I was at her doorstep and wondering about how I'd greet her when she came to the door. I didn't plan what I was going to say I just went head on and decided to wing it. Now I was regretting that decision and my mind was all jumbled whilst my stomach felt like it had many butterflies flying relentlessy inside of it.

Reaching out my fisted hand, I knocked thrice on the red wooden door then took a step back onto the stone pathway that lead to the door.

After a few seconds I heard small shuffle, a few sniffles and the door opened to show my Annie with a tear stricken face, red nose and red eyes. Her mascara had run down her face and her pajama's looked baggier than ever. She had dropped weight since the last time I'd seen her in person. Annie's face was bonier and her skin paler. What had I done?

"Annie, I- I just came to, uh-"

"Come in Matthias," She said before turning around and walking up to her room leaving me behind to close and lock the door.

I had reached her room which looked like it had been ransacked but there was nothing worth finding so the robber left the room in a mess. There were shattered photo frames leaving glass, blood droplets in the carpet and the walls had dents and scratch marks.

Annie was sat cross-legged on the bed and was looking down at her mattress with a few tears running down her face still. I decided now was the time to tell her how much I loved her. To tell her how much she meant to me.

"Annie, you stole my hear the minute we met in high school. You were in all the top sets whilst I was struggling to not get expelled. Your parents hated me and thought I was a terrible influence upon your life and I let you fight for me which ended creating so many problems. I remember when we started dating and many boys in our year looked at you in a different way but you never gave them a second thought but I on the other hand gave every girl attention and I'm so sorry for that. We'd been dating for 2 years and were about to head into college when I made the biggest mistake I have ever made in my life and I'm so sorry for that Annie. Please forgive me. I'm not afraid to say this to you now because I know it's for sure," I blurted out to her watching her face lift up and looked straight into her piercing blue eyes.

"I love you,"

Then I leaned in slowly and gave her the most passionate kiss I could ever give her.

She didn't reject me.

Annie broke the kiss and looked me back in the eye saying,

"I love you,"

So this is the end of the book! I don't really know about writing a prequel, that might come later on if people like this little book haha.

I hope you like this and I will be editing it. Maybe changing some bits up and adding more chapters I don't know but for now I'm going to leave it up like this!!
