I'm good now.

"Kita, what are you doing here in—y/n-san?" The student council president walking to us from behind with his friendly smile plastered brightly. But it immediately vanished because of shock. His expression changed to worried in no time. "What happened?"

"Nothing. Y/n-san just tired and fainted. It's my fault that I don't pay enough attention to my teammates." I answered deliberately. I don't have any obligation to explained y/n's problems to him. And I don't want y/n to hate me because of it. The president doubting my answer for a second, but I guess he just goes with it to ease the tension.

"The infirmary doctor already went home. Do you guys will accompany her there for a while?" He asked then following us.

"Hmm. Shin, I'll accompany y/n-san here and you can go back to the gym. We don't know what announcement that the Coach gives to us. Who knows if you're needed there?" Aran said with a concerned look. It's true. Even if I'm not included as the starter player, I'm still the club's captain. I guess I should go back.

"Alright. I'll go back immediately then." After we reach the infirmary, I lay y/n down to the bed and cover her with the blanket. She is still unconscious. Should I call her father? But, I don't know his number. Besides, I'll be risking my life if he knew her daughter has fainted because I don't pay enough attention to her. But that's better than let her unconscious for too long.

"Aran, I'll call for y/n-san's father to—"

"Y/n-san will wake up soon. Don't worry. I don't think she wants her father to know about this." The president says that while looking at y/n's condition. Actually, I know it too. She is the type that doesn't want to make her parents worried. She's the kind of person that tends to act strong in front of others. I sigh harshly and caress her cheek.

"Okay, I'll go back to the gym now. Aran, you stay here for a while."

"Then, I guess I should go too. I still work on the proposal for the clubs' maintenance budget. That one is super complicated, haaaaa." The president walks slowly while grumbling on his own. Should I help him?

"If you need help, I can do the volleyball club's one." After he heard it, his eyes sparkled and he grabbed my shoulder while acting like he is sobbing.

"Sob, sob, Kita. You're such a blessing, indeed. Not only you did really well in running the club, you always help me to do this. Thanks, mate!" He looks straight into my eyes and smiles happily. I just nod and get out from the infirmary to go to the gym.

"I'll give the format to Ojiro. You can take it later, okay?" He speaks louder so I can hear his words. I give him a thumbs up and walk directly to the gym.

Shinsuke's POV end

Y/n's POV

I try to open my heavy eyes and found that I already in the infirmary. I look around and no one here, but someone is talking. I try to wake up and sit. I think that person is walking to my bed. He is smiling, the smile of relief.

"Captain." I can't say it loudly. My throat is so dry.

"You're awake." He walks to me with a gentle smile. I give him a weak nod. Why do I feel so weak?

"Wait, I'll give you water." He opens his bag and gives his sports drink to me.

"Thanks, Shin." After I drink it, my mind recalled something unbelievable. 'Sh1t! Why I fainted after blabbering that crappy story?! Why I'm so dumb?!' I clenched my hair and hitting my head. 'You, dumb mind!'

"No, don't hurt yourself, okay?" He holds my hand a little tighter to prevent me from hitting myself. His eyes glistened in worried. His voice seems like he has been crying for a while.

"Shin, don't cry." I try to reach his cheek and caress him tenderly. He closes his eyes and leans his head to my hand. My heart beating so fast. Does he feel comfortable with my touch? He opened his eyes and hold my hand that caresses him. He sits in the bed and looks straight into my eyes, still holding my hands.

"Do you want to stop being our manager?" My eyes widened.

"NO. Why I wanna stop? I'm sorry if I'm being a burden today, I promise I won't ever—"

"Alright, alright. I got that. Now, calm down." He smiles gently while bringing my hands to his forehead. He closes his eyes again and deeply breathing as if to calm himself down. I can feel his warm breath in my hands, it makes my mind goes blank. I stare at him which still closing his eyes and holding my hands. Slowly, he opens his eyelids and we stare at each other. I know I just staring at him without saying anything. But it makes me insane. He is so pretty. His eyes only looking at me, his warm and big hands holding mine, I don't know what kind of situation is this. He seems to want to talk about something.

"Y/n-san, I wanna ask—"

"Y/n-saaaaannnnnn! Samu won't share his snack with—" Atsumu barging in, but immediately stopped and standing idly there with widened eyes. He smiles awkwardly. "Uh, um, I-I'm gonna come back after ten minutes." He awkwardly walks away slowly with a weird step, but Shin lets go of my hands and stand up.

"It's okay. Call everyone here, Atsumu." Shin talks with his usual cold tone to Atsumu. Atsumu just nodded and get out at high speed.

"Um, Shin, what do you wanna ask about?" I look up at him curiously.

He giggles, "It's a secret. I can always ask you about that later." He brushes my loose hair and put it behind my ear. I just pouting at him, 'What is it? Why he called it a secret?' I thought. He pats my head for a while and stopped after the boys coming inside.

"So, are you feel better now?" Akagi asks with a concerned face.

"Yeah. I'm sorry for making a scene out of nowhere. I'll try my best so I won't be a burden." I smile at everyone and they look dejected.

"Who said that you're a burden?" Omimi looks scarier now.

"Um, me?" I smile nervously at them and scratch my cheek.

"Y/n-san is our blessing. Don't say that you're a burden, please." Atsumu whines.

"And y/n-san always give us snacks," Osamu said while munching on his jelly. Atsumu then smacks him on the head.

"It's not US, you fvcking cheapskate. You never share it!" He grabbed the jelly from Osamu's hand. But Osamu slapped Atsumu's hand and running outside. Both of them are gone just like that.

"Well, y/n-san will still be our manager, so don't worry about that anymore. I'm sorry for not giving enough attention to everyone." Shin bows a little. But, it's my fault. Why he's the one who asks for everyone's forgiveness?

"It's no one's fault, guys. It happened because we still don't know each other. That's why we felt this way. Come on, we're a team, everything's gonna be better soon. And let's go home now, it's late ya know!" Akagi rushes everyone to go home. "I'm hungry. And by the way, y/n-san is still not added in our group chat. Hurry up, come on home, my mom's dinner is waiting."

I giggled, "Alright, let's go home." I try to wear my shoes but Shin takes them from my hand.

"I'll help." He kneels and undoes my shoes' tie first.

"Uh, um, Shin, it's fine—" I can't show my flustered face to everyone. It's so embarrassing.

"No, just stay still." I don't know what should I do. So I just do as he said. Stay still.

"Ehem, we'll wait outside." Aran pushes the others and goes outside with them. OH, GOD! Huft, calm down, heart. You can do this.

"I-I'm sorry, Shin." Now, stuttering? I, sigh, better shut my trap up.

"Hm? What is it for?" He smiles beautifully while tying my shoes. I only can see it slightly, but he still looks stunning. I touch his fringe again. His hair is so soft, what is his shampoo? (Author: Nah, not that one, gurl :'v)

He finished do my shoes and look up at me, still with his smile plastered on his lips beautifully. I know that sometimes when you're tired you can't control what you'll say, right? But I don't want to do that now. Unfortunately, "Please, stay with me tonight."

His eyes widened. "Yes?"
