I had to use this song as the chapter's title based on the vlive where
JinSon was together inside the van and Jackson sang this one.

And they are each other's home.

πŸ“–πŸ“–πŸ“–

To others, they seemed to move too fast. And of course, their concerns were all understandable. Jinyoung couldn't stop thinking of what Jackson had said months ago. I wanna grow old with you, Jinyoung Park. And he knew he was falling so deep and fast because he wanted the same as Jackson. Heck, he'd been thinking about his future with Jackson in it for a while now. He just needed Jackson by his side. Until the very end. For others, they're just crazy in love but for him, they're madly, deeply in love.

But Jinyoung also fully understood where Mark was coming from, so he let Mark say what he had to say.

"Jinyoungie. You know I am really happy that Jackson makes you happy and you two made this long distance thing work... but getting married after dating for less than a year? I mean you two only spent time together for three months in the span of almost a year. Jinyoungie, have you thought about this carefully? I know you two are so crazy in love with each other but... marriage? Jinyoungie... dating is different from marriage." Mark said while pacing in the living room. He glanced at his boyfriend, Jaebeom for help.

"Yeah, Jinyoung. Have you thought about this? I mean, did you two at least discuss the future?" Jaebeom said just to please his boyfriend.

"Argh, Jaebeom-ah, you just repeated what I said...some help, you are." Mark glared at Jaebeom.

"Don't take your frustrations on me now, babe...remember, you're upset with your best friend, not at me, your boyfriend." Jaebeom got up from the couch and said, "Jinyoung-ah is a grown man, he needs a best friend not a mom. Anyway, good night. I'm going to bed." He wrapped his arms around Mark's waist and gave him a peck on the lips.

"Ok, stop....I don't want you two to fight because of me....but Jaebeom was right. I need my best friend. I need him to support me. To cheer for me. If I want someone to worry about my decisions, I will call my parents. Mark, you know how much I love Jackson. Yes, we made this long distance thing work and I want to be with him. Physically with him. Phone sex or video sex don't cut it anymore. My hand is getting tired, you know. I think I have a carpal tunnel by now." Jinyoung laughed.

"It's not funny, Jinyoung. I do understand what you're telling me. I should be happy for you. I should be cheering... but I can't help worrying about you -" Jinyoung cut Mark mid-sentence.

"Worried about what, Mark? I'm flying to Beijing to surprise Jackson. Then find the right time to propose....and why are you so worried about marriage now...I haven't asked yet and besides, you know he needs to say yes first."

"Exactly! He needs to say yes. What if he said no? What then? You will be devastated. All I'm saying is....take your time. Go see him in Beijing. Spend time with him. Fuck him everyday while you're there...I don't care. Just... don't propose...not yet." Mark seriously pleaded.

"Why? Give me one good reason why I can't propose to Jackson now? And please don't you dare say that we haven't known each other for that long bullshit when you and Jaebeom moved in together after dating for only 5 months. Tell me, Mark." Jinyoung demanded.

"Just because....because....because moving in together is different from marriage. Moving in is getting to know the person more before marriage. Marriage is final. You can't overturn it nor change your mind once everything is not what you signed up for." Mark said calmly.

Jinyoung narrowed his eyes, staring at Mark. He was trying to see if Mark was hiding something from him. If he knew something that he didn't know. He stopped questioning Mark because deep inside, he didn't want to know more than what he needed. He knew that Jackson wanted to grow old with him and that was enough for him to go through with his planned proposal.

⏩⏩⏩

It has been weeks since Jinyoung and Mark had the talk. He let go of it and didn't mention anything about his planned marriage proposal to Mark or Yugyeom. He focused his attention on work that he needed to finish before flying to Beijing for a month-long vacation. He focused on the thought of seeing Jackson, in person, after months away from him. He focused his thoughts on how he and Jackson would celebrate their first year anniversary. He told himself to focus on positive things.

His phone buzzed and saw that Bambam sent him a text message that reads come to the cafe after work. He didn't think anything unusual with the text so he replied ok. I will be there at 5:30.

When Jinyoung walked inside the cafΓ©, he never thought that he would get a surprise. His eyes grew big when he saw who Bambam was pointing at.

"Baby!!! What are you doing here?" Jinyoung gladly ran to hug his boyfriend.

"Hey babe...aren't you happy to see me?" Jackson said softly.

"Of course, I am. What kind of question is that?" Jinyoung hugged Jackson tightly.

"Babe, I can't breathe," Jackson said.

"I'm sorry. I missed you so much. I can't help it." Jinyoung replied as he pulled out of the hug and rubbed his thumb on Jackson's cheek.

"But we FaceTime every day...twice a day...how can you miss me that much?" Jackson softly chuckled.

"FaceTime is different from you being physically here because I can't do this during FaceTime." Jinyoung cupped his face to give him a kiss when Jackson dodged it and kissed Jinyoung's forehead instead. Jinyoung furrowed his forehead on what Jackson did.

"We're out in public, babe." Jackson whispered. Jinyoung was confused about that but didn't bother asking Jackson.Β  They both took a seat and Bambam put a cup of coffee for Jinyoung while he gave his brother a cup of green tea.'

