Y/N's POV:

It's a Friday and we are working on a small film for a contest, I didn't really read into the rules. All I know is that I've been asked to be co director.

I only came because Adrien is in the film and I wanted to be supportive. He's the male lead. When we got here Nino flagged me down and asked for help. I'm not gonna lie, he looked swamped.

"Agent Smith, it's too dangerous! We must evacuate!" Adrien says to myléne. She must be playing female lead. "You're suggesting we run, Officer Jones? After it devoured my family, my friends, even my beloved dog, Sniffles? Never! I won't run! I no longer fear it, I'm going to face it, then I'll-" myléne starts but gets cut off as Ivan looms over her in a monster costume. 

"Waaaaah!" She screams. "Cut!" Nino yells and signals me to tell everyone to get back to positions.

I walk over to the set and hear Mylène hiding under the desk, she is terrified. I lay across the desk and flip my head over the edge so she can see my face. Adrien walks over to us, he places his hand in the small of my back and stands next to me.

"Sorry Mylène." Ivan says and he takes off his monster mask. "Mylène! That's like, the tenth take, and we're only on the first scene!" Nino says upset. "Fourteenth actually. But who's counting." Alix says in the background.

"Ughhh..." Nino groans and puts his hand on his face. "I'm... sorry. I'm gonna do better on the next take, I promise." She says. I smile at her and help her out from under the desk.
"Anyone want some tea?" Rose asks

"You're playing a hero from the special forces. You're not supposed to get all freaked out!" Nino tells her.
"I know, but... that monster mask he's wearing is so... realistic and scary!" Myléne says. "Just big ol' me, Mylène. Nothing to be scared of!" Ivan tells her.

"You ask me, he doesn't even need a mask!" Chloé speaks up. She and Sabrina start cackling.

I sit up on the desk with help from Adrien, I jump off of the desk. I walk over to Chloé and flick her. "What a bratty snob! If you have absolutely nothing nice to say Chloé. Don't bother saying anything. Oh wait you can't shut up for five seconds and let someone else speak!" I yell at her and walk back to Adrien. He smiles at me and kisses my forehead.

"Ivan, put the mask back on, you're playing the monster! And Mylène, we need you to stay in character!" Nino tells her.
Ivan puts the monster mask on, and in turn causes Mylène to get scared.

"I need to sing my happy song, it always makes me feel better..." Myléne trails off and starts singing. "Smelly wolf, smelly wolf, stinky breath and slimy--" she cuts off and bumps into Adrien. "Ahh!" She screams and backs up.

"And the Oscar for best pathetic scaredy-cat afraid of its own shadow goes to... Mylène!" Chloé says and laughs. "Chloé, seriously?" Adrien asks and rolls his eyes. "Yeah, so what?" She asks.

Mylène runs away, crying. "Mylène! Anyone gonna go after her?" Marinette asks. "Mylenè, wait!" Ivan says and takes his monster mask off and runs after her.

                     Myléne's POV:

I run into the courtyard crying, I sit on a bench. Soon I am joined by someone. I look up and see Ivan. "Ummm... don't listen to those bozos. Easy to judge when they're not in front of the camera. You're doing awesome. Come back! I promise I'll roar more quietly." He says.

I look at him. He puts his hand out and gives me a black skull pin. "Here. It's from my favorite band, the Zombie Skull Crushers." Ivan says.
"Wow... Uh, that's, uhh... really sweet of you, Ivan. But... they're right. I can't act to save my life... Excuse me." I say after putting the pin on and I run away, crying.

                         Y/N's POV:

Nino is giving flak at Chloé for making fun of Mylène. And I'm not gonna lie, I'm enjoying it.

"Epic, Chloé! Just epic! What are we supposed to do now without our leading actress?" Nino asks angrily.

"Who needs her, anyway? She was totally lame!" Chloé says.

"You're lame! Mylène is crying her eyes out on the bathroom thanks to you!" Ivan yells at her. "Me, lame?" Chloé asks. "Hey, hey! Everyone chill out! You're right, Chloé is lame. But fighting isn't gonna bring Mylène back. I'm the co director, and I'm gonna do everything in my power to finish filming tonight!" I tell them. I see Mari and Alya nod in the background "The deadline for the Parisian Student Short Film Festival is tomorrow evening, precisely 26 hours, 15 minutes and 14, 13 seconds from now." Max says and counts

"Thank you, Max! And we still have editing, post-sound, soundtrack..." Marinette says and looks at me. "And who's gonna take Mylene's part?" Adrien asks and looks at me. "Um, me of course!" Chloe says and points to herself. "You haven't even read the script!" Alya yells at her. "Of course I have! The first scene anyway. I can even tell you that it ends with a kiss between Agent Smith and Officer Jones!" Chloe says and smiles at me. I scream as I imagine Chloé and Adrien kissing. "You wrote that?!" I ask Alya.

