Y/n got home a bit later than desired, putting the soaked umbrella in the porch closet and hanging her f/c coat on the wooden coat hanger.

'I guess I'll open up the note...' She thought to herself.

As y/n unfolded the note, her reaction was dull. "His number?" She whispered underneath her soft breath. As she typed the numbers into her phone, she yawned.

Hey, is this Norman?

Yeah! Glad you got home safe. :)

She hated how he used that stupid emoji.

Yeah. Anyways why'd you want to text?

Y/n could really care less for what Norman had to say. She didn't like him, so she couldn't understand why he proceeded to annoy her and continuously make attempts to be her friend.

Oh, I don't know. Just thought it would
be nice to talk every once and a while.

She shut her phone off, rolling her eyes, and walked into the kitchen. Quietly opening the door to the pantry, the h/c-haired girl grabbed a can of her favorite soup. Looking at the time on the stove, it read 9:42 PM.

"I wonder where dad is?" She mumbled to herself as she poured f/s into one of the cheap white glass bowls. She walked into her room stepping on the creaky floorboards. It seemed like every step she took the wooden planks would let out a cry, a moan, a creak. She gently sat onto her bed, careful to not spill her meal. She quickly grabbed her tv remote and switched on her favorite show. Throughout her laughter at the show, she finished her soup and placed the empty dish on her nightstand.

Beep, Beep, Beep,

As her alarm went off her hand immediately flung over attempting to turn it off as her eyes were still shut tight. Today was Tuesday, less than a week before the summer break. She rolled out of her comfy bed and quickly changed into brown jeans and a black crop top. Walking downstairs she saw fresh fruit and fluffy pancakes assorted neatly on the wooden table.

"Morning sweetie!" Her dad said warmly placing freshly cooked eggs on a plate.

"Good morning!" The e/c-eyed girl said yawning, taking a juicy apple out of the fruit bowl in the center of the table.

"Can you do me a huge favor and pick up your sister from school today? I have a long meeting after work." He asked putting a plate of eggs on the brown table.

"Yeah sure, but can't she just walk with a friend?" She said through a sigh placing different foods on her breakfast plate.

"Y/n, remember your sister is only 8. She's not old enough to be walking with friends." Before the h/c-haired girl could say anything her father interjected. "Even if she walked, we live about a 10-minute drive away from their elementary, so if you were walking it would be about 20."

"Yeah yeah," she sighed finishing up her food and placing the dirty plate in the sink. Unfortunately, she would have to walk to get her sister since y/n failed her driver's test and hasn't got the chance to re-take it.

- School

Y/n walked into the building pulling her schedule out of her organized backpack and examined it slowly walking down the crowded hall. You'd think that by now she would've had it memorized since she's been attending the same classes for months.

She mumbled quietly, "Social studies, health-" She was cut off by bumping into someone and dropping her paper. "Er, sorry." The girl spoke quietly before looking up at who the culprit had been. "Norman?" She stared at the albino blankly.

"Oh, y/n! I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." Norman exclaimed as he bent down to pick up the paper the h/c-haired girl had dropped.

"Thanks," She replied quickly taking the paper from his hands, staring at the ground.

"I better get going. I have Mr. Tsukishima for the first period and he'll be pissed if I don't arrive on time." He spoke before walking off with a smile.

"Mhm, see ya." She stifled back an insult.

It was now lunchtime, which meant there were two more classes left of the day. She walked gripping the sides of her food tray making her way over to f/n. y/n took a seat beside her friend.

"Hey hey hey!" Said the friend before stealing a few fries from the h/c-haired girl's tray and dipping them in an open ketchup pack laying on the table.

"Hey, how was your day? We didn't have any classes together today." y/n said getting settled in her uncomfortable seat.

"It was okay, we have science together after lunch." f/n said eating her chicken nuggets.

"Oh, what's your last class?" The e/c-eyed girl asked patiently.

"Health, how about you?"

"Math," y/n said while finishing up her food. She stood up and walked towards the garbage cans, attempting to throw away her trash.

"Excuse me, could you move?" A sort-of-familiar voice asked.

The h/c-head quickly turned around to see a tall raven-haired guy. "Oh, yeah sorry..." she quickly placed her blue tray onto one of the garbage's, where all the other trays were stacked poorly.

F/n walked over to y/n since they still had 10 more minutes left until lunch break was over. They walked to the school library, and since they worked there they could get easy access to the books in the back. "F/n, can you grab me that book, please?" The e/c-eyed girl said pointing to a book on the sixth shelf.

