"Ugh! Why are we the ones who have to help build the new building?" Lan Jingyi complained loudly. He huffed and sat down on the dusty ground. His was face sweaty and flushed, sweat dripping down his forehead and the sides of his face. His hair was mattered with sweat and stuck to the back of his neck. His sleeves were rolled and tied; robes once white were now dirty and sweaty. "I get were Lans! We have good arm strength but this- this is ridiculous! They have us working from sun up to sun down with hardly any breaks and no sleep!" 

Ouyang Zizhen groaned and flopped down next to Lan Jingyi. He didn't look any better. In fact, he looked worse than the Lan. He took his hair down before retying it again, hair stuck to the back of his next. "I...I can't feel my arms..." 

"Chickens." Jin Ling snarked, walking past them with arms full of heavy sack bags. He looked even worse than Zizhen. 

Jingyi rolled his eyes. "Like your doing any better Mistress," he snarked. "You look like shit." 

"Guys, please don't start fighting." Sizhui pleaded. "Lets just get this finished?" He was currently holding ten times the amount of what Jin Ling had been carrying. Jin Ling and Ouyang Zizhen gawked at him. He didn't even look that tired. 

"What the fuck?!" Jin Ling screeched. 

"What are you made of?" Zizhen asked in wonder. 

"Si-Sizhui!?" Jingyi squawked. "Ar-aren't you even a little bit tired?" 

Sizhui had the audacity to look embarrassed. "Well.. I admit I am a little tired..." 

"...how...?" Ouyang Zizhen whispered, still in shock. He hadn't moved once. 

They all froze and stared in a mix of wonder, shock, and horror as [Y/N] in all his short glory decided to walk through in that moment. He was whistling softly as he walked by, two giant blocks of stone sat on his shoulders. 

Everyone's jaws dropped. 

"Is... are you sure he isn't a Lan?" Ouyang Zizhen whispered, awing at the male. It also terrified him. Someone who was shorter than him was that strong. He did not want to find out if [Y/N] could drop kick him. He was more than happy to stay on [Y/N]'s good side. 

[Y/N] stopped, whistling cutting off on an awkward note, he turned and smiled widely, waving a little. 

"How... how did he- did he just wave?" Jingyi gapped. "He-he's holding fucking stone blocks!" 

"He makes them.. looks like a bag of air..." 

"Hey guys! How are you doing?" [Y/N] jogged over to them. "You look like shit." 

"Gee.. thanks for that observation o'holy great one," Jin Ling snarked. He was doing a fairly good job of hiding his wonder and horror - that or [Y/N] is just an oblivious fuck. 

"How-how are you..." Ouyang Zizhen lost his voice. 

"Hm? Oh-" [Y/N] laughed. "Its easy!" He looked to the two Lans. "Aren't you two Lans? Shouldn't this be easy?" 

"I mean.. yes...?" Sizhui trailed off. That wasn't very reassuring. 

Jingyi couldn't stop gawking. "Ju-just how strong are you?" 

"We could test it," [Y/N] shrugged. "I'm almost done with everything anyway." 

The four of them were barely half way done and [Y/N], who was ONE PERSON, was nearly done. Life was so unfair. They decided that in that very moment. 

And so that's how Lan Wangji and Lan Xichen found them. [Y/N] was walking around with two stone blocks resting on either shoulders, sack bags of who knows what on top of that, and then four juniors piled on top of everything. They were holding onto each other for dear life as [Y/N] walked around, looking unbothered. He was even whistling a little tune and hadn't even broken a sweat yet. 

"What..." Lan Xichen's smile froze as he began to question his entire life. 

Lan Wangji took one look and walked right back to Cloud Recesses. 

"Are you sure he isn't a Lan!?" Jingyi screeched, hugging onto Jin Ling - who hugged right back - as they nearly fell off the wobbly make shift tower. 

"Who knows-"
