The weather got colder in England after halloween, snow hitting the ground quicker than you can say christmas making the flat colder than ever. Audrey stood decorating the tree she forced Fred to buy in one of her sweaters Molly made.

A smile was on the girl's face, even though she hadn't spent much time outside she loved christmas it always seemed to cheer her up. "Looks nice, just needs a star." Lorelei said, appearing in the living room scarring the blonde.

"Bloody hell you scared me, what are you doing here?" Audrey asked, making Lorelei smile, putting her bag down. "Tomorrow's christmas? So i'm spending the night.'' Lorelei said, walking to the kitchen making hot chocolate for the girls. Audrey smiled following the girl.

Grabbing her mug from Lorelei, Audrey sat down at the table Lorelei followed. "Just like old times?" Audrey asked, adding marshmallows making Lorelei roll her eyes grabbing the bag from the girl. "Just like old times, jeez ad's still so many marshmallows.'' Lorelei grumbled, adding some to her own mug.

Audrey shrugged a bashful smile on her face. "Not that I mind but why are you staying the night? I get it for old times but explain yourself lor." Audrey said watching the brunette roll her eyes. "Because every christmas we've been together since our first year, what best friend would i be if i wasn't here this year especially after well.. You know." Lorelei stated making Audrey nod.

"Okay well, help me decorate the tree and wrap gifts then we can watch christmas movies?" Audrey said, making Lorelei smile. "You bet, I always bought matching Christmas pajamas.. Lee told me it was a good idea!"

Groaning Audrey sat on the toilet watching Lorelei rinse her hair. "Can't believe I let you dye your hair again.." Audrey grumbled, making Lorelei laugh. "Cheer up its for the holidays!" Lorelei said, making Audrey shake her head smiling at her best friends back.

No matter how many times the two hung out each time was exciting, the two could be silent doing nothing and Audrey would feel happy and content. "When do the two idiots get done working?" Lorelei asked, staring at herself in the mirror a frown on her face.

"In about two hours, why?" Audrey asked, raising a brow at her friend. "I'm cutting my hair." Lorelei said, making Audrey laugh at her friend. "I'll get the scissors from the kitchen." the blonde said leaving them room hearing a faint "thank you."

Looking in the mirror Audrey cringed. Both her and Lorelei were wearing red pants and a red shirt that had santa on them. "I hate it." Lorelei said, making Audrey nod in agreement. "But it's christmas, take a photo?" Lorelei said, making Audrey giggle, rushing to her room grabbing her wand and camera.

The two smiled at the camera then made funny faces knowing it was the special camera that let the photos move. Smiling at the photos Audrey put them in her room. "Movie time?" "fuck yes bitch."

Audrey felt someone shaking her shoulders forcing the girl awake. "Merry christmas." Fred said, smiling at the girl. Audrey's eyes widened looking around seeing a deep asleep lorelei cuddle up next to the girl. "Did we-" "fall asleep during the movie on the couch, yes." Fred said quietly, laughing.

The girl couldn't help but laugh with him stirring the girl next to her awake. "Shut up." Lorelei mumbled, opening her eyes a little. "It's Christmas lor." Audrey said, making Lorelei sit up straight. "Youre fucking kidding me! I had shit planned, we were going to make cookies and stay up till midnight then sleep boo." Lorelei complained.

Audrey smiled, "we have next year now let's open presents and get ready to go to mollys!" the girl said, standing up and going to the tree. "What lovely pajamas." Fred said, smirking making Lorelei glare at the boy "shut it weasley i'll burn your hair off." "she will!"

Dinner at mollys wasn't as entertaining or happy as it was the past years. At the table there was Fred, George, Audrey, Lorelei, Ginny, Remus, Tonks, Arthur and molly. The group knew bill and fleur were with fleur's family while ron harry and hermione were out doing what they needed to stop the war.

"Well, can i just say i'm happy we are together and safe, let's eat up then sit by the fire yes?" Molly said, making everyone smile and nod. "Thanks again Molly for inviting us." Remus said, making Molly smile, "oh it's nothing the more the merrier!" Molly said, making Audrey squeeze Fred's hand.

After dinner Fred sat outside with Audrey to two embracing on the steps as if Audrey was to go home after. "Here, I waited to give it to you." Audrey said, handing a box to Fred who furrowed his brows. Slowly the boy opened the box.

Inside was a bracelet a little fox and bee on it making Fred smile at it. Audrey stared at the boy waiting for a reaction. "I love it but what do they-" "i'm the bee, you're the fox! I thought it was cute." Audrey said making fred coo at the girl. "Wait how did-" "Lorelei took me.." Audrey said, smiling sheepishly.

"I love it, and I love you." Fred said, putting it on and putting the box in his back pocket.  "And I love you." Audrey said, watching Fred lean down and pulling her in for a kiss.

It was slow but also quick, making Audrey frown when he pulled away. "Come on it's too cold out here, unless you want to freeze?" Fred asked, making Audrey look out into the snow remembering all the times she'd stay outside freezing just to be in it. "Yeah, let's go."
