✒A Warm Hold✒

Third POV

It's been a week now. A bloody hell of a week, well for Yugyeom. and Hodo has yet to wake up. Its very simpl, I mean how to wake up, open a pair of eyes and say hi, But it was not the same case for her. It seemed as if she was not willing to do it at all.

It Must've been really so hard for you. to put up with all that pain, but can u please...just wake up?

Yugyeom was really having a hard time. He needed her. He need her warmth, her joks, her forgiveness. Even if she dont forgive him, at least he need to hear her beautiful voice.

He coursed those people who made her like this thousand times a day. Even killing them one by one was not enough to aswer for what they did to her.

Why did they mess with her. If they wanted me and my company they should have just come at me. Why her? Why did she have to suffer from it.

If anyone It should've been me. the one laying here should me, not her. Thats what he consistently thought.

When he found out how both of hyunah's parents were also part of the whole thing, he just couldn't believe it.

Couple days ago, when his mom came to the hospital with yoona, she called him out of the room for a second and told him about it. She told him about how hyunah confessed it all. how she planned everything with her parents a very long time ago. how they were targeting their company and family. Hyunah wanted to marry him, then poison him and mask it as a heart attack. So she can take over the company along with her brother with no difficulties.1

She also confessed how she was behind both of hodo's father and brother's death, she said that killed them and masked it as an accident. Because she wanted to get hodo away from Yugyeom.

And that was bot all. she got rid of anyone that she thought will become a distraction or get in her way.

Back in high school, there was a girl. Her name was sunmi, she used to be Yugyeom's seat mates and also a friend, though she was not very close friend of him. she was nice girl.

One day she was found dead and they said she committed suicide, every felt strange about it, even Yugyeom, he just couldn't believe it. Since she left school in a happy mood. but guess what? Ended up that Sunmi was alsi an other victim of the psycho named hyun Ah.

And to think he was in love with non other then that same psycho for 2 years, blindly, he wouldn't define himself anything other then a royal dumb.

In the end, Her confession was enough to put her and both of her parents behind the bars but it was not enough to satisfy him. He wanted to make their life memorable. He wanted to make them feel and test what it feels like to live in hell. He wanted skin them alive and heal them, then skin them again.

But at the end of the day, that's not humanity. And he was not an animal, because if he was an animal, then he wouldn't be sitting here, with tears in his eyes, praying to God for miracle. Praying to God not to take his one and only source of happiness away from him.

Hodo POV

"Dear daughter, what are u doing here?" I opened my eyes as a cold air slapped my face. Causing me to shiver. I did hear the sound but I couldn't see who it belonged to due to the extreme darkness. I was even confused as to whether my eyes are actually open or not.

All I could see was a darkness and coldness. However the voice seemed very familiar to me.

What's going on? Why can't I speak?

I wanted to ask who's there but no sound come out of my mouth.  It was like I was a vedio which is on a silent mode. I looked around when I once again heard the same familiar voice to see if I can spot where the sound is coming from

"Why are u here daughter?"

Wait is that my dad?

"Dad. Is that you?" I shouted as loud as I could but again no sound came out.

"Hodo. You should not be here. You should go back" an other familiar voice echoed faintly from a far place. Or so I though. I knew this voice all too well.

"Brother? Dad? where are you? I can't see you?" I walked towards the direction of the sound but I couldn't even figure out where I am walking to or anything else's. All I see is black.

Then suddenly, I felt a warmth slowly creeping through my hand. It was just my left hand. The rest of my body was still freezing cold except my left hand. It was as if they were right beside me. You know the heat u feel when someone's standing right beside you? It was the same feeling.

"Go back daughter. They are waiting for you".

Back to where? Who's waiting for me? Where am I? So many questions and I needed answers.

I slowly opened my eye, firt thing being a blinding light.

I blinked couple times to adjust the light. My head was bounding a little as I tried to move it and see my surroundings.

Where am I? What happened?

the same warmth on my left hand was still there. I looked down at my hand and this time I immediately recognised the person sitting beside me, looking down while holding my hand.

That is when everything rushed back to my mind. Remembering everything, from how I got kidnapped by hyunah and got beaten up by her gang, and  almost dead from their beatings, to how the last person I saw was Yugyeom. He Must've saved me and I must be in a hospital.

"Y-Yugyeom.." I bare formed a word While trying to reach him out with my other hand. My throat felt very dry making it hard for me speak easily

Noticing my movements, Yugyeom immediately looked up at me, raising up from his seat in the process. Squishing my hand in his while brushing his other hand on my left cheek. Making my heart beat speed up at some point

Even though my eyes were only slightly opened due to the force of the strong light, which I didn't completely get used to, I could still manage to form out his expression. His face looked very worried and yet relieved at the same time.

"Omg. Babe! ....u r Finally awake.."

Wait Baby? I seem to hear that before too.

"..how are u feeling?..can u hear me? Omg wait, I will call the doctor" he started and was about to go out but I managed to weakly clasp on his hand stopping him from leaving

"Yes baby.!"

"W..W-water.."

Yugyeom quickly handed me a cup of water As he slowly and gently helped to sit up

I gulp down the whole cup of water in hunger. And after I slugged down the whole cup I could finally feel my throat again.

"H..how are u feeling now?" Yugyeom asked with the softest tone I have ever hear. His eyes were filled with worries. I have never seen him like this before. And now that I have finally get used to the light in the room completely, I could make out more of his look. And expression.

His Eyes had huge dark circles around them. he looked paler then his original taned colour. He also looked weaker then I have ever seen him.

What happened to him? Did they...

"Yugyeom, are you okay? What happened to u.....did they do anything to you?" I reached out to his face, my heart bounding in anger. As worries took over me.

"Are you worried about me now? Realy hodo? Do u even know how long u have been out....do u even....do you know how scared I was? ...i.." Unlike his usual self, Yugyeom trailed off as a big bundle of tears stopped on his brown eye's causing my heart to twinch in pain. Seeing him like this was more painful then getting beaten up it's self.

I am nothing but trouble for him.

"I am sorry Yugyeom, I didn't-"

"I..i thought lost you hodo!"

The next thing I know was Yugyeom's warmth engulfing  around me.

I know I haven't been updating lately. That's because I was really caught up with other stuff, like exams, work, and some other obstacles. I am glad that I, at least got a little break which I took advantage of so here I am.
