I'm just posting for both my stories. So hiiiiiii :P

Kai POV:

I woke with a start as the airship landed, last night Drew and Doc asked me all sorts of questions about my research, it was soooo uncomfortable having them act like parents asking how my day was at school. I tried to get Zak to help but he just laughed, afterward I didn't get any research done and just crashed. One thing to say PARENTS ARE EXHAUSTING! How do people put up with them? Like sure I miss mine but I loved them and they weren't so focused on ME. They always had work and I had other things to do so we would be together but then we would give each other respective space. Anyway, I got out of my warm bed Shade looking at me from her spot on my pillows and Rex from his... oh so special bed. Going outside to see Zak and Fisk bothering a cryptid I think a Whitorecay? As it made its natural cry and walked away.

"Ah nature's beautifoluos sounds, let's add this to our party mix." Zak said as he started playing techno mixed with different cryptid sounds, as he started jamming on the claw, using it as a drum, etc. I laughed at his silly behavior, looking at him as our eyes met and he smirked and winked at me. Wait winked? Nerd.

"Hi there." Drew said as Zak fell over, catching the claw with ease.

"Zak what is this?" She asked looking down at him with disappointed eyes.

"The claw?" He asked as he looked at her with puppy dog eyes.

"No this is the claw of Suol Kali, an amplifier to your powers, artifact weapon any of these would have been correct. A baton, air guitar, drum stick, and samurai sword are all things that it is not." She said sternly as I giggled at him getting scolded.

"Now please take care of your things and all of you come back to the airship." Drew said as Fisk got away with being a snitch and Zak stood there glaring at him, then me for laughing.

"Why would you laugh?" He asked a bit exasperated, as he looked at me.

"I giggled not laughed there's a difference." I said before sprinting back to the airship him complaining as he was falling behind me. As we got into the air ship we followed the voices to the command center.

"Ah Zak growing like a weed I see, and Kai a surprise to see you but you look lovely." Dr. Cheechoo said from the monitor. Doctor Cheechoo was probably the nicest and most... physically appealing of the Secret Scientists... needless to say I blushed like a tomato when he complimented me.

"Hey Doctor. Cheechoo!" Zak said enthusiastically waving to the doctor whilst I gave him a curt nod.

"Doctor Cheechoo, tell Drew what you told me." Doc said after we came into the room. After the information was relayed Cheechoo was attacked and we were on our way to the Arctic Circle. As Doc and Drew were piloting the ship Zak and I were left to be bored with another hour to go till we got there. Luckily I had a plan.

"Zak!" I said in a hushed tone to get his attention. He looked at me confused as I motioned for him to follow me to the hall he got up reluctantly and followed.

"Yes?" He asked once we were in the hall.

"I need your help..." I said looking at the very interesting ground "I'm doing an experiment but it requires two people to work the molecular scanner and I don't trust your dad to pay attention to the machine and not the results."

"Alright let's go then." He said as we walked to my lab/room, once we got there I heard him gasp as he saw the products of experiment's complete and failed lying around the room. There where piranha in a tank that grew to about double their normal size because of a growth serum I added to their food. Several floating objects, some things being researched on the different machines, I guess what caught his attention was in the enhancement chamber.

"Cool what is that?" He asked walking over to it. A football sized ball of moving liquid was suspended in the chamber. Colors swirling around in a hypnotic way as he tried to reach his hand to touch it, only to be met by cold glass.

"That is going to be a sword, it's still in the beginning stages but the machine is slowly to break down the swords left by my mother, or an exact copy of them and fuse them combined with a cryptid artifact it should be able to control whatever it is that my power is." I said as I gingerly touched the glass of the machine watching a blob swirling and moving around.

"Anyway let's get this over with." I said as I went to the molecular machines pushing a sequence of buttons as Zak came over.

"Alright what do I have to do?" He asked as I place a block of wood in the machines glass compartment.

"Well I was going to have us see if the molecular structure could withstand several million particles of heat but now I kinda wanna blow it up." I said as I shrugged as he smiled at me.

"Let's do it." He said as he grabbed the controls as I opened several windows around the room before grabbing my own controls.