Jackson must've seen Jinyoung's facial expression, "Green tea. I drink tea now and stopped drinking coffee."

"Since when....?" Jinyoung asked.

"Hmmm....three months ago." Jackson replied. He didn't want to dwell on the topic so he asked, "I heard you were flying to Beijing in two days? For work?"

"Yeah, to see you... why didn't you tell me that you're coming down here?" Jinyoung replied.

"Well, I have some business to attend to here. And besides, I didn't know you were planning to see me." Jackson explained.

"I didn't tell you coz I want to surprise you for our anniversary." Jinyoung mentioned.

"Hmmm....I made sure to arrange this meeting around this date so I can also surprise you for our anniversary." Jackson smiled.

Jinyoung decided to stay with Jackson throughout his stay and asked Jackson if he could fly back to Beijing with him.

"Wow, babe.... This is what you asked me after fucking my ass multiple times?" Jackson said laughing.

"Um, because I need to know so I can reschedule my plane ticket. So, is it ok for me to go to Beijing with you?" Jinyoung planted a kiss on his boyfriend's temple.

"You want to come with me to Beijing? Are you serious?" Jackson asked.

"Of course, I am serious. Why would I joke about that? You don't want me too?" Jinyoung worriedly asked.

"It's not that I don't want you to come with me...I just don't want you to feel obligated to." Jackson explained.

"I assure you...I want to. I want to meet your parents." Jinyoung assured Jackson.

Jackson grinned widely and hugged Jinyoung tightly. "They'll love you."

⏩⏩⏩

For a month that Jackson had been back in Cali, Jinyoung stayed with him which Bambam didn't really appreciate.

"Jack. I know you're in love but this gotta stop. Jinyoung -" Bambam stopped.

Jackson lifted his head from his phone to look at his younger brother, "What about Jinyoung?"

"Well, Jinyoung can't stay here anymore...I mean, it has been a month. Until when -" Bambam was interrupted.

"Why not? He can stay here until we leave for Beijing. You know I can't stay with him in his apartment." Jackson replied.

"But Jack... I can't sleep with you two being at it every single night. You two were just too loud. Thank goodness the condo is soundproof but not between the rooms inside here." BamBam whined.

"Wear your Beats. Trust me you won't hear anything. Besides, this condo is mine, Bam, so if my boyfriend wants to stay here, so be it." Jackson chuckled.

BamBam sighed in defeat, "Fine! But Jack... what if he starts to not -"

"Bam! Enough! I told you not to talk about that!" Jackson raised his voice to BamBam.

"I know but you know he is a writer so he is very observ -" BamBam looked seriously at his older brother then continued, "Ok. Ok. I won't say anything anymore. I see how he makes you very happy which makes me happy. But you have to be careful, ok?"

"Bam, he does make me very happy and alive that it makes me forget about it. I know you're just watching my back and I love you for that. I promise I will be careful." Jackson reassured Bambam.

Before BamBam opened his mouth, the doorbell rang. "Are you expecting someone?" He asked his older brother.

"Uh huh. It might be Youngjae. We need to talk about the company and its future." Jackson patted his shoulder as he passed by to open the door.

"Morning, Jack!" Youngjae greeted Jackson.

"Morning. Please come in." Jackson said as he moved aside for Youngjae to go in. "I'll just change into proper clothes."

"Hi Jae! Coffee?" BamBam asked when Youngjae came into the living room.

"Yes, please if you don't mind, Bam. You're not working today?" Youngjae asked.

"No. Jack wants me to sit with you two while you talk about the company. I have no idea why, do you?" Bambam answered a little loudly from the kitchen while he made the coffee.

"Nope. He just called me a week ago and set up this meeting today. How is he doing?" Youngjae asked in a hush voice as he entered the kitchen.

"He...he is stubborn as always but Jinyoung makes him forget his troubles so I can't really complain except at night." Bambam shook his head and chuckled. "Here you go, Jae." He said as he gave the cup to Youngjae.

"That's nice to know. I still remember the day he told me...he looked so devastated. And your parents...Anyway, I am glad his boyfriend makes him forget his problems." Youngjae replied smiling.

⏩⏩⏩

"So, that was my plan and what do you think, Bam?" Jackson questioned his little brother.

"J-Jack....um...I don't know if I-I can do what you do." Bambam replied.

"What? Are you kidding me? You're doing great in school. Look at this as your internship but getting paid at the same time. I will help you along the way, Bam." Jackson told him.

"Yeah, your brother won't give this to you if he doesn't think you can do this." Youngjae added.

"Fine. I will try ok? And Jack, I will do this because you ask me to but not as your replacement." Bambam told his older brother.

"Well, no offense, Bammie...but no one can replace your brother. When it comes to his work and his company, he gives 110%. If you give me 90-95% of effort and work, I will be happy." Youngjae added.

"Did you just diss me, Jae?" Bambam and Jackson laughed. The youngest one continued, "Ok, so when will the training start, boss?"
