Good things don't need to always happen to good people

It's been two days since that incident. I have never comprehended that something like this could have occurred to me but I guess I have so many hurdles around me that I cannot decide on whom to trust.

The way air changes its direction I have understood I have to change mine too. otherwise, things will slip from my hand.

I have been asking everyone if they have seen Neel Malhotra, not because I missed him as everyone was doing here. we have to present our project tomorrow and he is nowhere to be detected. Meanwhile, Sarah was trying hard to do anything so that I can get restricted from this University. she even tried to involve the dean in this situation but I am not letting her do this ! to snatch my only dream.

in the past two days, I have been to his house where I cooked the dinner or to his mansion where I met with his parents but there was no sign to find him.

Therefore, I conversed with the professor about all the trouble he was making! but Professor declined my only chance to get me safe he even warned that if I made any excuse he would not pass me in the internal assessment then I would be left with no scholarship!

so, I have attained one goal of my life to kill Neel Malhotra! he is such a bastard! what does he even think of himself?

When  I will see him I will kick him hard so that he could land on his ass then I will chop his head with my own hands!!! I bloody hate him!

"Woah! you seem like you are going to kill somebody!" that was Sam Hudson who was trying to make a mockery of me with his most charming smile.

but this time I am not going to let go of this matter!

"don't you believe you are speculating too much about him? after you just slapped him?" now, he was cocking one of his eyebrows.

"I have to! we have a presentation to give and he is nowhere to be found!
If looks could kill he would have been dead meat.

" well in that case maybe I could help you!"

He was smirking! I saw his eyes were twinkling from the shine of the sun and his chiselled face was ravishing its details to the sun.

Suddenly, I felt him too close to me. Too close that it made me uncomfortable, I was just about to push him, maybe he was trying to do the same thing which his friend started!

Before I could react in any way He pulled one of my cheeks, " you imagine too much don't you?"

Yes! I overthink everything! I think too much every time, everything before reaching a conclusion
"No, who told you that?"

He giggled, hard this time, "now listen to me very carefully!"

His minty breath was fanning my ears as one wrong move and I would collapse into another wall again.

He slowly nibbled my name, " Julia?" Shivering my body all over from some strange emotions.

"You can find him in the Dark ally of the town!"

Thousands of thoughts came over to me. What the hell is a dark ally of this town is? What is he doing there? And why does it sounds dangerous to me?
I am not going to drag him down into a stupid dark ally maybe I could ask Sam to do it!

"Samuel Hudson?"

"I prefer Sam!" He narrowed his eyes.

"Dear Sam, will you bring Neel here?" This is my last option otherwise I have to go there on my own!

"Trust me I would prefer to help you, but I can't! he will not come with me just to give his presentation! He doesn't care about all these aspects! I guess you should sort out your worries with me that's the least you can do to make his peanut size mind works!"

Now I have to find him! Because I have asserted to work with him. God knows why in the first place he kissed me! First of all, he stole my first kiss without my acknowledgement and when I got angry and slapped him he is hiding in the nutshell! Now I have to find him! Long, in short, he played well and I became a fool for his repugnances.

"but what about today? what am I going to explain to Mr Peter?" I have always thought of him to be a kind one. Indeed he is kind but when it comes to rules and regulations he forgets everything.

"don't worry about that I will waste his time for sure," he winked at me.

only this could save me otherwise my chances of living here would be decreased.

"So Samuel Hudson why don't you tell us what you have prepared with your partner?" from the last two hours Sam was asking every kind of question to those who were presenting. It was looking like he was the Professor. No, bot Mr Peter! good aspect his plan worked. now, we have only one and half an hour to waste.

after Sam and Victor Presentation, it's my and Neel's turn. please save me, god, from this trouble I beg you.

"Why are you so keen to know about my interests Professor?" he raised one of his eyebrows.

what is he implying here? Mr Peter hesitated for a second his beautiful eyes shone for a second but after that got lost in the corner.

"because you have been so attentive in my classes Samuel !"

"you know I prefer Sam!"

oh, sam this is not the right time to pick up an argument with him!

