Well the C.D.C. was a bust, we lost Jacqui, almost lost Dale and Andrea. I'm in the RV, mainly cause Glenn, Rick, and Carl are here and I'm closest to them. I know sooner or later I'll have to get close to someone other than them but it's not my strong suit. I got close to Carl and Sophia during the time I've been with this group. After a while we stoped for gas and got back onto the road. I guess I must've fallen asleep on Glenn's shoulder because I'm woken up by a loud sound from the R.V. Damnit must've been the radiator hose. We go around and look in the cars, god, people didn't get too far from the highway. After looking in a car I see Shane by a big water car. Please say there's water! I quickly jog over and see he's already looking in it.

"Yes, full jugs!" I say looking over to Glenn. Shane opens one and it quickly goes everywhere. I squeal since some got on me, gosh it felt amazing. But that was short lived because a few minutes later Rick tells us to get under the cars. I get under a random car and see that Rick's already under it. I quickly start to panic because of it being a tight space, Rick sees me and puts his hand over my mouth to calm me down I close my eyes for a few seconds and open them again. After a few seconds Rick sees Sophia run out and he quickly gets out and runs after her.

~~~~Small time skip~~~~

After what happened with Sophia, I decided to stay near Carl, keep an eye on him. I have my gun holster on my thigh with my Beretta 92fs, my knife in my hand, and my quiver and bow over my shoulder. I see Carl go over to a car and open the door to the drivers side. I see him messing with something in the car, he falls down I put my knife in my pocket and I quickly walk over helping him up, I take the bag/tote/thing he has in his arms.

"Hey I found that." He quickly says. "I know Carl, but your mom would freak out if she knew I let you carry this around," I say patting his head continuing,

"Hey, how about we show Shane and your mom? I bet they'll be happy that you found them." I say smiling down at the kid.

"Hey mom, Shane, check this out I found an arsenal." Carl says while I put the arsenal on the ground opening it up. Shane just tells him to give them to Dale. Carl picks one up messing with it.

"Woah it's a hatchet. They're really sharp." He says ignoring Shane.

"Carl, be careful. Don't play with those things." Lori says walking over, taking it out of his hand.

"Can I keep one?" Carl asked looking back at the arsenal. Lori says no and he asks Shane to tell her to let him keep one.

"Hey man, go give 'em all to Dale now. Go." Shane says harshly.

"Shane, be a little nicer to the kid before I hit you upside your head." I scold him, picking up the arsenal.

"Come on bud, let's give these to Dale." I say putting my free hand on Carl's shoulder.

~~~~~Time skip just cause it's like 1 am here😂😂~~~~~

Andrea started something about her gun being taken and had to bring me into it.

"Rose keeps her gun in plain sight, nobody's taken it yet." She says.

"Rose! Come on over." Shane says. I walk over taking my gun out.

"Look, Andrea, you might not want to bring me into this, I've been trained, and I was a cop before any of this shit happened, so if any girl is going to keep her gun, its me." I say cocking the fun with my leg(I know nothing about guns). "And Shane, if you have something to say about me having it, talk to Rick, we saved each other's asses back when we got out of that damned hospital." I say looking at him. After a few seconds I holster my gun and walk away seeing Rick and Daryl coming back. After a while of them explaining that they looked all over and cut open a walker to make sure it wasn't near Sophia, Carol sits down breathing heavily.

"How could you just leave her out there to begin with? How could you just leave her?" She asks still breathing heavily.

"Carol, I know you're scared for your little girl, but I bet you Rick tried everything he could to make sure your daughter was safe. He would risk his life for anyone in this camp." I say looking at her then Rick.

"Those two walkers were on us, I had them off. It was her best chance." Rick says after a few seconds of silence.