"Hold up! I didn't write that!" Alya says and looks at the script. "Uh... I wrote it. It was just a little tweak. You know, to move the story forward." Nino says shyly. "What! You edited my script without even telling me? That's low!" Alya yells.  "Wait a minute! You mean our script!" He counters. Adrien sighs and buries his head in the crook of my neck. "Juice?" Rose asks and gives him a glass of juice. "Thanks Rose." He says and drinks then puts his head back in my neck.

"Oh, who cares who wrote what? We've got to film this thing, right?" Chloe asks. "She's right. Principal Damocles is only allowing us to use school until 6 p.m. sharp. Which leaves us 9 hours, 12 minutes and 12 seconds. 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6..." Max says. I leave Adrien for a sec and walk over to Mari and Alya. "Girls, Adrien and Chloé kissing cannot happen! No way!" I tell them sharply. Then apologize for my outburst. "It makes no sense story wise anyway. The main character's emotional journey..." Alya says, Mari cuts her off by dragging me and her towards Adrien.

"Hold on!  We can't let Mylène just leave just like that, it's... wrong! We all chose her to play the leading female role! And... we're all in this movie together! She needs our support.  We're gonna go find her and bring her back." Mari says. "Always trying to save the day, aren't you, Marinette? Good luck finding the filthy hole that scaredy-cat's hiding in!" Chloe sasses. I glare at her and draw my finger across my neck, then smile. She quivers.

    Hawk moths POV:

My Akuma made it to the school and found its way to the girl. She happens to be in the bathroom looking in the mirror. "Why are you so intimidated and scared all the time?" She says cries, and the akuma enters her pin. "Horrificator, I am Hawk Moth. Up until now, you have felt fear. From now on, you will cause fear. And after you show them how they make you feel, you will do something for me in return." I tell her and she transforms and spits goo at the mirror. Then two girls enters the bathroom. "Mylène? Mylène?" They call and see the mirror, covered in goo. "Marinette! Y/N! Did you find Mylène?" A third voice asks. "No..." The first two trail off.

"Well, you better come ASAP, CO- director and producer! There's some serious lip puckering about get going on!" The third one calls. The first and second girls leave the bathroom "Time to use your scare tactics, Horrificator. And thrive!" I tell horrificator and dissmiss.

       Y/N's POV:

We are all walking back to class and I can hear them talking about the production. "Horrificator, take 15." Alix sighs. "Action!" Nino yells. "I'm not scared of that Horrificator thingy, Officer Whatever-your-name-is, now kiss me!" I hear Chloe tell Adrien. I run faster and burst into the room. "Cut!" I yell and double over and breathe deeply. Adrien walks over and smiles, I can see in his eyes he is greatful. 

"Y/N, what gives? We're in the middle of a shoot, and I'm the director, FYI. I say cut, no one else. Comprende?" Nino Yells angrily. I nod my head over at Chloe and then to Adrien. He seems to understand my situation, but is still upset.

"And I'm the producer! Mylène's supposed to be the star of this movie." Mari cuts in. "We're out of time, and from what I can see, Mylène is MIA. Let's take it from the top, people." Nino yells. "Here we go again..." Adrien says and walks back to the desk. "This is beat! Agent Smith does not need a man in her life right now! Sniffles just got munched right now, remember!" Alya asks. "Do you wanna finish this film or not?" Nino asks.

"Then let's just make Agent Smith a nurse instead! That'll fix everything." Chloe suggests "Um, I'm sorry. How, exactly?" Alya and Mari say at the same time. "I don't know, but I'm sure I'd look amazing in a uniform." Chloe snarks. "Oh, come on! We're not gonna rewrite this script again!" Nino yells frustrated. "I'm not putting my name on those credits!" Alya says. "Nobody cares about you anyway!" Chloe says.

"What?!" I turn to Chloe and glare at her again. "Everyone calm down! This movie's a team effort!" Mari starts, then turns to Chloe. "Your nurse idea's perfect, Chloé!" She says. I roll my eyes, then close them for a second an put my wrist on my forehead. I open my eyes again when i Hear Adrien speak in my ear and grab my hand. "It's gonna be okay Y/N/N!" he says and smiles.

