Ruby was tired from traveling so much. Her dad went off to fight the war and her mom was killed by some giant mosquitos fighting in the war. But that happened when she was just 1 week old. She barely remembers them. she was going along the forest looking for something to eat. all she saw was Footprints of a bird. In the distance was a big lake. She was thinking that if there was water there was food. She saw a mark of something or some one. Ruby was going down to see what or who it was, when she saw that there was a snake! Ruby hissed at it. The snake hissed back. Ruby and the snake had a fight for a day! For a year! For at least 5 minutes! Once she got to the lake, there was a dragonet about 7 years old who looked almost dead. Ruby gasped with fear. Ruby ran over to the dragon and then said: "Are- are you ok?" there was a moment of silence, and the dragon moaned. Ruby guessed that she was sleeping altho her left ear was wrapped in leaves. "Oh ok. I guess I will just leave you to sleep."Ruby said after a while. Ruby turned back to go home, but instead decided to stay to make sure the dragonet was ok. She went to get some mango from the mango tree. The mango was not looking like a mango but she ate it anyway because she had not eaten for days. She also saw some chocolate milk looking-pudles here and there. She loved chocolate. But if she really wanted chocolate, she had to get cocoa beans. She saw some in the distance but decided not to get them. Then she saw a bird-like-cat and a dragon-like-cat coming her way. She moved out of the way and then the bird-cat thing did a spell like thing. "What!? How did you do that?!" the dragon-like-cat said. " With time and practice of course!" the bird-cat said blushing with pride. There was a pause, and then "with magic." the bird-cat said. "Oh" the dragoncat responded. SO awkward.. Thought ruby. Then after a while the dragonet opened her eyes. "Prophecy? What prophecy!" the bird-cat said after a pause. "What!? How did you know- Huh?! I-" the dragonet studered and then said: "how did you know about the prophecy?" said the hurt dragonet "um hello?" said ruby "oh um hi? I'm luna" said the dragon-cat who was named luna. "What is your name, Miss dragon?" ruby asked the dragon. "Twilight" the dragon responded. "And my name is Ari" said the bird-cat. "And.. and i can read minds."