"Dare to tell us your topic?" he raised one of his eyebrows.

"yes of course, first I would like to announce something to the whole class!" then he stood up and started walking towards where Mr Peter was standing, his eyes had determination in them and I saw the hesitation in our Professor's eyes!

what's going in there? is there something which we students should know but we don't have any idea about?

"so do you guys know why sir is so nervous right now?"

"or should I ask why he has dirt over his shoes? so, Mr Peter where were you at last night?"

what? is Mr Peter a Murderer who secretly kills his students and hide their bodies in the graveyard?

"I am sure you are a free bird to roam around in this country but don't you believe, you should be careful about your b-"

"Samuel Hudson I want you to come to my library right now!" with that he left! all the students started shouting and hovering in hustle as they have won a victory against anything.

Poor Mr Peter, I was feeling terrible about him. when Sam was trying to follow him I rushed in to stop him, I needed to know where to find that bastard!

"Listen to me! how to catch up with
that place?"

" you don't have to worry I will pick you up in the evening" and with that, he vanished in the thin air of pilgrims.

I still don't know if it was a promising indication to go and find him or maybe I am frightened because this country is still new to me. these peoples are still new to me the way my life is getting a roller coaster ride, it is thrilling but dangerous to me.

still, I didn't get what is the deal with Mr Peter. If this type of incident has transpired in India, Neel would have been disqualified because of his low attending power.

"what do you think of yourself?" Woah this came out of nowhere! when I was in the hallway trying to get hurry for my class this creature named Sarah blocked my way for no reason.

"A girl, of course, well can't you see that! oh, you know what? just because I am different from you, doesn't mean you have high standards of yourself, so don't you ever attempt to block my way! "

yes. finally, I am standing against her! and if she tried to downgrade me again I will kick her ass. what does she even think of herself? A princess? My foot!

"shhh! don't fly high baby girl, you might get lost! and don't use this down market tone with me, behave yourself! you should know that you don't have any right to address me like that and about my standards, they are very much far better than yours, so just stay within your limits otherwise you would not like to know about the consequences!"

I am going to kill her! that's it I have decided that!

"you bloody b-" before I could complete the sentence, I saw her screaming and she was on the floor, weeping or maybe trying to weep so that people can gather here.

"run before crowd gather here!" bang on! It was Alisha and then we ran to the fields to save ourselves from this tormenting creature.

"How did it happen? and where were you till now?" I asked while breathing heavenly.

"Trust me I wanted to slap her on her face, but then maybe I would get expelled for a week. so I kicked on her legs when she was so involved in defaming you! and my family had taken me to some countryside, my cell phone was not even active there. that's why you didn't have any clue about me."

family! I miss my family so much. my maa, papa and grandpa, all love me endlessly. oh god, I miss them so much.

" you must have been rejoicing?" I inquired her while avoiding eye- contact. I couldn't let her see that maybe I am perceiving jealousy, my family is not with me in this foreign country.

"don't you feel depressing darling, consider me as your family," she winked at me.

I was wearing a hoodie, underneath it was the shirt and pants which my mother gave to me. it was chilly outside. the weather was strange; it was showing all the colours of the universe in the sky with its deep wavelength which can console me in its powers.

I was waiting for Sam, I inquired Alisha if she wanted to come with me, and to my amazement, she knew the territory was near to her home. Therefore, she will directly meet me.

it's around six in the evening and he isn't here till now! I believe I should call him, so I picked up my cell phone to dial his number.

but I stopped by doing, I heard the sound of a Motor Bike. It was not just a Random Bike; It was Bloody Harley Davidson's! What's with these all rich people and their selection of vehicles?

"so are you just going to stare at me ? or you will hurry up, we are getting late!"

oh yes, I need to hurry up. I only have three hours to get back to the hostel again, I can't get late even if life is getting in danger.

I tried to get on it but failed miserably! and in the next moment, I saw him snickering hard while shielding his face with the helmet.

"Ha Ha! It isn't that funny!" I mocked him. No one can mess with me!

