"Despite this being my last time as a senior, I have to admit that I will miss you," I teasingly said, playfully punching Mj while Ren stood with his pockets, smiling at our banter, other students were taking photos amongst themselves, while it was just us three.

Meanwhile, they were talking to Kanning as she held flowers. I received a text message from Gorya saying that she was out with someone named Talay. Talay? There is not anyone I know who goes to school with that name.

Kanning said his name, and as I eavesdropped on their conversation, my eyes narrowed in suspicion. There was this feeling inside me that something wasn't right. I couldn't shake off the sense of unease as I observed Kanning's demeanor and the way he held the flowers. It seemed like there was more to this interaction than met the eye.

Hours later...

Me and Ren went shopping. Surprisingly, he suggested it first. As we headed into the stores, I picked out a few things I liked and decided to try on.

I couldn't help but notice Ren's peculiar behavior throughout our shopping excursion. He seemed distracted, his gaze constantly wandering, as if searching for something or someone. It was as if he was hiding something, and it only intensified my suspicion. As I tried on the clothes in the fitting room, I couldn't help but wonder if Ren's sudden interest in shopping was merely a distraction, a way to divert my attention from whatever he was involved in with Kanning. The unease that had been gnawing at me all day only grew stronger, fueling my determination to uncover the truth.

I knew I had to be careful, though. Ren was clever, always one step ahead, and I couldn't afford to make any hasty moves. I decided to play along, pretending to be oblivious to his peculiar behavior. But deep down, I was formulating a plan, piecing together the fragments of information I had gathered so far. As I stepped out of the fitting room, I caught a glimpse of Ren through the racks of clothes, his expression unreadable. It was time to confront him, to demand answers, and to put an end to this cat-and-mouse game.

As I stepped out of the dressing room in a vibrant red dress, Ren's eyes widened in surprise. "Wow, that looks amazing on you," he said, his voice filled with genuine admiration. A small smile tugged at the corners of my lips, reassured by his compliment.I didn't notice his expression change.

Ren POV

As I stared at Juliette in front of me, a smile slowly spread across my face. She looked stunning in the vibrant red dress, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride knowing that I had chosen it. There was something in me that attracted me to her every movement and the way she carried herself. It was as if she effortlessly commanded attention, and I couldn't help but be captivated by her presence. The way her eyes sparkled with joy only intensified my admiration for her, and I found myself wanting to make her smile like that every day.

I don't know if it's different compared to how I felt with Mira. With Mira, there was a sense of comfort and familiarity that I had grown accustomed to. However, this new feeling with Juliette was something entirely different. It was as if she awakened a part of me that I didn't even know existed, leaving me curious and intrigued about what could possibly unfold between us.

Juliette POV

I looked towards Ren and stood in front of him. He seemed distracted by his thoughts. I bent down, flicked him on the forehead, and teasingly smiled at him.

"This is the part where you fall in love with me, isn't it?" I chuckled at my own comment as Ren looked at me with a mix of surprise and amusement. His eyes held a glimmer of something I couldn't quite decipher, making me even more intrigued by him.

"Just try on a different dress," Ren said, trying to divert his attention from the way Juliette was looking at him. Juliette raised an eyebrow at his suggestion, playfully challenging him. "Oh, so you think a different dress will make you fall in love with me again?" she retorted, a mischievous smile tugging at the corners of her lips.

Ren chuckled, a hint of warmth returning to his gaze as he realized she was teasing him back. "Well, it's worth a shot," he replied, his voice laced with amusement. "But I have a feeling it won't make a difference." Juliette tilted her head, and her curiosity piqued. "And why is that?" she asked, genuinely intrigued. Ren shrugged, a playful glint in his eyes.

"Because it's not the dress that made me fall in love with you in the first place," he said, his voice filled with sincerity. "It's everything else about you." Juliette couldn't help but blush at his words, feeling her heart flutter in response.

"Right, enough with the joking. Let's pay for these," Juliette responded as she took the dress he chose and found that it was already paid for.

Juliette looked up at Ren to find him smiling up at the ceiling as if he was trying to make it seem it wasn't him who paid for it.

As both Ren and Juliette walked outside, Ren suddenly stopped to see a group of males, with one in the center wearing a blue and pink jacket. His eyes narrowed, and his smile faded as we both realized who it was. Ren took a photo, and as we stared at the photo, we looked up to see the group gone.

"Was it just me, or do those guys look like they're up to no good?" Juliette whispered to Ren with concern as Ren nodded in reply. We sent the photo to both Mj and Kavin, and I immediately notified Sunghoon and his men to keep a close eye on them.

I was heading to the parking lot when I suddenly heard a loud noise. It sounded like thyme. I immediately rushed towards the sound and hid behind the pillar. I watched how the guy purposely

She fell to the ground and started yelling for help, attracting attention.

I got my phone out and recorded the whole scene before Gorya came with a security guard and started yelling at Thyme.

It seemed like a deliberate act to cause a distraction or create chaos. I quickly took out my phone and discreetly recorded the scene, making sure to capture any suspicious behavior from the other individuals nearby.

I walked up to the scene with a smirk and stood in front of Gorya.

