I spin towards the mysterious sound,and I see a tiny sprite. I sit stunned at the sight before me,then I froze .  .  . how did I know what it is called? I blinked and the sprite appeared to have vanished ,but I could still he his laughter. I sprint from the library,thinking I've just had a demonic encounter,and head to the nurse.When I get there I force on a stomachache knowing if I am sick enough they'll send me home. I think that the nurses know I'm perfectly healthy,but they play along and send me home with a low fever. At home Alice feeds me,and leaves me in my room where she comes to check on me every once in awhile.While I lay in my bed I look up sprites and get a bunch of fictional stories. I read a few that look like documentaries,when a loud hacking cough erupts from the room across from mine. I sit up, close my laptop,grab a face mask off my bedside table and head toward Sarah. I open the door and stick my head in,my mouth and nose covered with the mask,and ask,"Feelin' any better Sarah?" Her eyes barely open to a small pair of almost lifeless pale cerulean eyes, She tries to smile,though it looks more like a grimace. Sarah was dressed in her Favorite monkey P.J.'s

 "Gabey?" she asked in a hoarse whisper,"If I die,will I be able to see Mommy and Daddy again?" The question brought tears to my eyes and tore a hole in my heart.Sarah truly believed I was going to let her die,but what is worse is that she has just entered the first stage of Themalis which is depression and any feeling of hopelessness.

 "Sarah,you're not going to die,"I said grief edging my voice,"I won't let you.You're going to be my healthy baby sister who enjoys everything and everyone."

 "But I am to sick Gabey I sleep all day, and I don't even eat a lot anymore.Gabey my time is running out an-"

"You're time isn't running out, you're going to be healed because I am going to find you a cure no matter what it takes."With that I storm out of the room, but not before I hear her whisper the rest of her sentence,"and I will see Mommy and Daddy again."