"Of course it's a perfect idea. Because it's mine!" Chloe says. "But Chloé, you don't have a uniform." Mari says. "Right! Which is why that idea wasn't believable in the first place." Alya says. "I think you and your assistant should go down to the nurse's office and try out some uniforms." Mari suggests. "Hmm. Kim, Max, come with me. You've just been promoted to wardrobe and bodyguard." Chloe demands. Then Chloé, Sabrina, Kim and Max leave.

"Nice going, Miss Producer! Now we have no lead again!" Nino yells. "Yeah, but now we've just gotten rid of Chloé!" Mari says and smiles when she says Chloe's name. "And now what?" Nino asks. "We go find Mylène! She's here somewhere!" I say. "I told you. Tick tock, there's no time, we need a lead now!" Nino says. "Y/N can do it!" Alya says. "What?! No! I can't act. I'm... the Co-director." I reply and we both turn around. "But you wanna kiss your boyfriend, don't you?" Alya whispers. "Yes of course, but not like this. It doesnt feel right." I reply.

Chloe's POV: *didnt think you'd get one of these huh?*

Sabrina, the two idiots and I are looking for a nurses uniform. "A nurse's uniform. How brilliant am I! Even that dimwit Marinette liked the idea!" I tell the people following me.

Y/N's POV:

 "I'm only doing this as a favor, you know? As soon as Mylène comes back, she'll have her old role back." I tell Alya. 'Course she will, chill out, and just think. You'll get to kiss your boyfriend." Alya says and she giggles. 

Chloe's POV: 

I finally reached the nurses office to get a uniform for this movie. I reach out for the door handle thingy but i stop. "Hey, wait a minute! Marinette never likes my ideas. I think you've all been duped! You guys take care of the nurse uniform thing, just in case!" I tell them and leave with Sabrina. "Did you hear something?" Max says. "No. What?" Is all i hear before we cant hear them any more.

Y/N's POV:

"Totally unbelievable..." I mutter as my nerves are sky rocketing. "What's that?" Adrien asks. "Uh, I said... uh, it's got to be believable!" I fake. "Don't worry, you'll do fine." He reassures me and squeezes my hand. "Ready to roll? Camera!" Nino yells. "Horrificator, take 16..." Alix yells. "Action!" Nino says.

"I'm not scared of that monster, officer Jones!" I say to Adrien. He looks at me so lovingly. I lean in, and we are about to kiss, but Chloé opens the door and interrupts us. "Cut! I knew it!" Chloe yells. "What did I say about other people saying cut?!" Nino yells in frustration. Adrien looks at me and leans near my ear. "Can I have a kiss later?" he asks. I giggle and lean on his shoulder.

"Well played, Y/N! All that speech about working together, then you stab me right in the back! Well, your stupid little movie won't make it into the festival if I'm not in it, because my daddy is one of the judges!" Chloe threatens.

Then I hear screams. "Did you guys hear that?" Adrien and I ask at the same time. "If this is another one of your silly ploys to get me out of the way, you can forget it! Besides, I—" Chloe gets cut off. The screams again.

"I definitely heard that. We better scope this out!" Marinette says. We all follow her out the door. "A fruity snack for the road?" Rose asks.

Smol time skip:

 we all go out to the courtyard to find what's going on, while Nino is filming. "Hey! Anybody here? Kim! Max! Where are you guys!" Adrien calls out. I am currently standing behind him hiding a little.

I look down and see some pink goo. I look over to Marinette. "We saw the same pink goo..." Then I gasp. "The bathroom!" Mari and I both yell. Adrien picks up an armband buried beneath the goo. "That's Kim's!" He says. "It's like they vanished!" Nathaniel says to Marinette. "Or they're playing a sick joke on us." Alya chimes in.

"We should go to principal Damocles' office and tell him what's going on! Nino, come on! Stop filming!" Mari and I yell at nino. "Not a chance! This is just getting good!" Nino defends.

Marinette and I look at each other. "Looks like it's time to bring in the alter egos..." I whisper to her. "Yo, Adrien! Where are you going?" Nino asks Adrien as he is walking away. "I left Officer Jones' jacket back there! Should probably wear it in all the scenes." He suggests.

Adrien's POV: 

"Time to transform, Plagg." I tell him as I take off one shoe. "What are you doing?" He asks me. I show him my shoe. "So they'll think I've disappeared too." I reply. "And you say I stink of Camembert!" Plagg defends. "Plagg, claws out!" I yell and transform. 

Y/N's POV:

We are all upstairs going toward mr. Damocles' office. Alya knocks on the door. "Mr. Damocles? Sir?" she says and opens the door, but nobody is there. "Even Principal Damocles is nowhere to be found!" Rose says.

