Kinsley's POV:

Why did Sam come to see me of all people? Does he likes me? No. What am I thinking? That's my brother's best friend.

"So why are you here?" I asked. It came off as rude but he did scare the living shit out of me.

"Uhm, rude. I wanted to see what you were up to so I could talk to you about what's been going on at school." Sam replied, putting his hand to his heart looking offended. I could tell he was joking but I genuinely started to feel bad.

"Sorry you just scared me. What do you mean talk about what's been going on at school?"

"I mean Taylor." He sighed, "She's still been harassing you and you still haven't told Colby yet."

"Like I told you before, I don't wanna tell Colby because he seems happy with her and I don't wanna ruin that" I sighed. What if I ruin his life by telling him what's been going on..

"He isn't happy with her!" Sam shouted

"What? But he is always smiling when she's around."

"How can you not tell the difference between his fake smile and real one." He seemed disappointed in me.

The more I thought about it the more I realized I don't know my brother at all.

"Hey guys what's going on? Sam, why are you here?" Colby said walking up the stairs walking into my bedroom.

"Colby, I need to talk to you." Sam said. Fuck fuck fuck. I wanna be the one to tell him I don't want him to know I came to Sam for advice.

"SAM!!!" I started to freak out at this point. "Colby, Taylor has been bullying me, I didn't wanna tell you because you seemed happy, I told Sam and he made me realize that you're not actually happy with her." I rambled.

"SHE WHAT?" Colby screamed. "I knew something was up. I'm going over there right now anyway. It was to hang out but now it's to break up with her"

"I'm sorry Colbs.." I said now crying

"Don't be, I have never been happy with her. I was really only with her for the popularity." He came over and hugged me.

"I love you Colbs." I sighed

"I love you too baby sis" He replied, tightening the hug. "I'll be back"

"See now was that so hard" Sam snickered

"Oh shush." I giggle, for the first time realizing how much I truly like this man...
