Here Comes The Bride

Anytime you hear his name now since you married me. Sense and sensibility, have reconnected again and again.
The Wedding Cake Beautiful, four tears of decadent pleasure. Tufts of creamy white frosting each layer different, coconut, vanilla, next chocolate, marble chocolate, strawberry, each guest decide a flavor desired.
Fried crispy chicken legs, sliced roast beef , Candied ham. 300 hundred guests for a double Wedding reception took place on this day. The food was amazing as the church choir sang all kinds of songs, and each couple made their way down the aisle. One looked and gazed at them happily, pictures taken using a disposable camera.
Flashes went off, flickering of light. At the end of each Pew, a big white bow does pretty. All-around pink roses, just beautiful in large vases.
Minister Smucker, officiated the ceremony, he stood up proud the Bible open in his large hands ready to preach. Both Beautiful Brides stood up next to their soon-to-be husbands.
Giving a lovely, unforgettable sermon. About being able to set out and serve our Lord with your mate forever.
Soon after they greeted folks in the back of the church both couples married. Hugs, handshakes just pleasant Amish greetings. They all looked so waunderbra gut on their Wedding Day, always to remember never forgotten.
Downstairs a Wedding Reception goes on, a religious rock band singing, popular songs from the radio. Everyone there cheered for clapped on this special day. Such adored married couples around town as these two Couples are.
Decorated Buggies left outside saying just married, Congratulations. They left, streamers, blowing in the wind, empty tin cans, bounced around the ground. A lovely August day, extremely warm outside, sunny, and clear. Happy Wedding Day.
John Schmucker, Samantha, and Adrianes Dat arrived he'd moved up finally. His sons came along in the move. They had enjoyed the wedding very much. Soon to headed back to The Vegetable farm, where Samantha and Adriane, lived for so long. Now married off to live with their husbands. They move onto their farmstead to live happily ever after.
After the Wedding, John and his sons settled into their new farmstead, anxiously awaiting, the time has come.
Then Cattle moved in and, branded, dusting going all over because of do many digging their hooves up in the solid dirt ground a fence around it. Lots of dusting later for my housekeeper, and head cook. She is a widow her husband died from cancer, leaving her with sons and full-grown running farms left from the will.
Alvina Allya needed an out to have somewhat of a life of her own. At the the age of forty-five years old. Beautiful for sure, John looked at her twice. He'd not looked since his Jean died so many years ago.
For some reason it felt gut being here, a change of scenery, mature for himself John. And never before felt so free as this at the age of fifty. Handsome as ever, with dark blonde gray hair, striking blue eyes, a gray beard, mustache clipped up close to the face. Built strong medium built.
Everything moved in, and later dust settled down. As far as you can see beauty in all the trees, green evergreen. The smell of the pine cones scattered around under trees. Pine cones far up in the trees stuck in between.
They all look like undecorated Christmas Trees. Lovely, landscape, ever seen very far and few in-between.
Sun going down, to those still amazed in glory be it's beautiful. Big rustic barns, among freshly painted white ones, uniquely to fit in to be almost painted onto the landscape.
He wandered in to eat supper, the boys already had eaten and were out driving buggies looking around the place. It was just he and Alvina, eating together, roasted acorn squash, malted butter, and brown sugar. Roast beef, salt, and pepper, roasted potatoes, and freshly baked carrots with melted butter. Homemade vegetable soup. Hot kaffi, cream sugar. And ice water, pitchers of it. Homemade wheat rolls, butter, slabs of Apple crumb pie, churned vanilla ice cream.
They sat across the table from each other, shyly at first, then chatted away. Chit, chat easy-going spirit of talking like never before.
" Danke for hiring me, John, I'm enjoying it so much really I am. I'm used to having boys around I have seven boys grown farming. Time to kick up stardust in our eyes again, maybe?
Only time knows the broken road, leads to where? Anywhere? Only time will tell, our Lords made a path to where you will find true happiness. Companionship, romance, love and so much more.
Afterward, talking for hours going for a walk even. They ended up sitting under a large oak tree on a dark brown bench. Looking out over to a cornfield starting to bud, about ankle high now. Smelling a bonfire the boys had lit. Smokeless so far, clean air around the fire pit
All six kinner sitting around it, laughing and roasting hot dogs, and smores. Delicious, singing along. " honestly I've made the best decision buying this farmstead," John admitted.
Town became back to normal again. So many wild things had gone on since the interstate was not far from there. Since then strangers have come to town.
     The End
