The sky was dark in the night. Only lights from vehicles and buildings give the colourful scenery. Shinoda run over buildings with a moderate speed to keep his guard up whether his enemy will attack. He was wearing a black trenchcoat like Tachikawa's albeit . And just like what he think a flash of light attacked him and he quickly use shield out of his instincts. Following the bullets Osamu himself rush over with his raygust in attack mode. Shinoda raise his kogetsu to block the attack. Since the glasses boy use thrusters before charging Shinoda felt the heavy attack he launched. And with that they exchange attacks . Osamu was aware how Shinoda's strength at melee was overwhelming. So he started jumping back, jumping down from the building to the road below. When Shinoda followed the young man he sent some asteroids to him which trail him off a bit but regain his composure and launch double senku . Osamu defend himself with his raygust and a thick shield that broke away. After landing they charge at each other and started to fight. Mostly at Shinoda's side since he was using a kogetsu. But hey, Osamu was doing good too. He focused to defence for a while but thinking plans at his mind. His three years at war, two years of Yuma's training, and another two years at training in his current life was surely paid off. But in the bad way he get used at using kogetsu and scorpion thanks to Jin and Yuma more than the trigger he was currently using or at least his original one. After few strikes Shinoda finally killed Osamu but as tricky as always Osamu had a back up plan. Planting asteroids and killing Shinoda which result for a draw.

After the fight the hologram city faded and turned in to pure white. "Advance planning was good but you should stop sacrificing yourself like a suicidal" "I'm offended" Osamu jokingly said. "I'm serious this is not a joke" "Do I sound like unserious?" "Very" Shinoda stand with his own feet while Osamu will rather lay down at the floor

"Want some rice crackers?" Jin just appear out of nowhere and say that. "Jin, did you finished Commander Kido's task?" "Of course I did! I stick it in a folder with Osamu's report" Jin answered. "Even thought we had some same statements Osamu was a lot more details. Seriously when did you become so good at remembering things Osamu?" Jin look at Osamu who was laying in the floor. "Get up already, we still have meeting" Shinoda courage . "There's still 30 minutes" Osamu resorted. "It's quite traffic and raining outside, you will be late if you didn't get up there" "I can run" Shinoda sighed at the reason. Sometimes this cinnamon roll becomes handy sometimes.

"You still need to get Chika I suppose" Jin was the one to talk now. "You should've remind me" Osamu said quickly getting up to take Chika. Jin just give a smugly smile at Shinoda. While Shinoda just look at him in defeat

Chika P.O.V

The raining today was heavy. How should I suppose to head at our meeting place with Osamu? This is bad...

I was only in the side of bus stop and roofing with it. The rain was strong and it was traffic. I didn't bring my umbrella because it was sunny when I leave at my house. But now it was raining. Adding another problem I forget to ask where exactly we will meet. I remember the name but I don't know the place.

Just then a boy that was inches higher than me walk next to me. A light-skinned boy of average build. He has thick eyebrows and medium-length, messy light brown hair that falls over his green eyes. I look at his green eyes with curiosity. "You don't have umbrella?" he quietly ask in the shortest way as possible. I shook my head. He was wearing a little casual clothes so maybe he belong here. When he was about to open his transparent umbrella I speak. "Um... Do you perhaps knew where is Kageura's restaurant?" I asked. He look at me eye to eye. "It was in the next street. Are you heading there?" he asked. Chika just nodded. "I was also going there, you seems not be ready at the rain. I guide you there" The boy invited. "Thanks!" Chika happily replied. "Chika Amatori anyways!" "...Ema Yuzuru"

With a short introduction Chika and Ema shared the same umbrella. Ema willingly cover her in the rain while guiding her to Kageura's restaurant.

They walk in some minutes before successfully getting to their destination. After getting in front of the restaurant Chika look at the boy and smiled brightly. "Thank you!" Chika cheerfully said. Even it was raining Ema felt a warmth of sunshine from the smile.

Immediately Chika saw Osamu waiting patiently and run towards him. But she look back at Ema and says. "Hope you have a nice day, Ema-kun!" she smiled again. Weirdly something hit Ema. Not physically but inside him. What's with that smile? It's... Like a sunshine brighten up his rainy feelings. He stalk his eyes to Chika while entering at what he assumed friend of his.

Someone hit him from back making him snap at the reality. "Found a girl huh?" A young woman with chin-length messy black hair and black eyes with white pupils. She also has freckles under her eyes and on the bridge of her nose . he look at his shoulders to see his one and only mentor Mirai Hitohara. Ema didn't reply but a flush of red appeared at his cheeks. "No need to be shy, she is the little sister of my friend! I can introduce you to her!" Ema perk up made his mentor smirked.

In a distance Osamu can see Ema smiling and blushing while talking to Hatohara-san. He actually planned to late because he knew Ema will come today. He smirk a little. "Anyway after the meeting Toma-san invited you in to a training" (Toma knew about shadow's daily presence at border but he didn't know their identities). "Really? I will come!" Chika reply as they entered at the car.

In the meeting Osamu and Jin just submitted the papers and they talk about the plan. Since there are still some months left they just train and watch the away mission selection. And also Osamu was also planning on making Chika practice to shoot people. Actually she can but it she was still hesitating. He must cover that up.
