Beomgyu had broken free of yeonjun's tight grasp earlier when he went to school, waking yeonjun up early. He stood and sulked watching the humans go. He didn't care about fixing the whole merman thing as much as Hueningkai, but he had to admit the predator instinct was a growing problem for him. He came to land for friends and some literally dragged him from the sea with open arms. Was he that charming? He had quite the ego boost.
      The ego-boosted merman now sat in the kitchen. Everyone was at school and no one came from hueningkais room yet. He was bored. "I can cook food, maybe the smell will draw Hueningkai out to keep me company." He said to himself, pulling out beomgyus phone (which he had stolen earlier) he stared at it for a moment.
     'Do I know how to cook already? Have I used a phone before? I still don't even know if anything I 'know' is right.' He decided to shake his intruding thoughts and started navigating the phone as if by memory. Soon enough he had made a simple pot of rice with chicken. They can have some when they get back, aren't they late? We're they coming back?
      Soobin did wake up later for work since he didn't go to school, he had two part time jobs, nothing too busy just a resteraunt and a clothes store. He could manage those easy. Taehyun told Hueningkai this before they left last night. Taehyun said not to be shocked if soobin left later because he doesn't go to school.
      Hueningkai woke up early simply from a nightmare, but soobin was still there asleep. He had work didn't he?"Soobin-hyung?" Hueningkai nudged him. No response. "Hyung?hyung are you dead?" He rested his head on his chest to hear his heartbeat.
     "Are you trying to eat my heart?" Hueningkai shot up at soobins sudden words. "YAH! WHY ARE YOU SO HARD TO WAKE UP I WAS TRYING TO TELL YOU TO GET TO WORK!" huneingkais early screeching definitely wouldn't let him sleep. "Work?"soobin rubbed his eyes. "WORK OH WORK!!" he suddenly leaped from the bed and grabbed his phone to check the time. Hueningkai watched as he quickly fixed his bed Head in the mirror and grabbed his overnight bag, one shoe and one slipper on. "I'll see you later alright? Don't leave I'll be back!!" Soobin waved and left so sudden. Hueningkai laughed to himself. This clumsy human bunny just went to work like that, half awake, it was kind of cute.
     Yeonjun was very surprised when soobin came bolting past the kitchen, grabbing one of the four bowls he had obviously put out for the others and LEFT with it. "Work." Hueningkai walked out now and sat down. "Ahhh, jeez he could've at least said thanks for the food. Did you see how he left? Wahhh if I were his boss-" he stopped there and handed Hueningkai a bowl.
       "What's this?"
       "It's food. Eat up."
       "You made it?"
"No actually I figured out how to merman magically summon things." He leaned and ate his own serving. "WHAT REALLY WE CAN DO MAGIC???!" Hueningkai didn't catch the sarcasm. Yeonjun sighed. "Yes I made it jeez the ocean hasnt stolen my obvious talent for cooking." Hueningkai looked momentarily dissapointed but ate his bowl.
"So what do we do while the humans are gone?"

       "OH MY GOD WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY'RE GONE???" Beomgyu was frantically checking the house after soobin had told him. "I mean they're gone!! Not here!! Disappeared!"soobin said from the couch, he had already checked the house a million times. "They didn't even leave a note? They have to be real otherwise not all of us would remember meeting them!" Taehyun looked sad.
     Soobin and Taehyun stopped beomgyu from his searching, assuring they weren't in the building. "Why would they suddenly just leave?" Beomgyu brushed back his hair, stressing out. Beomgyu thought that having the Mermen there was awesome, finally something fun and interesting, and when they turned in their discovery, yeonjun and Hueningkai would be fixed and happy, they'd be rich, and the five of them could live out an epic life like in the dramas he watched. He had already got so excited having mythical friends that he had planned their future. They seemed happy here, why would they leave they hadn't been cured? Would they leave when they were cured?
   Taehyun noticed his distress and put a hand on his shoulder. "We're upset too,maybe they'll come back they have to go in the salt water every two days or they die remember?" He gave a reassuring smile. Soobin perked up at this as well. At first he was scared of the Mermen and very very surprised at meeting Mermen alone, but anyone would think having two awesome Mermen as friends was pretty amazing. He was probably just dreaming and he would wake up and the whole merman meeting would be a dream, just like he expected.
