."

"That badger is beyond help." Carol said shaking her head. "I'm surprised she hasn't been bitten by one of them."

Soon, and the others finally made it out of the forest. Sticks smiled proudly to herself. They had finally reached the cabin of the curse removing monkey!

"We made it!" She said with a smile. She looked at her friends. "Good thing we took the safe path!" Her friends walked past her, covered head to toe in dirt.

Tails cringed. "You might think it's safe, but they don't!"

Amy frowned. "They look awful."

"No crap." Knuckles retorted. "They just went through a forest with a paranoid badger."

"Yeah." Knuckles grumbled in annoyance as he hopped up in a fish. He glared at Sticks. "Good thing!"

'The sooner this show is over, the better.' Shadow thought.

Sticks knocks on the door of the shack. An eye appears from the peephole and frowns. As the door opens, a marmoset exits.

"Excuse me!" Sticks said with a smile. "We uh..."

"Let me guess." The monkey said, raising his hands in annoyance as he already knew why she was here. "You saw a Cross Eyed Moose, and now you think there's a curse?"

"Yes!" Sticks said with a smile. "I..."

"Well, there is!" The monkey snapped. "On ME! My curse is nincompoops like you see that thing and bother me! But I am out of the curse breaking business!" And with that he abruptly goes back inside his shack and slams the door shut.

Tails blinked. "...So much for breaking the curse."

"At least it's finally over." Sonic said.

"That went well." Sonic said. "Now it's time to go home."

"And get cleaned up." Amy grumbled. "You guys need a shower."

"After what they've been through, they need a looooonnng shower after that." Lilac added.

Sticks, being the paranoid coop, started pounding the door with all of her might, wild fear in the badger's eyes. "NO!" She screamed. "I'LL BE CURSED FOREVER!"

Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy sighed in annoyance.

Most of the audience did as well.

"HELP ME! PLEASE! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!"

The monkey opened up the door, looking seriously annoyed. "Are you going to keep pounding on my door until I help you?"

"Pretty much." Sticks said, flatly.

"Yeah, she's not gonna leave unless you help her and friends by breaking the curse." Cory deadpan.

"Just get it over with already." Eggman grumbled. "I had enough of this already."

"We all do." Gong mumbled.

"Ugh. Why did I become a curse breaker?" The monkey grumbled in annoyance. 

"Why did he become a curse breaker in the first place??"

"Who cares, Tails? I just want this to end."

"I should've been a demonologist like my brother." The monkey sighed, then looked at Sticks. "All right, all right, all right! I'll break one more curse!"

"Thank you!" Sticks said in excitement, clasping her hands. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!"

"Don't make me regret my decision!" The monkey snapped.

"Sorry!" Sticks said. "Sorry, sorry, sorry!"

Noticing the monkey glaring in annoyance at her, Sticks apologized softly one last time.

"Now then!" The monkey said with a smile. "If you want me to lift the curse, you and your friends must prove yourselves worthy!"

"This should be interesting." Jet mumbled.

"How?" Sonic asked.

"You will be given a series of tasks that will prove your hearts are pure!" The monkey smiled. "If you succeed, I will free you from the Curse of the Cross-Eyed Moose!" He said, crossing his eyes and wiggling his fingers spookily. He looked at Team Sonic. "But I warn you. Many have tried and many have failed!"

"We'll do it!" Sonic said, zooming over. "One hundred percent Sonic guarantee!"

"Here's a list!" The monkey said, handing Sonic a piece of paper. "Toodles!"

"Uh, before you go," Knuckles called, hopping up to the monkey, still in the fish. "Could you mind taking a look at this rash?" He whimpered pointing at the three red dots below his neck. "I think I', allergic to fish saliva."

"THEN GET OUT OF THE FISH!" The monkey yelled in pure annoyance.

"Please." Knuckles retorted.

The scene changes to the group picking up avocados, placing them into baskets.

Amy frowned suspiciously. How does picking up avocados help you get rid of a curse??

"Picking avocados proves our hearts are pure?" Sonic asked in confusion, popping out of the bushes.

