[03] I remember

"Yah! Just because you don't have a class doesn't mean you can sleep in the whole day!", your younger sister nagged at you as she pulled your blankets and started to shake you.

"OMIGOD!", you screamed at her, and she backed away in shock before returning to her nagging self. "What are you screaming for, you old hag!", she hit you softly with your own pillow.

"Ignoring her attempt to scold you, you clutched her shoulders tightly. "I..."

She remained silent, sensing the seriousness in your voice. "I... met Youngjae in my dream last night. I think your bracelet worked...", you slowly confessed as your eyes fell on the red bracelet on your right wrist.

"Ohmy-, maybe he is really your soulmate and the bracelet made a way for you to meet each other...", she mumbled and you nodded furiously.

She stared back at you for a few seconds before picking up the pillow on the floor and hitting your head again, this time stronger.

"Is that what you think I'd say? You met Youngjae in your dreams for a million times now!", she said and you fell silent, she was right. This isn't the first time you dreamt about Youngjae, but you knew that this time was different. It felt more surreal, it felt real.

And this time, you remembered every single detail as if you really spent the night at a park in Seoul last night. The soles of your feet could still feel the dampness of the freshly cut grass and the chatters of the people still resounded in your ears.

However, the most important person was Choi Youngjae. You breathed a sigh of relief after you closed your eyes to make sure that everything was still fresh in your memory. Every part of his face, every word he said and his laugh, you remembered everything.

"Are you not gonna snap out of your daze?", your younger sister said in annoyance as she headed out of your room.

"Are you going somewhere?", you asked, noticing that she was all dolled up.

"Yeah, movie date", she answered and you snorted in response. "I'll go home late so eat without me, okay?", she said and you just nodded before heading to the kitchen and rummaging the fridge for some ready-to-eat food.

When you heard the apartment door close, you immediately switched on the television to kill time, but your mind kept on remembering last night's dream. After a few hours of lazing around, you decided to pull out your unused notebook from last semester.

You closed your eyes as you sat in your chair, once again recalling last night's dream. Smiling, you started writing down everything from the start to the time you woke up.

"I'm not going to forget...ever".
