I just couldn't get Harrison's words out of my mind.

Friends don't look at friends that way.

What is he was right?
What if I was in denial about my feelings.

I couldn't. No. It'd be wrong. Y/n is Sofia's best friend. I can't do this to her.

I restlessly lay in bed, turning from side to side.
Ugh, I couldn't get those words or her out of my mind. Reckless desicions are never good, just like this one. It was 2 am in the morning and I decided to text Y/n, hoping she'd be awake. I just needed to talk to her.

Me- hey Y/n, u up?

Y/n's P.O.V

I looked up at my ceiling as I lay in bed, listening to 'If this is Love' by Ruth B. on loop.

And thinking about Tom.

It was 2 a.m in the morning. I couldn't sleep. The eye contact, that moment. I just couldn't snap out of it.

I kept twisting and turning in bed. Just then, I heard a notification. I picked up my phone. It was Tom.

Tom♡- hey Y/n, u up?

My face instantly lit up, my lips curling into a smile.

Me- yep. cant sleep.
Tom♡- me neither.
Me- my reason is caffeine. what's urs?

I lied.

Tom♡- a secret ;)
Me- ooh tell me about it Thomas.
Tom♡- um, I'm just wondering what to get Sof for her bday.
Me- TOM HER BDAY'S IN 2 DAYS!
Tom♡- i know, i know. does this make me a bad brother?
Me- i think it just makes u a busy brother. i mean its kinda understandable with all ur filming and stuff.
Tom♡- aw thats sweet. and true. thanks, love ;)

We continued talking for the rest of the night. Atleast until I fell asleep.
