11pm

Adan drove to Jonathans house that they shared. He walked into the room spotting Jonathan on the bed.

"Jonathan we need to talk."

Jonathan gets up from laying on the bed and has a concern look on his face. Adan walks over to Jonathan and takes a deep breath getting ready to what he is about to say.

"I think we shouldn't be together anymore. I always bring you back when you're always gonna cheat. I try my best to believe the good in us but now I think we should just leave this relationship we have before it gets worse. I had the best 11 months together but Jonathan," Adan stops himself from crying and wipes his tears, "half or more than the times it was us fighting and you cheating and me always here to give you a chance. I try to talk and fix stuff but its you doing stuff you said you wouldn't do anymore. I want us to fix but I just don't want to waste all my effort in it anymore, I put so much in this relationship that you're probably still thinking we are just one night stands, and the fact that we know we're wrong for each other but don't say anything just hurts. I really liked you Jonathan but I deserve better."

Jonathan stares blankly at Adan not knowing what to say but to know that he was right. Jonathan knew that they couldn't keep the relationship going and it was gonna end one day. Jonathan just let the person he didn't know his feelings for walk out the door.

Adan gets up from the bed and walks away grabbing his car keys and drives to a person that he knows.
He presses the doorbell and waits for them to answer.

12 am

"Hi."
He said to Landon.

Landon takes a deep breath after throwing up all that beer he had. He was surprised Adan came to his place this late. 
Adan had a concern look on his face.

"Landon are you okay?"

"Why are you here?"

Adans heart drops. He felt like Landon didn't care for him anymore but just always thought he had one more chance.

"I really want to apologize." Adan says.

"Adan all those months you could've apologized to me and now you're doing it? Did Jonathan break up with you or something?" Landon scoffs disappointed in Adan. Landon didn't know what to think, was he happy that Adan was here? Or was he mad that he came.

"Just let me say what I need to say and then you can decide. Please."

"No Adan."
Landon tries to close the door to make Adan leave but he puts his hand on the door to stop it from closing.

"I need you to listen Landon."

Landon reopens the door and Adan puts his hand away.
It starts to drizzle in the sky, drops of water hits the floor in front of Landons doorsteps while Adan stands outside.

"Landon it took me so long to realize how much you mean to me. Me and Jonathan weren't the best and I knew when I left you. I choose the wrong person and now I know that it takes a while to choose who you really want to love, and its you Landon. All those months I thought about you. I never got over you Landon. I really do like you. I know I'm too late now but I want you to know that you will always be in my heart and I will always be thinking of you."

The rain starts to pour harder. Adan stands there in the rain looking at Landon waiting for an answer not caring that he was almost soaked.

Landon was quiet. He finally had the person he wanted. All those months of waiting. Landon got the person he really wanted right in front of him in the rain.

"Adan you aren't late. I haven't got over you." Landon says, "I just wished I wasn't the second option."

Adan nodded knowing what he did was wrong, but he can't give up on something he loves. Adan wanted them to give him one more chance even if it was the last. At this point the rain poured harder and harder but Adan didn't care but just waited for Landon.

"Landon if I have to wait 40 years I'll wait for your answer. If I had to wait 50 years in the rain, I'll wait. Waiting for the right time with the right person isn't fast, so Landon I'll wait because you are the right person for me." Adan says.

Landon was silent. The raindrops just kept the noise going in his ears. He really did love Adan. He just didn't know the right word of his feelings.

"Landon I think I should go." Adan was already soaking wet, he wanted to give Landon space to think, Adan feels like he was too late from how Landon was responding but he didn't want to lose hope, but he feels like he did. He starts to walk away when he heard a voice from behind.

"Adan wait!" Landon says stopping Adan.
Adan stops wiping his face with his hand from the rain trying to see Landon.

Landon stares at Adan before the words come out from his mouth.

"Adan, I love you."

Adan and Landon run to each other in the rain and hug while they both get drenched in rain. The two look at each other having eye contact smiling uncontrollably going in for a kiss.

"Landon, I love you too."