It took us several blocks of wood before one successfully exploded and that was when Drew came in telling us we landed.

"You two having fun?" She asked a smile on her lips as she watched us shut down the machine both nodding in response.

"Well alright then come down to the main deck and put on a thermal jacket." She told us as Zak ran out of the room while I grabbed my black one out of my closet, putting it on along with some snow boots. Before walking out to the main deck and going into the blizzard with the rest, as Rex and Shade stay in the air ship with Komodo and Zon.

"Alright we're going to get Paul you two stay out of trouble, and Kai I don't trust them so can you watch them?" Drew asked as I nodded before they left. After they were out of sight snowballs got thrown at both me and Fisk hitting us both in the faces.

"Zak!" I yelled as I threw one at him hitting him in the back of the head whilst Fisk got the front. We kept laughing and throwing snow at each other before we stopped to catch our breath.

"Hey guys where is the air ship?" I asked as I looked into the white snow trying to see the ship. Fisk and Zak both looked around as well but then I was assaulted by another snowball as Zak laughed at my expense.

"Oh no it's frozen shut! The snow must have messed with it!" Zak said as he started shaking the dysfunctioning claw. It popped open knocking it out of his hand and hitting me off the edge.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!" I yelled as I fell over trying to grab the damn thing before I died, but before I could grab it my foot was grabbed and I was pulled up with the efforts of Zak and Fisk.

"Hey are you alright?" Zak asked as I stood there my body trembling. I was still in shock as I lunged at Zak and clung to him.

"Hey what's goi--?!" He was cut off when I let go, looking at his face I saw he had a slight blush, before I turned around to hide my crimson red face.

"Thank you for saving my life." I said as I looked down into the cavern.

"We should try to get that back if you don't wanna get killed by your parents." I said as I started climbing down into the darkness. After we all got into the caves we started out deeper in the caves everything looked the same and the green light Zak had didn't help.

"Guys I still don't see the claw where is it?!" He was getting very frustrated, which was very annoying. While he was turned to us I saw a disgusting creature the Amerok, behind him about to attack.

"Zak get down!" I yelled as I jumped over him kicking the creature in the snout, before it grabbed me and threw me into the others.

"Run!" Zak yelled as he grabbed my hand and we ran into a cave, watching as the thing ran into a cave on the opposite side of the cavern.

"Let's keep going I want to get out of here." I said as I started to walk down the cave we were in, hearing footsteps behind me.

"Zak do you feel the energy in this cave?" I asked as I slowed down to talk with him.

"Yeah I've felt it since we got in but I need to find the claw. Hey I think we've been here before cuz those icicles look different from thos—" He said before we came across a room with relics on several mounds of snow.

"Zak the power- it grew stronger, I think we might be under a—"

"Piercement dome." We said together as Fisk covered our mouths and hid.

"What are you doing?!" I asked in a hushed tone as we were directed to look at the opening across the room as two men Van Rooke and his apprentice came into the room talking about looting the place, as he lifted his arm to fire around the room.

"Do not touch anything." Zak said as he came out of hiding.

"Wrong move kid I suggest you don't make another." Rooke said as he lifted his laser and shot the burial mounds.

"You idiot you just tipped the balance the whole island is going to be ripped apart before you can even get off!" I yelled as the Ameroks rose out of the mounds and the storm got louder and more dangerous outside.

"Put the relics back right now." Zak said as we started to back up, after being cornered by 20 Ameroks.

"Sorry kids but I'm going to make a profit from these relics, but if you want to stay and play with the animals be my guest." He said as he and his apprentice flew up and blocked the exit.

"Alright I guess I am going to have to get my hands dirty. Fisk can you bust us out?" I asked as I cracked my knuckles going into a fighting stance.

"Wait you aren't going to fight them are you!?" Zak asked in disbelief as the Amerok's came closer.

"Watch and learn Zak, this is what three years alone does to you." I said as I winked at him seeing a blush spread across his face before I started attacking the creatures flipping them and kicking them back but not causing a whole lot of damage to them, just enough to stun them. I heard boulders being brought down then someone grab me and pull me through the hole, crashing into Van Rooke and the Saturdays fighting.

