Kinsleys Pov:

*Bell rings*

As I'm walking through the school hallway, heading to lunch, Taylor stopped me. Taylor is Colby's girlfriend and the most popular girl in school. Little does Colby know his girlfriend likes to bully me.

"Hey fatty, you seen Colbs anywhere?" Taylor said while her minions Allison and Addison snickered.

"No I don't keep tabs" I said shortly.

"Okay well I figured I'd inform you that I'm coming over for dinner tonight."

"k" I said as I walked away.

Taylor? Coming to my house? Why me? I knew there was nothing I could do about it, my parents loved Taylor and so did all of my siblings. I kept walking while preparing myself for the worse. I bumped into someone while spacing off. Sam. Oh great. Just who I wanted to see today.

"Hey are you okay?" Sam asked

"Fine" I said and walked away.

I could feel him staring at me with a confused look on his face but I just went to my normal table in the corner and sat on my phone, not eating, not talking. Just sitting. Colby saw me and sat down by me. I put in my earbuds and ignored him. He just kept talking. Soon Sam came over and then Taylor and her damn minions. I got up and headed to my next class, I did not want to interact with any of them.

~Time Skip~

I finally got home from school and prepare for the torture I was about to get from Taylor when Colby wouldn't be around. Right as I walked into my room I heard the front door open. Colby and Taylor.

"I'm home and I brought Taylor and Sam!!" Colby yelled

Sam too? Tonight is going to be hell. I was listening to music and cleaning my room up when I heard a knock on the door.

"GO AWAY!" I yelled thinking it was Colby or Taylor. To my surprise it wasn't either of them.

"It's sam"

"Uh come in?" he came into my room with a worried look on his face. "What's up?" I asked making sure he was okay.

"I was just coming to check on you. You seemed upset at school today." Sam said sweetly.

"I'm alright"

"Kinsley I know you're not"

"Ugh fine if I tell you, you can't tell Colby alright?"

"Deal"

"Taylor and her minions bully me every day. They call me fat and make fun of the acne. I don't know what to do, but I do know one of these days I'm gonna snap" I ranted, honestly forgetting who I was talking to.

"Oh. I'm sorry. Why haven't you told Colby?"

"Cuz he's happy."

"He still deserves to know."

"I know" I said looking down. I don't know what came over me but something about being able to open up to him made me feel good. I wish I could do this more but I don't have friends.

"You know you can always talk to me right?" Sam said while lifting my head up.

"No I can't, Colby would throw a fit" I said picking up a shirt from the floor.

"So, he doesn't have to know, here's my number." He grabbed my phone and put his number in my phone.

"oh, uh, thanks." I said and with that we were being called downstairs for dinner.

~at dinner~

"So Kinsley, why don't you have friends again?" Taylor stopped me on the stairwell. Why now?