"Sounds like he didn't have a choice Carol." Shane says looking at her.

~~~~I'm skipping to where they're in the woods. Rose is with Rick, Carl, and Shane.~~~~

After a while we come across a deer, I look back to the others and see them looking at it too. We make our way around to a little clearing and Carl starts to walk up to it. I'm kind of in front of him and I suddenly hear a gunshot and feel pain on my outer thigh. I look down and see that it only grazed me.

"No. No. No, NO!" Rick yells. I turn and quickly see Carl on the ground.

"Oh my god!" I scream/yell. Thankfully nobody saw that my thigh was grazed.

"Rose, your thigh? That just now?" Shane asks looking at me, I nod, wincing. After a few seconds a man comes running out of the woods into the little clearing we are in.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry, I got a farm with a doctor, you can take the kid and the lady to, it's just up that way." The man says pointing to where it is. After a few minutes Rick, Shane, the man, and I are running, Rick is carrying Carl and Shane is helping me every few minutes. The man just runs behind us. He slows down some and just stops, panting. Rick asks how far and he tells us half a mile the way we were running to.

"Talk to Hershel, he'll help your boy and the lady!" He yells panting. Me and Rick run ahead and get there in a matter of a few minutes. And not a moment too soon cause I collapse from blood loss.

"Shit, Rick you get that boy there and then you come back for me, you hear?!" I say laying down. A couple minutes later Rick comes back out and picks me up walking/running me to the house.

"I also got a lady here, the bullet barely grazed her, still got her in the thigh." Rick yells throughout the house. "Alright I'll check on her, hopefully it isn't bad, I'm Maggie." The short haired brunette says.

"No you take care of that boy, I'll be fine for a while." I say and Rick puts me down helping me to a chair in the room near Carl's. Shane comes in a few minutes after. "Someone, help me into the room with Carl, I have to see him." I say holding an arm up. Rick comes over helping me up and getting me into the room with Carl. I sob at the sight. He's laying on a bed pale.

"You know his blood type?" Hershel asks holding a pad-like thing to the gunshot wound.
"A-positive, same as mine." Rick says.
"I'm a universal donor, type-O." I say holding my thigh.

"That's fortunate. Don't either of you wander far, I'm gonna need you both. Your thigh, that happen today, right?" He says to us/me. I nod and he tells Maggie to patch me up and he asks what happened.

"I was tracking a buck. Bullet went through it and grazed the lady, went into the kid." The man that shot Carl says.

"The deer and the lady's thigh slowed it down, which certainly saved his life. But it didn't go through clean. It broke into pieces. If I can get the bullet fragments out, I'm counting six." Hershel says looking at the bullet wound on Carl. While they were talking Maggie got me cleaned up and sewed my thigh a little to make sure it's fine.

"Lori doesn't know... my wife doesn't know. She doesn't know." Rick says crying a little. After a few moments I hear Rick blaming himself. I walk/hobble over and sit next to him on a nearby chair.

"Now you listen here, Rick, nobody could've know that would happen. I'm happy I was there to slow the bullet down some." I say. Maggie comes out saying for Rick to get in the room to give blood, we walk in and I see Carl moaning, crying, and yelling.

"Oh my god," I say covering my mouth to stop a sob from coming out. A lady comes over to Rick and helps him with his arm, getting him ready to give blood.

~~~~~Time skip again, sorry I'm lazy. Rose and Rick know the names of everyone on the farm and it's still Rose's POV~~~~~

Shane and Otis(the man who shot Carl and me) are going out to a high school that had a FEMA shelter thing to get what Hershel needs to do surgery. Maggie and I are going to where Lori is on two horses so we can get two people. When we get there Andrea is being attacked by a walker. Maggie quickly knocks it off her and asks for Lori, explaining the situation.

"Lori, get on Maggie's horse, she'll take you to where Carl is. Glenn, you're the person I'm the closest to out of everyone, so hop on, you'll be my crutch for a while." I say. Maggie quickly tells the others where to go and Glenn gets on the horse I'm on, after we get back, Glenn gets off the horse first and then helps me down. We put the horse back and Glenn helps me get back to the house. I see Rick and Lori hug, I'd have to say I'm jealous of her, she has Rick and Carl. The first day I met her, I already didn't like her. She volunteered Rick to go to help get Merle back and then pleaded with Rick to not go.

"Quit glaring, you'll make it obvious you like him." Glenn says next to me.

"Shush Glenn. And how'd you know I liked him?" I asked looking him questioningly.
"Since I saw you all defensive over him when Andrea put a gun in his face, oh man you were red! And when Lori, him, and Carl hugged, you were basically throwing daggers at her with your eyes!" He says laughing.

"Well don't tell anyone, and keep your voice down. Lori already doesn't like me, don't need to give her a reason to hate me. And I care a lot for Carl. When he got shot, I cried. Thank god I was in front of him a little, my thunder-thighs come in handy sometimes." I say, laughing. Glenn laughs at me too. We walk into the house and Hershel tells me I need to rest. He has Maggie show me a room and she says I can take a shower. After the shower I redo the bandage on my thigh and put on the 'night' clothes I got from a dresser. After getting dressed in a new sports bra, some workout shorts, and putting my hair into a messy bun, I ask Glenn to help me get in the bed. But instead of being normal, he moves the covers around and picks me up bridal-style, making me laugh, and gently setting me down and covering me.

"Hey, Glenn, tell Rick to come here when he gets the chance, yeah?" I ask tiredly. He just nods his head and walks out. I fall asleep a little while after that.

SORRY FOR ALL OF THE TIME SKIPS!!! Next chapter will start off where Rick goes and sees Rose. Oh and also, YAY DOUBLE UPDATE. And it might be triple *wink* *wink*😂😂