"Zak! Fisk!" Drew said as she came and hugged the boys, I brought a small smile to my normally calm face as I watched her embrace her sons like mother used to do to me. When she released them she looked at me and smiled hugging me, and utterly shocking me as well.

"Oh thank god nothing happened to you three I wouldn't ever live it down in you three died." She said as she smiled at me too I guess it was meant for me... really. I noticed that the creatures were walking through the hole Fisk made and Doc was still fighting Van rook and his apprentice let's call him Doyle he seems like one. Once they noticed the Ameroks both sides charged and we all started fighting.

"Mom, Van rook took artifacts from the burial mounds and their making the storm worse!" Zak tried to say but it was drowned out by the fighting. He looked at Fisk then me before running to Van rook and stealing his jet pack and the bag full of artifacts before putting them on and flying to Fisk and I. Grabbing our hands we somehow ended up on Fisks back me in front and Zak holding my waist as we flew through the air.

"Look out!" I heard Zak say as I was too distracted by the boy's hands that were on my waist. We crashed into an icicle the Ameroks not too far behind. Fisk was out cold and Zak and I were putting artifacts back as we became surrounded. Suddenly Zaks eyes glowed orange and mine silver as we felt mystic energy take over us giving us a surge of power.

"Cool, wait your glowing to?!" Zak asked but before he got an answer we started to control the cryptids and putting them back into the mounds as they sunk back in. Once they were all gone we both fell to our knees panting.

"You have cryptid powers too?" Zak asked looking to me his chest rising and falling in ragged motions.

"Yeah, sorry I didn't really know." I said before getting up hearing a low growl from behind me. I turned seeing the first Amerok about to swipe at me but I was pushed out of the way by Zak then he was pushed by the apprentice or as I call him Doyle.

"I saw that little trick of yours can you do it again?" He asked as he attacked the Amerok, we both looked to each other and nodded willing the power to come to us as we walked back creature in tow.

"Grab that stone and place it on the mound to seal it in." I said as we finally got the thing in, before sealing it shut.

"Thanks little man, and... young girl." He said before walking off.

"Aww man the claw I didn't find it! Mom and dad are gonna flip!" Zak said grabbing his head before Doyle came back and handed him the claw.

"Found it on the way in it's a fair trade for saving my life and all." He said before grabbing the other jetpack and flying off.

Doc and Drew came in with a conscious Fisk before we headed out.

"Oh hey mom, dad, Kai has cryptid powers like me!" Zak said before I got stared at wide eyed Doc and Drew.

"How is that possible?" Drew asked before I shrugged and walked onto the ship to find Cheechoo asleep in his chair. This was going to be interesting. I thought as we woke him and started to talk.

~After Cheechoo left~

I sat in my room as we flew to who knows where. Thinking about what happened today. My face heat up. Today I was embarrassed when he grabbed onto me or when I showed weakness....  couldn't possibly be anything more than pride~. It's too early to tell. I sat there in my room as the ship rocked back and forth, lulling me to sleep. The edges of my vision started to go black, getting up I tried to get to my bed as the door opened.

"Hey Kai, I was wondering what you were doing. It's borin – Hey you alright?" Zak asked as he came to my side, I felt myself start to fall before my vision went black.

"Kai?! KAI!?" I heard Zak yelling before I completely lost consciousness.

~The dream~

I woke up in a glade; strange trees were everywhere glowing,the moonlight illuminated everything in its pale glow. I got up and started running before I heard a beautiful voice

"Wait child, look into the darkness when you feel lost. That is where your power and the boy's power lies. Deep within yourselves, you each hold the power of a guardian." The voice said as I followed it into the center of the glade. Standing here was a beautiful woman with long silver hair and silver eyes. She wore a light blue kimono with koi on the edges; she was tall and thin, beautiful but dangerous.

"A guardian? What do you mean?" I asked her as the image started blurring.

"Be careful, a dangerous foe will arrive in the evening of tomorrow. You're sword shall be complete while he attacks. Do not let your journey end here." And with that the vision faded into darkness.
