Reader's POV

I walked over to him. He was staring at me and for a moment, I thought I saw a glimpse of the Shadow I loved so much. And he went back to growling. I went into the cage and locked it. "Shadow?" he launched at me and I dodged it, hanging onto the top of the cage. "Shadow? It's me." he lashed out at me and I jumped down.

"Please, you have to come back" I was caught up in talking to him that I missed the opportunity to dodge the moment when he scratched my cheek. I screamed in agony and put my hand on the now bleeding cut as Sonic and Amy shouting, "(Y/N)!! No!!" I screamed even more as I fell to knees and hands and started the change.

I grew even furrier, my fangs grew longer and visible and my fingers grew claws and my gloves ripped apart. My breathing became heavy as I started growling. I was finally half Savage. But could control myself. I growled at Shadow and he did the same. We continued attacking each other like wild animals.

But sooner or later, I'd have to do what I planned. After a few more attacks, he pushed me to the wall of the cage. He growled viciously and I growled back. I wasn't attempting to bite him though. I didn't care if we had fangs, I just jumped at him and crashed my lips onto his. I could feel him struggling, but then suddenly, he relaxed and kissed back.

Shadow's POV

It's took me a moment to collect my thoughts and I realized that (Y/N) was kissing me. I wrapped my arms around her waist and she wrapped her arms around my neck. After a few minutes, we finally pulled away. "Thanks, (Y/N)" "Anything for you, Shadow" she smiled and I realized that we both looked like wild animals, Savage. We walked out of the cage hand in hand towards Sonic, Amy and Eggman.

"Welcome back Shadow" "Thanks you guys" I then kissed (Y/N), but Eggman interrupted us, "Ugh, we get it, he's back. And you didn't have to kiss him to get him back" this ticked us off so we growled wildly at him. "AAH!! Okay! Sorry" and we smirked. Then Sonic said, "Hey, sis, I got your phone" she turned to me and said, "Wanna take a selfie guys?" "Sure" we all said.

We got into the picture and she took the selfie, and it looked amazing. The two normal hedgehogs with the two half Savage hedgehogs. Then Eggman said, "Okay, do you two idiots wanna stay stupid looking Savage animals?" and we growled even more viciously at him. "AAH!!! Okay, okay! Sheesh, you don't need to growl. The serum may take a few days to turn you back to normal." we smirked as we said, "Fine by us"

He injected the serum into our necks and said, "There, now get out of here, all of you" so we walked home and watched a movie. I turned to (Y/N) and said, "(Y/N), I'm so sorry" "Sorry? Sorry for what?" "For scratching you and made you half Savage" I said pointing to her scratch.

"Yeah, but you don't have to say sorry. You were Savage, you couldn't control yourself. And I didn't care if I became a wild animal. I did it for you, because I love you" and she buried her head in my chest. I lifted her chin up and said, "Thanks, (Y/N). I love you too." and I passionately kissed her. She did everything she could to get me back, which proves how much she loves me and I love her just as much as she does.