"It is actually, when you see it through my eyes it is funny, Ms Intelligent cannot help herself to get on a bike!"

when he glanced at my complexion, he must have seen a devil inside me. hence, he offered me his hand to assist. I hesitated at first but I didn't have any choice so I accepted it!

"are you ready? you need to hold me otherwise you will be dead by tomorrow!" he was smirking, I could sense his voice.

"No, Thankyou, I will be alright and alive by tomorrow!" I was getting a strange feeling in my stomach! besides that, I know how to tolerate myself, I am not going to die anytime soon especially when I have to give a presentation.

"Ready? let's go!"

I clutched anything of sides which made me secure without holding him!

but aspects can't go the way we have planned them, right?

when he increased the speed, it was like I was flying in the air and my heart would burst any time. Sudden adrenaline rushed into me, I was not assuming anything; just about the sky and me!

However, when he increased the speed again, I have no idea why I felt a sudden jolt that I am going to decline so I grabbed him from his waist. I didn't want to but I didn't have any possibility left so I did.

'' Oh, finally you have decided!" I could feel his smirk.

I didn't answer.

A territory like this I have not seen before: where you can only see cars and bikes with different varieties flying on the road as they feather in the sky.

The only discrepancy was people were shouting as they were maniacs in the sky to discover some peace.

It glimpses like they were racing. fighting with each other in the night. yes, it is already dark and I was getting chills from the weather but my heart was pumping fast in my chest. I was feeling solitary and very strange as the universe was giving me signals that something is erroneous with this territory. I didn't glimpse many girls here in comparison with boys; boys will be a little word to use they are grown-up men who have built their bodies just to win the race.

their eyes were dark like this territory. I believe I should get out of here as fast as I could.

but I also have to find him! what the hell is he doing here in the first place? what if he is a gangster? who kills everybody and he was absent because he was waiting for me to come for him so that he can kill me?

oh my god is he a killer?

"you look nervous, do you need some water to drink?" Sam inquired me. he must have seen my face changing colours to getting pale.

" No- I-I guess I am alright!" I shuttered.

"No wait here, I will be right back. let me give you a bottle of water!" before I could stop him. he vanished into the dark area leaving me all alone in this dangerous place. I tried to call Alisha but there was no network either!

my heart was beating. I was sweating from head to toe, maybe I am going to die due to my panic!

" Hey girl, what are you doing here?"

ohhhh no! plz god save me!

I didn't respond, I stood right there where I was waiting for sam! why was he taking so much time?

suddenly, I felt a hand on my back. this cannot happen! I won't allow something like this to occur to me!

I kicked him hard on his leg!

"John gets in here, there is someone whom we need to teach a lesson!"

fuck everything! I need to run!

I kicked him hard; he again attempts to hold me, I was about to run when I felt a hard body crashing into me.

"you shouldn't have crossed your limits, now pay the consequences!"

I tried to Shout but no voice came. I was dragging down to the room but still, no one came to help me. I struggled very hard to kick to their balls but I failed in it miserably

I tried to bite their hand but nothing arose!

God, please save me. I did not come to California for this! why cannot you support me? I have not done anything wrong to anybody then why these boys are dragging me!

I kicked again and the guy fell on the floor! I bitted the second guy on his hand; making him cry in the pain.

I started moving to the other side, but then, I felt a hand on my ass and in the next moment, I was pressed against the wall!

I was hitting, Jumping, screaming too to let go of the filthy hands from my body! but nobody gave a damn.

"feisty, I like that! now, stop moving, it's all your fault, you shouldn't have kicked me, therefore, I am going to devour your soul right now!"

and with that, he grabbed my hair from his hand and slammed my head against the wall!

"Please let me go!" a weak girl sounded in my place but it came more like a whisper to me!

then I felt his lips over mine; when his hands were roaming all over my body, squeezing my breasts.

"How dare you to touch her?" A sound came in the light when a dark body started punching the guy.

There were dried tears in my eyes, my whole world was turning upside down, I felt like I was going to decease soon, I was short of breath and when I tried to shout no sound came. abruptly, I felt blank because there was nothing left to feel.

I believe I am going to die.

"Julia," I heard the last sound and a fragile image of Neel when everything went blank.
