"I am going home after three years. I wasn't supposed to go within five hundred meters of my hometown. But tomorrow is my birthday. I wanted to surprise my family. I really don't believe in the superstitions like my parents. They think the nine hundred year old vampire will take me away. There are so many young girls and so many people in our home town who is turning twenty this year. The curse is already broken. So I'll fine."

" But becky don't you think you should stay away for one more day before you go back. Like you'll twenty tomorrow. You're still nineteen. So are you untill tonight 12 pm. "

" Really! Nop you believe that.?" I said smiling. I was driving through the deep forest covered road. Nop is my boyfriend. He came with me to meet my family. My family already knows about him and they love him dearly. He is a good guy. Nop is a good guy. Even though we've known each other for two years and in a relationship for a year he haven't asked for a kiss or anything more. He respected when I told him I wanted to wait till marriage. I just give him kiss on his cheek but never more. I am a very introverted girl. I like my personal space and those who respects it.

I went through the forest and hills. After one more slope we will reach my home town.

" Nop look! That my town." I said excitedly. I stopped the car to show him the town below a hill we were at. We have to go down a hill to reach the town. Now from top here we can see the whole town's topography.

" Wow! It's so small, but cute just like you. I know the people of this town also are very nice and lovely just like you..!" He said pinching my cheek.

" Nop stopppp!" I said and started driving away again.

Nop always complements me. But his complements feels wired. Sometimes they do make me flutter. But sometimes they doesn't make me feel anything. My insides are still void. I feel the emptiness inside. Maybe because I haven't had much physical touch with him so I am not feeling that connection with him.

I always wondered how love feels like. As a kid when I used go up the hills to with my mom and dad. They would stare abd each other laugh or even just smile. Whenever my mom looked at dad's face she would just smile. I always thought when would I have that feeling. The happiness the peace. When am I gonna get that kind of comfort with a person that just looking at them would make me smile. Or seeing their smile with make me laugh.

When nop asked me out on a date I thought finally I am gonna have that feeling. But it's been a year I still haven't had that feeling of butterflies in my stomach. Whenever he do come closer to me I get more of the feeling of fear then butterflies.

Maybe because because it's too early. My mom and dad were in love for over ten years before marriage. So I just have to wait for that feeling to kick in.

As I was thinking that nop put his hand on mine. I was scared, or should say surprised with the sudden moment.
." What? I am driving!" I said with disgust.

" Well! That!" He pointed outside. His face was also pale with fear. I knew what he was talking about.

As we were coming down on a rotating path around the mountain we came in the place from where one can see the mountain that had the vampire's castle. It was a black castle. Mostly due to lack of maintenance and the rain. The castle was dark and was covered in fog. The area around it was dark and gothic. Even though the whole town had daylight. The castle had only one light on. It was up in the highest mountain which meant you can see it from evey house of the town.

But every time I crossed the mountain all I can think is how lonely it would be to live alone in this high mountain all by yourself. No one to talk to. No one to take care to. Even if the princess is still alive. I was always curious of her beauty. She was said to be so beautiful even the faires won't cross the kingdom because they were afraid of losing in beauty.

The princess must be very sad and alone with no one to talk. No one to take care of her.

" I can't imagine living in a hell like that." I came back to my senses when I heard nop's voice again.

" Humm! But it is said that there lives a princess so beautiful even the angels are shy of her."

" Isn't she a vampire now!?"

" Yeah! She is. Now she got that fangs now."

" Umm! Interesting. But is she beautiful than you?" He said laughing.

" I don't know. But I don't have poems and fairy tales written about me...!" I said sarcastically.

" Well I should start writing them then." He started to look for a pen and paper.

" Stop that...!" We finally entered my hometown. I was very excited to meet my parents and richie my brother.

The day was filled with sunshine. But as we entered the town suddenly some clouds came behind us and started grabbing the sunlight filled town. It was like a anaconda swallowing the town. As my car reached my house the clouds got bigger and bigger. Also darker. So much so that the we cannot see any light. The street light suddenly lit up. They were automatic. Everyone came out of their houses in fear.

So did my parents. The fear in their faces were visible. But when they saw me my mom fainted and dad was so scared that he didn't even noticed that my mom had fallen down.
