When I look over at the head maid, she is expressionless. Even Haven, staring from the door, looks discomfited

"Ah" Valekin says, his eyes gazing at me, he lifts himself up and walks towards me. I shiver, unsure of what to do. He grabs my wrist and drags me towards the door. Haven looks up at me and my mouth curls into a smile reassuring him, my eyes never leaving his as I walk away.

"The sky is beautiful, isn't it, my faithful servant?" Valekin says, and my face turns blank. "You're drunk, your majesty. Perhaps we should go back inside." I say, he looks at me intently, leaning closer, our lips barley touching. I shudder and he notices.
"Your scared, aren't you?" He smirks, the tip of his mouth curving slightly. And without thinking, I spread my hands around his chest, I lift my feet up.

Valekin leans closer and I push him before our lips touch, falling onto the lake, water splashing as he falls.
Valekin looks at me, baffled, and my mouth curls into a smile, and i laugh. He glances up at me, raising one black brow.

"Enjoying yourself?" He says, and i smile at him.

"I will never be scared of you. Never." I say, turning to leave. He grabs my hand, pulling me into the lake with him.

And i am under, drowned helplessly, gulping muddy water. I panic, snorting into my lungs. I thrust out, and it closes onto a rough hand. I get my balance again, gasping and coughing.
