"Cough! Cough!"

The smoke cleared to reveal two coughing figures, one wearing a lab coat and a turtleneck underneath with white long baggy pants while the other one also wore a last coat but with a neon turtleneck and dark blue jeans with belts and chains on it, the two wore goggles, the one wearing normal outfits wore a normal lab test goggles, while the blue-turtlenecked one wore huge goggles with a silver outline, it looked like one of those Creepypasta character's goggles, only with the glass being blue instead of orange.

"Another fail", the casual scientist took off his goggles with a sigh of disappointment, "Don't 'cha worry Sci, we'll get 'em sooner or later", the blue-time-themed one reassured his partner, also taking off his blue goggles.

A knock was heard from the robotic doors of the testing chamber, "Command, 'Open Door'", the blue one shouted as the metal doors opened sideways, revealing the all so familiar ex-scientist or the assistant of the well known detective and his other friends from the department.

"Well if it isn't old Decster and his pal Freshie. Says, what brings you here boys?", the time scientist stated proudly, he wore a heavy accent, "W-Well, we needed your help with something", the blue and yellow eyed skeketon stated nervously.

"Aight! What 'cha need?", the time skeleton stood back, his elbows on the testing table, leaning back, "Well, you see, we need some sort of equipment that would create some sort of 'anti-force-field' that lets us use magic even if we were in a anti-magic zone", a certain ink monster explained as the normal scientist had an idea popped up.

"Oh! I've got it!", he shouted a eureka as he ran to a shelf and got a blue piece of paper and ran back to the table, stretching out the rolled paper, he took a white pencil and scribbled some sketches over the already sketched paper, "What 'cha got in mind Sci?", the time skeleton asked the science one.

"Remember that anti-magic bracelet? I'm thinking if we reverse the mechanism, we may be able to make one that produces magic instead", the science one states, scribbling more on the sketches, they were done, "Time to start", the time themed one walked to a box and started searching in it, finally finding some gear, he walked back to the science one and placed all the gear down.

"You guys can go, we'll be seein' ya tomorrow, kay?", the three skeletons nodded and walked out, "Command, 'Close Door'", and the metal doors closed, leaving the two scientists to work on the bracelet.

-meanwhile-
[Police Department, Ebbot City]

"I'm sooooooo bored!", a certain blue cheerful skeleton whined, his arms stretching on the cold cafeteria table, "Shut up would 'cha? A zombie tryin' a sleep here!", a red scarfed officer complaint, placing his head back in his arms on the table, "If you're a zombie, might as well infect my heart~", the one and only death officer flirted with the red scarfed one.

The black and glitched skeleton in front of the death himself shook his head with a little chuckle, "What?", Reaper asked confused, "One, poor attempt at flirting. Two, my brother there is already asleep, he's a walking zombie who sleeps everywhere", the glitch explained to the Reaper, as Reaper deadpanned, "Bet you ten bucks he ain't asleep", he bet on the glitch, "Bet 'cha twenty", "Deal!"

The two looked at the red scarfed Cq, and waited.

Snore...

"Shit! You win...", the Reaper cussed, glaring at the glitch when extended his hand as if he was demanding for the money, "Fine, take it", the death said smacking the twenty G to his opponent's hand, his opponent smiling afterwards, counting the money before placing it in his wallet.

"Thanks do the lunch money", the glitched one quoted, "You'll pay for this E", Reaper glared, "Technically you lost the bet, not me here", the glitch stated in a matter of fact tone, "Shut up", the death glared much darker before turning to the sleeping officer, "You'll never get him in this state", Error stated sighing.

"They are way over heels on each other aren't they?", the SWAT officer, Dream, whispered to the black skeleton, sitting down and handing the glitch Cq a cup of coffee, sippin on his own.

"Yep", the glitch Cq agrees before sipping on his coffee, "I thought the eldest always gets everything first, yet here you are younger than Geno but already having a boyfriend", Dream smiled at the skeleton, "How did you actually won his heart? It's hard to even be partners with him", Dream asked curiously, sipping on his coffee again.

"Well, we were best friends since we were kids, so it's pretty easy to win his heart, I know he loves colors and flowers. So I brought him to a Starbucks café far from here but close to the flower gardens", Error explained, sipping on his coffee yet again, "Hey Geno, want some coffee?", Dream asked the eldest Cq.

Immediately, the sleeping skeleton shot up awake, shocking everyone except his own brother, Error, "Sure", he stated blunt before falling back asleep but with his right arm extended as if he was asking for the cup of coffee, Error chuckled and teleported away before teleports back with another cup in his hand.

He placed the cup on his brother's extended hand.

Immediately, his brother shot up from his sleep and chugged the coffee down before sleeping again.

"What?-", Reaper was cut off, "My brother's a coffee addicted, walking, and tired twenty-four-seven zombie... Get used to it", the younger Cq stated bluntly and plainly, as if he was used to it.

Suddenly.

Bang!

The door shot open with the three gone monster officers, Decans, Ink, and Fresh.

"Tomorrow-", Ink cut off, his pinpricks turned to a red triangle and a red 'X'.

"Our plan begins"
