Chapter 3

"Hey sis, where are you?"

"I am here in the mystery section."

"Man, I am so surprised that Abby's parents allow you to have the fourth floor to be the library." She said looking around.

"Well, it is not all my books. We have school textbooks occupying the whole self by the door."

"Yah, but the rest are all books of yours. Two thirds of these books are yours and the others are like books that are random for our use for research."

"Umm. I love it, plus you guys also like to read the books I have."

"True. By the way, do you want to go to the movie theater?"

"Why? April, you want to go watch something?"

"Abby does, so I figure we can take a break from unpacking and go watch something. We can also practice more of our French".

"Okay. Give me like fifteen minutes and I'll meet you down at the front door".

We walked to the movie theater to watch a movie that Abby wanted to watch. She loves to watch movies, in general mainly romance and drama. Hearing she wanted to watch Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List. I remember that I saw the trailer for this movie and knew what was going to happen. Regardless if this would be too predictable, I think Abby wants to watch the movie, but I wanted to pick something else that we also could all watch. I looked at the other choices.

"Hey Vi, what are you thinking because you look too concentrated to listen to me for the past ten minutes. Let's go in."

The movie was almost done, and Abby nudged my arm, "hey I know what happens next so let go and maybe we can watch what you want to watch? April is fine with it."

"Sure, why not? Can we watch The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies?" I said to Ab.

"But that is an action movie and I don't want to watch it. I don't like it because it is too much action and possible blood," said Ab.

"Do you think I enjoyed what we just watched," I said as I raised my eyebrow, "I just stayed with you through the whole movie. Come on Ab! Come with me to see my choice of movie. Please? Plus, April wanted to see it too" I said pleadingly.

"Okay fine?" don't expect me to not cling to you during to movie.", said Ab.

We walked into the movie theater and the movie had already started. The movie was fantastic. It was intense, epic, magical, had a lot of action, with a good soundtrack, and had great special effects. Abby did not like too much of the action, but she ended up liking the movie. We talked about what we liked about the movie on the walk back home.

The next day was the first day of school for us. Our new school is called Lycée le-Grand Paris. April is in a Première grade. Me and Abby were now in Seconde. Our house was big and tall, so I can go to school. The campus is huge. The school literally has a field for every sport, three gymnasiums, ten floors of classes, a big cafeteria with international food inside, and an enormous area for students to hang out. Classes are set up in a unique way. It is set up like grade level classes. Like if you are in Seconde you are put in either 1-A, B, C, or D depending on your academic grade. There are eight periods with homeroom included.

Basically, affluent and middle and high middle-class students went to this school. It was astonishing that this school did not have uniforms, which was pleasant. We got to wear whatever we wanted that fit into the dress code. I was one of the few girls that had pants on, all the girls had dresses or either skirts on. Every girls' hair was all different. Abby prefers her hair in a ponytail, April's hair in a one side braid, and mine in a messy bun. I never cared if I was different from my girl classmates. I just dressed the way I thought was comfortable. I was pretty much a tomboy. I did not like wearing too much of the girly stuff. As I walked in with Abby, she squealed right in my ears and jumped up and down.

"What was that for Ab! Hold on, I am going to get our schedule okay?", I said.

"Okay bye." Ab said. I got our schedule to go to class.

I went to my homeroom class 1-A. Abby went to class 1-B. I was one of the smartest kids in my old school. My sister was the smartest of her grade in old school. On my way to my homeroom, I saw my teacher waiting there patiently for me.

"Are you Vivian Easton?" said my teacher.

I just nodded and went in with her into the classroom and introduced myself. My teacher assigned me the back corner of the classroom beside the window.

"Well hello class. I am Mrs. Sabrina Sydney. Please call me Mrs. Sydney. I hope everyone will get along and not negotiate with me!" As she said that last part of the talk, she stared at the boy who was across the room sitting in the front row. After homeroom, I went to my three other classes and then went to lunch with Abby.