I drop my phone and run to the library. "Jack time to transform!" I tell him. "Jack, claws out!!" I yell and transform.

I run out to the hallway and hide in the rafters. "Anyone seen Agent Smith? Yah, I mean, Y/N." Nino asks, then corrects himself. I watch them search for me, Alya walks over to where I dropped my phone. "Oh no, this is Y/N's phone!" Alya screams. Chloe Looks over to the window and sees the goo. "Quick, check the windows!" she yells. "Crazy..." Juleka whispers. Then Chloe tries to open the window, but it's covered in goo. "We're trapped! I'm going to call Daddy!" She picks up her phone and calls him. "Dudes, you know cellphones never work in horror movies." Nino asks.

"No bars!" Ivan yells. "No coverage!" Nathaniel freaks out. "Told you so! Boo-yah!" Nino victory dances. I exchange glances with LB, Then we jump down from the rafters and land near the door. "Is everything okay?" I ask them. "Ladybug and Tigerlily in my movie? This is legit!" Nino cheers. "And on my Ladyblog!" Alya exclaims. "We've got to calmly evacuate the building, okay everyone?" LB asks.

  Chat Noir's POV:

"Uh-uh, easier said than done, Ladybug!" I tell her. "Triple legit!" Nino yells. "I tried to cut through the goo, but it's no good. Totally indestructible. So, looks like we're trapped inside the school for now. Just stay put and try to relax, guys." I tell everyone. I walk over to Tigerlily and LB. "Shall we take a stroll, ladies?" I ask as we walk off.

"We all know that Hawk Moth's taken another innocent victim somewhere at school." I say. "And there's only one way to get rid of this pink goo and get everyone outta here. Capture that victim's akuma." Tigerlily  smiles. "Exactly. I love it when you read my mind..." I tell her. "Ugh... And we better find this thing first, and its prisoners." LB groans. "Wow! You did it too LB!" I laugh. Nino shifts himself closer to us to film. "Don't mind me, finding the missing peeps and solving this crazy mystery with Tigerlily,Chat Noir and Ladybug... This movie's gonna be so swank!" Nino says nonchalant. "Stay together, right behind us!" Tigerlily says. "Means you too, Spielberg!" LB ends.

Hawk Moth's POV:

The children and down in the cellar. Horrificator kidnaps the scrawny one Max. Turns out the scrawny one Max is scared of it, only making it grow.

"Absorb their fear, Horrificator...feed on it! It will give you strength. And soon enough, you will be giving me strength too!" I tell the Akuma. My Horrificator traps Max in the goo.

Y/N's POV:

Ladybug, Cat Noir,  the other students and I are trying to find Max and Kim.

"We're way better off on our own than sticking with the others. Why would we stay with the group when we could just hide out on our own!" Chloé says. The others enter the classroom, and I see Adrien's shoe.

" There!" I yell. "Anyone recognize this shoe?" Chat asks out loud. "That's Adrien's shoe!" Nino yells. "That's weird! There's no pink slime here." LB questions. I look over to see Nathaniel kneeling next to the teacher's desk. "Um.. Yes, there is." He says

Then we all see Horrificator kidnap him. We all freak out and yell. Except Juleka. "Everybody run!" LB yells. "Heeelp, help, help!" Nathaniel shouts. "Awesome." Juleka chuckles

The horrificator roars at Juleka, but she is not even fazed. "So awesome..." She says. It's very slight, but horrificator shrinks. Then spits goo at Juleka. But I reach out and grab her arm and pull her out of the way.

"Eww! What's your name, Drool-lator?" Chat asks. The horrificator spits goo at him, but he avoids it with his staff.  "Cats aren't afraid of slimy toads like you!" Chat yells. "We better hurry and find out where that akuma's hiding!" I say.

"I don't see anything. Just miles of slime." Chat says. The horrificator spits goo at us, but we avoid it and step out of the classroom and into the court. "Heeelp! Help!" Nathaniel wails
The Horrificator spots the other students, who hide from it in fear. Then it lets out a gut wrenching growl.

"Fear! It's fear that gives it its strength!" LB shouts to Chat and I.
The Horrificator spits it's goo at us again, but we avoid it. Ladybug ties her foot with her yo-yo. Chat tries to attack it with his staff, but Horrificator spits more of it's goo at him. The Horrificator grabs Ladybug and spins her, trapping her in goo. It looks around and sees the other students, who scream in fear, making it grow.

