"Ladies and gentlemen, the Victors of the 71st Hunger Games. Saylor Odair!" The Mayor introduced Saylor and she walked on stage.

"Thank you. I am honored to be here with you today. And to be with the families of your fallen Tributes. "
Saylor looked at her card and was about to read the next line but decided not to. Scout and Renee deserve more than just reading it from a card. She thinks then continues her speech.

"They fought with strength. and lived with honor... and dignity until the end, both Scout and Renee
were so young. But our lives aren't just measured in years. They're measured in the lives of people we touch around us. I know that without Scout, and Renne I wouldn't be standing here today.
I just wanted to say that-" Saylor pauses then looks to their parents.

Saylors's eyes started to water once she saw the pain in their eyes." I didn't know Renee I only spoke to her once. She could have killed me, but instead she showed me mercy. That's a debt I'll never be able to repay. " she takes a deep breath, then continues.
"I did know Scout He wasn't just my ally, He was my friend. He was too young, too gentle. And I couldn't save him. I'm sorry. " Saylor apologizes while looking at their parents. The mom starts sobbing even harder and the dad hugs and comforts her. The dad looks at Saylor with tears in his eyes and gives her a nod.
Someone in the crowd does Scouts whistle then we whole crowd joins them.

After she visited Scout and Renee's district. For the rest of the tour, Saylor read off the cards Cecilia made for her. They were all different except the end always had "The Tributes of this district were brave and noble warriors. They brought honor to their families and pride to their people.
We are all of us united, both victors and vanquished,
Panem today. Panem tomorrow. Panem forever."

Every night of the tour Saylor couldn't sleep. having to go to each District and essentially celebrate death didn't sit right with Saylor.
most nights, she would go sit in the living room and watch out the window.
she found the constant moving relaxing. it almost reminded her of the waves in the ocean.

The nights she would sit out in the living room the peacekeeper would be out there too. she didn't try to talk to him because she didn't want to get him in trouble. but every time she left, she would give him a wave or a smile, and he would give her a nod.

The tour was almost over. All she had left was the party at the capitol. Bailey got her dressed and styled. Then they made their way to the party.

(Her dress is different shades of blue and purple. Also, imagine it's more of a tool fabric )

Saylor followed behind Cecilia into the party with Finnick and Baylee by her side.
As she walked in, there was loud music, flashing lights, And lots of people. The more she walked in. The more people stared at her.
She put a fake smile on and kept walking.

Once they entered the party, Baylee linked her arm with Saylors. "If anyone makes you uncomfortable. Give me a look and I will come to save you with a makeup touch-up excuse." Baylee whispered to Saylor, "Thank you," Saylor whispered back.
"Of course, I got you. I'm going to go find some of my designer friends. But if you need anything let me know." Saylor nods, then Baylee walks off.

The whole night Cecilia dragged Saylor all over the party to meet different people. They all congratulated her for winning or told her how much they loved her tour.
Saylor was getting tired of it.
In her eyes, winning was just as bad as losing. Winning meant she got to be alive but in reality, her life was still taken away. Saylor hated how she was being put on a pedestal for winning the games.
I am a murderer. But they look past it because they were entertained. As long as the person puts on a show. They don't care who wins. She thinks.

Saylor was bored of meeting all the people Cecilia brought her to. So while Cecilia was talking. Saylor gave the people a polite smile and then walked towards a spot that had fewer people. Saylor stood off to the side. observing the party, then someone comes up beside her.
"So you're the new victor? I'm surprised... You don't look like much." A girl said to her then eyed her up and down. "I'm sorry? Who are you? " Saylor said trying to figure out this girl's problem.

"I'm Johanna, Johanna Mason. Last year's victor." The girl said introducing herself. "So... How's life being the new Capitol "It" girl?" Johanna asks. "Great. I feel very lucky to have the support of the Capitol." Saylor answers. Johanna scoffs
"ok, cut the Capitol Act. I know it's hell. Let me guess, President Snow cut you a deal and now you are too scared to do anything that might piss him off? But you know what I say? Screw him."