"What do we have to pick to prove that avocados are pure?" Knuckles asked, holding an avocado. He gasped. "Oh, man! I just blew my own mind!"

"KABOOM!" Ray smirked, imitating an explosion.

Mighty stared at him.

"What?" 

"If this is what he wants in order to break the curse, then we should do it, no questions asked!" Amy said with a smile. The scene changes to the group at a lemon tree. The pink hedgehog was confused "Now we have to squeeze lemons?" 

"Technically, you're asking a question." Tails pointed out.

"Technically, ZIP IT!" Amy snapped.

Cosmo frowned. "That was ride of you, Amy."

"Oh c'mon! I would never act like that towards Tails!"

"Search the forest fort the ripest tomatoes...?" Sonic asked. Sticks grabbed his arm and pointed to a bush with ripe tomatoes.

Tails read the last item and was confused. "Then crush to a paste with the mightiest rocks on the mountain...?"

"Wait a second..." Espio scratched his chin in thought. "Avocados? Lemons? Paste?"

Sonic widened his eyes in realization. He growled. "Are you telling me... ?!"

"Wait a minute!" The blue speedster growled in realization.

"You had us make guacamole!" Sonic growled, handing a bowl of guacamole to the monkey as they returned.

"...They've wasted their time for nothing?!" 

"Calm down, Sonic. It's almost over." Tails assured.

"I hope so! Because I'm about to lose it!"

Knuckles scoffed. "You and me both."

"And it took you long enough!" The monkey said, dipping a chip into the paste and popping it in his mouth.

"I hope this proves us worthy." Sticks said. "Curse form otherwise."

Wave shook her head. "Baking ingredients is not worthy."

"Eh, not quite." The monkey said. "You must also..." He zoomed off and came back holding a basket of clothes. "Cleanse these garments in the purest river in the..."

Sonic shook his head. "Other me, don't do it!"

"Fine." Sonic grumbled. "We'll do your laundry, too!"

"Are you serious right now?!"

"This show absolutely makes no sense." Spade groaned.

The group are shown scrubbing clothes on washboards in a riverbank, soapsuds floating downstream. Sticks appears to be the only one enthusiastic.

Tails sighed in annoyance. "I'm starting to think that marmoset is the curse!" 

"I agree." Amy grumbled.

The scene changes to Eggman - the human doctor wasn't surprised at this point - knocking on the Monkey's door.

"Those things better smell fresh!" The monkey yelled from inside his shack. "You know marmosets are filthy animals." He opens the door and to his surprise it's not the group, it's Eggman.

"I'm here about the Curse of the Cross Eyed Moose." Eggman announced.

"I'M OUT OF THE CURSE BUISNESS!" The monkey yelled in pure annoyance. He was about to close the door when Eggman stopped him. 

"Well, I don't believe in curses. But my encountances suggested that I diversify my evil business. So, I'm getting a curse removal! And you're coming to work for me!" He laughed evilly

"Since when do you believe in a curse, Eggy??"

"Since the day I wanted to destroy you, rodent."

"Eeh, no thanks." The monkey said.

"Wow, he's not even at least intimidated by him."

"Of course not, Tails. He spent most of his life in the woods away from people."

"Really?" Eggman asked, annoyed. "My awful laugh usually convinces people."

"No for me, Egghead."

"No one asked you, you spiky hair porcupine."

The monkey slammed the door in Eggman's face.

"Oh, ho!" Eggman growled. "I see! You want to negotiate! A little back and forth! Give and take, eh? Okay, I'll go first!" He turned to his robots. "Minions: ATTACK!"

At the order, Eggman's robots, Bee Bots, Moto Bugs and Crab Bots approach and surround Monkey Boy's house.

"Eggman?" Sonic asked in surprise. "I never thought I'd say this, but boy am I glad to see you!" 

"Me too, rodent."

Sonic zoomed off, dropping the box of laundry. "Aww, I just fluffed those!" Knuckles complained.

