(Y/n) POV

"Well, since we're not able to get our bathing suits, lets go hiking instead," I offered.  We had managed to escape the Walmart fiasco and were wandering around the streets.

"That is where you wander through nature on a trail is it not?" I had been teaching him things I could think of that people do.  Hiking was one of the first ones I could think of.

"Yes, we should go to one," I sifted through my memories thinking of where we could go.  "Come on, I know just the place."  I took him to a small trail that I had remembered seeing while I was taking my college classes.  Usually I went up Kettle Trail on days that I was stressed out from talking bugs and class troubles.

"How quaint," He nodded in slight approval.

"Well I always liked this place," I took him up the trail and we got a little lost trying to find the cliff where you could gaze around at everything there was to see because Morpheus was intrigued by some squirrels...  luckily he wasn't attacked though he certainly seemed to try.  At moonrise we finally hit the peak, at least I did... "Morpheus where in the name of-" I saw his moth silhouette fluttering with others, albeit he was much larger than all of them.  "You're a silk moth yes?"

"Indeed! A black one just like my wings," He fluttered down next to me and became full sized.  I pointed out some constellations of the night sky, though with his lack of imagination he struggled to understand where the shapes came from.

"I love nights like these, the stars and moon always give me peace."

"I miss the firework stars back in Wonderland, they at least made sense with a shape."

"Doofus," I shook my head lightly at him and continued to stare up and a shooting star flew by.

"What are you doing?" I had bent my head down and closed my eyes to make a wish as it had passed.

"It's a human thing, a shooting star should grant you wishes."

"Well, I think my wish has already come true.  I have the woman I love sitting next to me on a date I think?"

I turned my head to him, a faint dusting of pink gracing my nose and cheeks, "You love me Morpheus?"

"With all of my heart I swear on my life magic that you are the person I have been waiting forever for," He tilted my chin up and kissed me softly.  I guess the firework stars had rejoined us, my heart was filled with them as I kissed back.

You guys grow up so fast!  I'm sorry I haven't written in a while... I missed you guys actually.  Also Kettle Trail is not a real place, I made it up.  But enjoy the work above, I'll keep doing my best.
