This is my Entry for the Apprentice Graphic Contest hosted by TheWritersClan . Let's see if I have a chance.

This cover took a total of two hours for designing. First, I added the girl to the winter background and gave her the cloak from the other girl. This took a long time because I had to cut a lot and then for her right sleeve (on the left from your perspective) I had to copy the other sleeve, rotate it and cut it out. Next, I added the flower and erased it in a way so that it goes under her hand and it looks like she's holding it. And then I took the flame and placed it so that it looks like the rose is on fire.

This is how it looked then:

I took this image and went on to Procreate where I drew the glitter, the highlights, the glow around her and her glowing eyes. This made it look like this:

After that, I added the text. The Fonts used are β€žEndor" for the title and β€žEndor Alt" for my name.

As it still looked ... well, boring, I went to Photoshop Express and added a vignette and many effects, until it looked like it looks on the cover at the top now.

I am really proud of this cover. It took ages but it turned out really good, if I may say so.

Anyway, do you like it?
Love, Amy