"Juliette?" Gorya and Thyme both turned to look at me in surprise. "What are you doing here?" Gorya asked, her voice filled with suspicion.

I took a deep breath and calmly replied, "I saw what happened and thought I should intervene."

"To be honest, it's sad to see you defend someone who clearly doesn't deserve it," Gorya said, her tone dripping with sarcasm. I maintained my composure and responded, "Everyone deserves a fair chance to be heard and understood. It's not about defending someone, but rather seeking the truth."

"But Thyme," Gorya interrupted, her voice laced with frustration. "You always try to see the good in people, even when they've proven themselves to be deceitful. It's naive, and it puts you at risk." I said, staring coldly at the guy behind her.

Juliette stared at him as if noticing his every move, her eyes boring into his, like a predator stalking its prey. Her intense gaze made him visibly uncomfortable, and he shifted uneasily under her scrutiny. Everyone could sense the tension in the room escalating.

I walked up to Gorya and placed a hand on her shoulder before leaning in and whispering in her ear, "Be careful who you trust." Gorya turned to face me, her eyes wide with curiosity and a hint of fear. She nodded slowly, acknowledging the weight of my words. As I stepped back, the room fell into an uneasy silence, the air thick with suspicion and uncertainty.

I took Thyme's hand and walked away from the situation. "You stupid, don't you think you should think about hitting someone?" I hit him on the head playfully, trying to lighten the mood. Thyme chuckled and rubbed his head, playfully retaliating with a gentle push.

"Juliette-"Thyme nervously said before I cut him off, knowing exactly what he was going to say. "Don't," I said softly, my voice filled with understanding. "You're getting married to a girl who treats you well. But remember Thyme? You deserve to be with someone who not only treats you well but also makes you truly happy." I looked into his eyes, hoping he would understand the sincerity behind my words. Thyme nodded a mixture of gratitude and sadness evident in his expression.

I patted his back and gave him a slight smile before I left him, searching for Sunghoon to pick me up.

"Thank you, Juliette," he whispered, his voice filled with a hint of regret, staring at her retreating figure. Meanwhile, Lita stood there, replaying her words in her head.

The next day, the boys were getting ready for the prom. Suddenly they received messages of Gorya receiving a red card, Me and Ren went over to the school auditorium to find Gorya in a pool of water. She looked past out.

"Gorya!" I yelled, tears welling up in my eyes.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Please, please be alive," I pleaded, my voice trembling as I kneeled beside Gorya's motionless body. Panic surged through me as I tried to assess the situation, desperately hoping for any signs of life. Ren, his face pale and stricken, rushed to call for help while I frantically checked for a pulse. The weight of the moment pressed heavily on my chest, and my mind was racing with a million thoughts and fears. How did this happen? What could have caused Gorya to end up like this? And most importantly, would she be okay?

I looked towards the group of boys, who seemingly looked guilty. I stared at them with a mix of anger and suspicion, searching their faces for any hint of involvement. The air around us crackled with tension as if the truth were just waiting to be uncovered. My hands trembled as I clenched them into fists, ready to confront them about what they knew.

The seconds stretched into an agonizing eternity, each passing moment amplifying my desperation for answers. Finally, unable to bear the silence any longer, I took a step toward the boys, determined to get to the bottom of this mystery.

"You just made me your worst enemy," I hissed through gritted teeth, my voice laced with a mix of anger and determination. The boys exchanged nervous glances, their eyes widening with the realization that they had underestimated the depth of my resolve. I could see the fear flicker across their faces, but it only fueled my determination further. I had spent far too long being pushed around, dismissed, and underestimated. It was time to take a stand and show them what a true Va Doren is.

With each step I took, the weight of my anger grew heavier, propelling me forward with an unwavering determination. The boys stumbled backward, their earlier confidence crumbling in the face of my unwavering resolve. They fell onto the floor with a loud thud, their expressions now filled with a mix of shock and realization. I stood tall, my eyes locked on theirs.

They were on their knees, pleading for mercy, their voices trembling with fear. But I had no intention of granting them any leniency. It was time for them to understand the consequences of hurting my friends.

With one quick motion, I kicked one of the boys in the stomach, causing him to double over in pain. The other boy's eyes widened as he watched his friend writhe on the floor, realizing that their actions had come with a price they hadn't anticipated. The others were soon passed out on the floor, blood trickling from their noses and mouths. I stood over them, a mix of anger and satisfaction coursing through my veins. It was a harsh lesson, but one they would never forget. As I walked away with Ren and Gorya in his arms, I couldn't help but hope that they would think twice before causing harm again.ย

A few minutes later, we made it to Rens's car.

"Ren, make sure she gets to the hospital as soon as possible," I urged, concerned about her well-being.

He nodded before getting in the car with Gorya and driving away. I headed to my car and got out the keys, which, stupidly, I fumbled and dropped.

As I picked my keys up, I saw in my window reflection a group of males. Suddenly, it was all black.

A ring was all heard as a male picked up her phone and placed it on the shelf. He placed the phone in his pocket and stared at the woman.

"If we can't have Gorya, Princess is the next best thing," he said with a sinister smile, staring at Juliette. As he took off his hoodie, a group of males stood behind him.

"Let's move onto the next plan"
