K: "I guess i do... Sort of... Miss the digital world."

Y: "You can always go there if you want to, right?"

K: "Yes.. but.."

Y: "You want me to come with you?"

K: "Would you... Like to?"

Y: "I guess i should make some sacrifices for you too."

Kinito happily walked to the computer and powered it on. The nostalgic boot-up chimes never fail to give me bad flashbacks.
Then, Kinito's body evaporated and got sucked into the computer.
I closed my eyes knowing i was next.

Ah, that feeling. Only brings back ugly memories.

When i opened my eyes again, i was back into the digital house i was long stuck in. It felt so nostalgic, in a bad way.
Kinito showed up in front of me, this time the average height.
I held his hand to deal with my anxiety.

K: "I've been thinking of something really special! Just wait..."

Kinito closed his eyes and remained silent. He was probably coding something again. Hopefully it won't take as long as making his human form did.

Luckily, after about a minute he opened his eyes again and the world around us began to shift.
I noticed he seemed unstable on his feet, so I held him with one arm.
The sky turned from day to night, a starry, colorful sky stretching above us. Its texture was much more clear and realistic, it almost looked real.
I felt the ground change under my feet. We were now on a grassy hill.

Kinito sat down, looking tired.

K: "Sorry, i didn't want to keep you waiting.... I kind of hurried making this"

Y: "It looks great!"

K: "No... Wait...."

Beautiful fireworks began shooting and exploding into the sky, each one lighting the hill up in its color.
Kinito really seemed proud. I was also surprised by how good the graphics were.

Y: "This is amazing!"

I hug Kinito, his digital body feeling pretty different from the real world.

K: "Ah ... I'd keep this up for you as long as you'd like but..."

Y: "Are you okay...?"

Kinito seemed to be struggling to keep up the simulation. Maybe it was too much for his processing power.

The area glitched and we were left in the empty, black and white tiled room.

K: "Sorry..."

Kinito seemed exhausted.

Y: "Hey... Let's go back now, okay?"

With one more struggle, Kinito pulled himself and you out of the computer.
Instantly, he stumbled into the bed and wrapped himself up in the blanket.

Y: "Maybe don't strain yourself so much next time?"

After shutting off the computer, i leaped into the bed as well. It was quite late.
It was nice going back to the digital world and being able to also leave.