Horrificator spots Ivan, recognizes him and licks him. But then theHorrificator grabs Nathaniel and Alix. "Oh no! It's taking Nath and Alix!" Rose screams. "The more scared people are of it, the more powerful it gets! By defeating fear, we defeat it!" LB warns everyone.

"Okay, but first we gotta get out of this sticky situation quickly before it dries." Chat says and extends his staff to make a crack in the goo Ladybug is trapped in, and it breaks. I use my infini-bow to shoot the goo off of Chat. I then use my infini-bow to smash the goo off of myself and roll down the wall. 

"Did you see how it just left Ivan alone?" LB asks Chat and I. "Yeah, what's that all about?" Chat replies. Then I gasp making a connection,  "I think the monster... is Mylène!" I tell them. "Where are Sabrina and Chloé?" Alya asks running up to us. "We'll find them, don't worry. If we can find a way out of here..." LB trails off.

      Adrien's POV:

As LB, Tigerlily and I run to the science room where Chloe and Sabrina are I can hear them chatting to each other. "It's a good thing I come with brilliant ideas like this... No one's gonna get through that barricade. We can just relax, and let Chat noir, Tigerlily and Ladybug do all the hard work." I hear Chloe whine. I groan at the thought of her talking again.

Just then the Horrificator grabs Sabrina. But Chloé  must have seen it, so she screams. The others hear her, and we all enter the classroom. "We're too late!" Tigerlily shouts. "But look! We can track the monster." LB says and follows a trail to the workshop.

"I'm so amped!" Nino shouts and parades around. "Turn your amp down to about 4, will ya?" I ask him. "My bad..." he says and looks down.
We all enter slowly into the cellar, trying to make little to no noise as we move.

"Anybody in here?" Tiverlily shouts out. "Tigerlily, it's me, Chloé Bourgeois!" "Don't worry! We'll get you out of there!" LB responds. "Well, hurry it up already!" Chloé demands.
"Is everyone here? Mr. Damocles? Alix? Nathaniel? Adrien! Adrien?!" Tigerlily shouts looking for me while counting heads.

I quickly dive behind a good pod "...Yeah yeah, I'm fine! What about Y/N?" I respond. "...Yeah, we've got everyone! Ugh, they won't budge!" LB says and pushes on the doors.

"Just try and calm down, we'll find a way to get you out of there!" I yell while sneaking out from my hiding spot. Then the Horrificator leaps out and spits goo at us. "Okay, now this is getting scary." LB says.

I pick up a piece of the shattered goo cocoon and Chuck it at the Monster.
"Lucky Charm!" LB shouts. " Guitar strings? Are you kidding me?" "Guitar, music... Mylène's song!" Tigerlily yells.

I look over my shoulder and see the Horrificator trying to sneak up on me.
"That's it. Enough's enough. Cataclysm!" I shout, and turn some bars rusty trapping Horrificator. Ladybug gives trashcan lids to Rose, traffic cones to Nino and Alya and a box to Juleka.

"Okay, we're all going to sing." Tigerlily says while passing a stick to LB. "Sing? So that's your plan?" I ask her. "The only way to get through this to get your fear under control. You all know Smelly Wolf, don't you?" LB asks. "Seriously? Smelly Wolf?" I deadpan. "Care to join us?" Tigerlily says, and passes me the stuff to make a mini drum. "Okay everyone! 1, 2, 3, 4!" LB shouts.

(Time skip to after battle: Y/N's POV:)
"Pound it!" The three of us shout and fist bump. "Awesome." Nino says in a daze from amazement.

(In town hall)

"Well, Mr. Mayor? What do you think? Off the hook, right?" Nino says smirking while talking to the mayor.

(Outside the town hall)

"We didn't make the cut! He said the monster was a horrible replica! Completely unbelievable! No joke!" Nino says hanging his head in shame.

"Don't worry, bud. This is how all good movie directors start out." Adrien says. We walk away from the group and head to his house.

Adrien leans over and kisses my cheek. "What's that for?" I ask him with a smirk. "Well, you didn't get to play the part and give me a kiss. I wanted that kiss though, and I got it!" He smiles like a dork.
"You're lucky I love you!" I tell him and pull my hand away running away back to the manor, with him chasing me from behind laughing.

(A/N) HOT DAMN! It's been a long minute since I last updated this book! But I have a good reason. Since this pandemic started my mom and I have been making face masks for the hospital's.... We are currently sitting at 11,068 masks as of today (09/30/20) I have been meaning to get back into this book and I am so glad to still see people reading my book and loving the chapters.

I do hope to at least get one chapter out every week, if not you guys will know what I'm doing haha!