Saylor looked at Johanna a little surprised. I like her.
" Aren't you scared he's going to hurt your family? "
Saylor asked. "Nah, there already dead." Johanna bluntly says. "Oh... I'm sorry." Saylor says feeling bad for bringing it up. "It's fine, just another thing to add to the box of trauma... Anyways welcome to hell. Love your dress by the way. All my stylist puts me in is tree bark." Is this girl ok? Saylor thinks to herself.
"Thanks... my stylist is the only good thing that came out of this." She jokes.
"Well, at least you got that... I'm going to go find something to drink. Wanna come? " Johanna asks. Saylor shakes her head no. "No thanks, I think I have had enough mystery drinks for today."Saylor jokes. She didn't trust any of the drinks. Every time someone would hand her one she would fake take a sip or just throws it away.

After a while, Finnick sees his sister standing by herself. So he goes over to her and asks her to dance.
Saylor agrees so they both walk over to the dance floor. Saylor doesn't know how to dance so she just follows Finnick's lead. "Are you having fun?" Finnick asks her. "Tons, I love talking to all these people who I have already forgotten the names of." She sarcastically replies. Finnick laughs and then twirls her around.

The dance music is replaced with the president's introduction music. Everyone looks up to the house and sees President Snow then starts cheering.

"Tonight, on this, the last day of her tour, I want to welcome the Victor. The Capitols Princess. A young girl who embodies our ideals of strength and valor. You have inspired and entertained us. And I know you will inspire, and entertain, us every day for as long as you may live." The president says while looking straight at Saylor. The crowd cheers and the President waves before exiting.

"Can we leave yet?" Saylor asks Finnick. After the president's speech, Saylor wanted to leave immediately. "Every day for as long as you may live" His words were ringing in her head.
a taunt that I will have to do whatever he wants for the rest of my life.
"Yeah, let's get out of here. We need to find Baylee and Cecilia." They went searching for the two girls and eventually found them. once they did, they headed out and went back on the train.

Saylor was sitting on the couch, looking out the window, she was upset. How can anyone like President Snow? he's a cruel man who does not deserve his power.

Saylors's eyes start to water once reality starts to hit her. The reality of when she gets home her new "Job" will start. She will be forced to let people touch and use her, she felt sick just thinking about it. Saylor sat there for a little longer then got up to leave. She gave Coriolanus a wave and then went to her room.

Saylor and Finnick made it home and took it easy for the rest of the day. They were both glad the tour was over and couldn't wait to sleep in their beds.
After dinner, Finnick was doing the dishes since Saylor had cooked. and Saylor was reading a book on the couch. As Saylor flipped the page there was a knock at the door. Saylor got up and answered the door and was surprised to see Sejanus and Coriolanus.

Saylor was about to ask why they knocked but Sejanus beat her to it. " Tomorrow you will leave for the Capitol at noon. you will be there for three days then you will come back. We will be waiting for you outside. If you are not out here in time we will come get you." Saylors's face dropped. No...
She nodded at the peacekeepers to let them know she understood then she closed the door.

Saylor turned around a looked at her brother. He was already looking at her. Saylor wanted to cry. But she didn't,
Be strong, don't let him win. She told herself.
"Sayy? Do you want me to come with you tomorrow? Maybe if I'm there they won't notice you. I can-" Finnick offers but Saylor shakes her head "It's ok Finn, I'll be ok. " She interrupts him, she would never let him do that for her. "Saylor, you don't have to pretend with me. I know it's scary and I'm here for you," he tells her. "I know Finnick, Thank you but I need to face this myself. This isn't something you can't protect me from this anymore."Saylor sits on the couch trying to play it off but deep down she is freaking out.
"I understand that... but I can at least try to protect you," he responds. It was killing Finnick not being able to protect her from this. "If you need anything please let me know Saylor, or if you need someone to talk to. I know it's not a pleasant subject to talk about with your brother. But you can talk to me about anything. Or I can find someone you can talk to if you want me to. I know you like Baylee and I'm sure should would help you out." Finnick tells her
"Finnick, Thank you. You're a great brother." Saylor thanks him.

Ok so this was a bit all over the place but this is her Tour chapter. I decided I would write some of it just so there weren't any major times skips.

Also, I keep accidentally pressing the completed button, so if you see it says completed just know it was an accident. This book will not be over anytime soon!

Can you guys tell the difference between the fonts?
If it's in this font, it's her Thoughts. But if it's in the normal fonts it's just the story.
Just wanted to see if I need to put (she thinks or she thought ) after every inner Dialogue sentence. So let me know if you can, please!
