Rumplestiltskin's POV:

I'm what most people call an evil soul. Some called me the Dark One, others called me Rumplestiltskin and very few have called me a coward. But there was only one person who would have called me sweetie. That would be the most beautiful person of whom I was very lucky to call my wife. Belle. She was the only positive person and my only source of light in this cruel, dark world of the Enchanted Forest. She truly loved me for who I was and I surely never knew why or how she could ever love a beast like me. Maybe it was because she didn't want to keep bringing up my past or know the truth about the darkest parts that I have not shared with anyone. She usually would ask me how my day was and then just make me feel loved. We were perfect for each other. Belle and I would wake up every morning together, smile at one another, have our arguments, and most importantly, keep the other one satisfied. My life was perfect but just as fast my life began, it ended. Well, as soon as Belle died from an accident, it seemed as if I had died with her. The first few days I was in pure denial because I never really saw her dead body and just assumed her death to be rumors. Maybe she would be back by supper. Or maybe in a week? After the denial stage passed, I went into a depression stage which consisted of killing random people for pissing me off. I knew I wouldn't have caused as much problems if Belle was still here. I began using spells to track her. No use. It was as if she no longer existed. Then, I went into what I'm still going through with today which is the acceptance stage. It's been two years and finally, I decided that she was no longer with me and that I just needed to use a memory potion to just forget about her. As I was just on the break of drinking the potion, I thought about what Belle would say to me during this situation.
"Honey, you shouldn't ever erase your memories no matter how good or bad because it makes you who you are today, which I love even more than I did yesterday."
Smiling at this wonderful thought, I put down the potion and decided that was right.

After about two weeks after the memory potion incident, I decided to go pay the Evil Queen a visit to try and escape this world and go to the other realm. After bribing her enough, she finally gave in and sent me to a new place. It was FAR different from what I was use to but it could be taken as a fresh start. This could help me live on without having so much remembrance of Belle in my castle. This could actually work.

Three months later...

Time was definitely not on my side. Seconds would turn into minutes and minutes would turn into hours. I just couldn't figure out why. Everyday was just another day of dying and no one could ever help me.
