After I had finally calmed down Garrett told me the rest of the story.Basically,after my mother and her friends found the flower that she had used and absorbed during the war she demanded that all of Magnus's mundane prisoners be set free as well as the Forrest of Dead Winter to settle and create Quiversmith.He also explained that my father was the mortal keeper of the flower's power because he'd believed in the magic of the elves and his belief gave the flower its power.Amy had left after I realized I could understand Garrett,so I walked around the hut to find her sitting outside on the roof.I could tell she was deep in thought,so i cleared my throat and tapped her on the shoulder.She turned and smiled then she frowned as if her earlier thoughts gave her a reason to be upset to see me.

"Hey are you okay?" I asked for the first time since the fight with the Drag.I took a good look at her and i realized that she had really been injured.She was pale and her eyes looked like Sarah's did the last time I saw her.

"Yeah I'm fine just a bit tired." she replied,then as if sensing my next question she said,"Look, about the fight earlier?I am so sorry.I mean Will - .What will said about you was just not okay,and do you know he's trying to push me and Nathan together just because he wants me to be with someone who will report everything I do to him?I hate it Gabriel,I really truly do.I know right now it seems like he hates you, but I think that he trusts you and is afraid of letting you know so that you can't take advantage of him.As she unloaded all of this stuff on me I realized that maybe I didn't hate Amy as much as I thought I did.

"Amy, it's fine calm down.I forgive him,I for give you."  I told her and no sooner than I had finished, the moon came out from behind the clouds and she illuminated like the countless stars in the sky,the forrest became quiet and time seemed to slow to a stop.That is when I finally caved and kissed her.At first she seemed surprised,but then she kissed me back.

When I finally pulled away to catch my breath,I looked her in the eye and said,"You are beautiful,clever,and fierce.You cannot be tamed by anyone.You are mine,my own little hydrodynamic,and if Will can't see that then I'll -"

"You will what?Ruin not only her life but mine as well?Amy what about Nathan?How is he going to feel about this?"Will asked in a rush as he came from his hiding spot in the trees interrupting me.

Amy glared in his direction as he glared at me before shouting,"Will!You can't decide who I fall in love with.You cannot rule my decisions and if I decide that I want someone else then that is the way things will be."she finished strongly before flying off into the night.

Will's face hardened as he turned towards me,"Come,"he whispered ominously,

"There's something you need to see."