One by one, Knuckles, Sticks, Amy, and Sonic smashes Eggman's robots, Sonic begins spin dashing badniks at random and Knuckles punches a Moto Bug, destroying it. "Now that's for the laundry!" He snapped.

Tails rides a Moto Bug like a motorcycle and scoops Amy onto its front as a Bee Bot falls to the ground. Sonic continues spin dashing a couple of robots as Sticks lassos a Bee Bot, flying it around before crashing it into a Moto Bug, tumbling away and landing in the clothes.

The monkey snarled in annoyance. "Hey! You left my clothes on the ground!" He complained. "Whatever happened to personal responsibility? Ugh!"

Amy's mouth dropped open. Didn't he just notice that they've literally just saved his life?!

"You're coming with me, monkey boy!" Eggman growled.

"That's Mr. Monkey Boy to you!" Monkey Boy snapped. "And anyone else, actually." He gulped when he saw Eggman's robots roll closer to him, but thankfully Sticks swings on a vine and grabs him to safety.

"Are you okay?" Sticks asked.

"Ah, just peachy!" The monkey said. "I love having my home destroyed by a madman! What are you, nuts?!"

"Look, if you're not happy with our help, I'm sure there plenty of other curse removing marmosets who would love to have us around!" Sonic said, walking over.

"Yeah! After everything they've done for you!"

"Ames, chill."

"I'm the only one!" Mr. Monkey Boy said. "But I get your point. Look, I'll do anything you want if you just get rid of him!"

That was all he needed to say as the team continued to battle against Eggman's remaining badniks, defeating them all.

"As my great aunt used to say, no retreat, no surrender!" Eggman vowed.

"Eggman, you have a-"

"Of course not!"

However, the doctor changed his mind instantly when his robots exploded right in front of him. "RETREAT! SURRENDER!" He frantically yelled, running off.

Sonic smirked triumphantly. "Catch you later, Eggface!" 

Tails shook his head. "I still think you need a better catchphrase, Sonic."

"Look at the mess you made!" Monkey Boy growled in annoyance, pointing to the broken robots around him.

Sonic groaned in annoyance. "What happened to, "I'll do anything?!" He snapped, about to strangle the monkey, but luckily Tails and Amy restrained back.

"Honestly, I would want to strangle that monkey too." Knuckles admitted.

"Well, you ruined my laundry, but you did save my life! Now I will break the Curse of the Cross Eyed Moose."

"YES!" Sticks cheered, walking up to the monkey.

"Now, raise your right hand..." The monkey smiled. He realized something. "Oh, wait, that's weddings. Um. Just stand there and try not to look too stupid." Monkey-Boy begins swaying his arms, as if casting a spell. "Uh, blabbidy blah blah blah dongity do wabba wabba bam! Hey! The curse is gone, there you go!"

Everyone just stared in disbelief.

"That's it?!" Sticks gasped in excitement. "It's all over?"

"What, were you expecting a parade? The curse is broken! Go on! Get lost!" And with that, the monkey slams his dorm shut

"That's not how you-"

"Torque don't, just let it be."

"I'm free!" Sticks said happily as they walked home. "Free of the curse! Free to live life freely! In freedom!"

"And we're free of your superstitious nonsense." Tails said.

"Yes." Penny said with a nod

Suddenly, off-screen, Sticks yells anxiously, a lavender colored spider approaching on the ground. "A moth colleen seven legged spider!"

"Ah, crud..." Sonic groaned in annoyance and facepalmed.

"Please no." Knuckles groaned. "I just want this to be over."

"It's eleven years bad luck! We must go to Lake Yenny Haha, and..."

Before she could finish, Knuckles stopped her. "Boom!" The echidna said flatly as he flicked the spider away. "Curse broken!"

Sticks looks on dumbfounded as the rest of the group laugh.

"Thank you other me." Knuckles mumbled in satisfaction.

Eggman slumped in his seat. "Finally it's over."

Manic shook his head. "That badger and her paranoid ideas."

Sonia nodded. "And it's all over a moose."

"A cross eyed moose." Tails corrected.

"Right..."

Lucy pressed the button to the next episode.
