Twilight looked confused, because her left ear did not work. Ari gave her a glance and looked at the cats, and then she gasped. Ari read her mind. Oh no. This is how it ends. Twilight thought. "No it's not!!" Ari said loudly. "Luna.. Please hug me.." Ari said, scared of the cats."Ok.." said Luna, warmly hugging Ari. They kept hugging each other, getting tighter and tighter every minute. "um guys? They are coming our way.." Twilight told them. "GUYS THEY ARE COMING HERE!!" Twilight yelled back to catch their attention. Ari held Luna close to defend her. "AHHH!!!" Ruby said after one of the cats scraped Ruby's eye. "OH MY GOSH RUBY! Healing!" Ari said. But there was no time for healing. there was a heartbeat before they started fighting. Left, and right there were scars all over everyone! Then one of the cats came to Luna and Ari. The cat looked confused, and they leaped on top of Ari. "AHHHH!!!" Ari yelped. Ari tried to flap away but she was just stuck. Luna looked terrified.
"Please help Luna.." Luna fought away the cats then stumbled onto Ari. Terrified, Luna flapped her wings in the cat's face. Then Luna scratched the cat with her claw and the cat yelped, then retreated. Ari was safe now, because she flew into a high tree. Luna went to help the others. Ruby had been pinned to the ground like Ari had been, and was trying to get free. Twilight was fighting the other cat, which looked like the dragonet was going to win, after all, she had venom. The venom hit the cat, and he ran away. Luna had gone to help Ruby while Toad was doing nothing. After the last cat had ran away, Ari flew back down to the others. They all sighed, then exchanged glances. After a long bit of silence, Ari said: "Um guys, can me and Luna have some time to talk? Like, alone?" Luna nodded and looked at Twilight and Ruby. They nodded back and went to go get food. After they got food they went to the cave to rest, and eat, and put bandages on their wounds. Then after a pause, Ari and Luna sat down. It was almost sunset, surprisingly, but it was beautiful. Ari leaned in and so did Luna. The sun went down and they smiled. For the rest of the night, they snuggled together on moss in the cave. "Midnight feast?" Ari asked. "I'M SO DOWN!" said Luna. They snacked throughout the night, eating berries and nuts. Twilight walked in. "Uh.. what are you doing? It's like midnight!" Twilight said in a half whisper voice. Ari looked at Luna. "Come on guys go to sleep, it is so late! I'm only awake because- well because-'' Twilight said, but then Ari interrupted her by saying "you were going to sleep in the cave. I get it." I forget she can read minds.. You're probably reading my mind right now aren't you? Twilight thought and then said: "well yeah but see you in the morning." Luna and Ari exchanged glances after she went farther in the cave to sleep. After a couple of minutes Ruby came in too so she could sleep in the cave. Ari and Luna went to sleep. "Luna.." Ari said in her sleep. She was dreaming about Luna and how she protected her that time from the cats. Together. Forever. I love you Luna.