Y/n usually always asks f/n to do stuff like that, since f/n is a lot taller than y/n. "Thanks," Y/n said catching the book her friend tossed her.

Ring, ring,

"Well, there goes the bell." F/n said gently placing the book she was reading back onto the wooden shelf.

Y/n put her book into her f/c bag. They walked to class together and sat next to each other.

The h/c girl looked around the class and noticed Emma was also in their science class.

The ginger noticed someone was looking at her, so she smiled and waved lightly.

- Final period

Both girls waved goodbye, as y/n walked one way and f/n walked the other way.

"Ouch."

Y/n looked up to see the person she bumped into. "Norman?" She sighed.

"We have to stop meeting like this." The blue-eyed boy said with a smile plastered on his pale face, opening the door for math class.

"Do you have math too?" He asked softly.

'What's wrong with this guy, why is he always smiling?'

"Oh, um yeah." She said blinking.

He held the door open signifying for her to walk in.

Forcing a slight smile, she walked over and placed her bag next to her desk.

Her eyes widened when she saw the tall white-haired boy coming over to sit next to her.

'Oh great. Will he ever leave me alone?'

He smiled warmly and sat in his seat.

Y/n took out her math book and forced a small smile as the albino boy was still looking at her. She tried to focus and write down all the stuff from the board to her grey and white notebook. The h/c girl looked back and forth from the whiteboard to her notebook that was lying open on her desk.

"Psst,"

Y/n turned around slowly looking for who called her name.

"Y/n, what are we writing down?"

Y/n focused her attention on who was talking to her. Of course, it was Norman.

"Uhm... just copy down what's on the board..."Β  She whispered with an obvious look on her face and slowly turned her focus back to her book.

"Oh, right thanks..." The blue-eyed boy said looking to the board.

"Dummy", she let out under her breath so no one other than her could hear. The e/c-eyed girl sighed before looking at the black and white clock hanging on the brick building.

'Great, only twenty more minutes.'

The rest of her time spent in class practically flew by. She stared at the clock waiting patiently for it to hit 2:45 pm.

*Ring, Ring, Ring,*

"Finally," she said forming a smile on her face. Y/n packed up her stuff and quickly walked out of the classroom. She left the school in excitement and started her walk home. Before y/n got home, she walked to the elementary school to pick up her younger sister.

Luckily for y/n, she only has work every Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday. So today she would be off and wouldn't have to call off just to pick up her annoying little sister. As she was walking, she kicked the tiny rocks laying on the sidewalk. Every step was a small kick to the pebbles.

'Ooo, isn't that the new bookstore? It just opened... maybe I should check it out.' She mumbled. 'I still have 10 minutes, since my little sister, Yuri has a soccer meet.'

She walked into the small brown store and walked around staring at the full shelves of books. "Oh my god! There are so many books!" Y/n quietly squealed under her breath. The girl had lost track of time, she had been in the store for 20 minutes without even knowing. As she finally walked out of the store she felt her phone vibrating, so she picked it up without looking at the name as she clicked the green button.

"Hello?" She spoke receiving a small "Hi," back in return.

"It's Norman, what's up? Anything new?" The cheerful boy spoke.

"Uhm, no. Now leave me alone I need to pick up my sister I'm late." The h/c girl said quickly hanging up and running down the street.

"MOVE! I'm LATE FOR MY SISTER MY DAD IS GOING TO KILL ME!" Y/n yelled running through a crowd of people.

'I made it, now where is she?' She thought moving her head in every direction, looking in every possible corner.

"AHA!" Y/n ran fast to the school door just in time to see her sister standing alone.

"Where were you y/n?!All my friends left about 20 minutes ago, you made me think you weren't coming!" Yuri said with a slightly mad look on her small face.

"Sorry, I lost track of time. Let's not tell dad about this okay?" Y/n said catching her breath.

As they started walking home, the h/c girl got a call.

"Hellooo, Y/n!"

"Norman? Is something wrong with you? Why do you keep calling me." Y/n said rolling her eyes.

"You should be thanking me, I just picked up your sister, so you don't have to rush. Where would you like me to meet you?" The blue-eyed boy said sounding proud of himself.

"What do you mean? I have my sister right here?" Y/n said in confusion before her eyes went wide. "Wait... WHO DID YOU PICK UP? DID YOU JUST KIDNAP A KID? WHERE ARE YOU? WHOSE KID IS THAT?" She threw as many questions to Norman as fast as she could.

"YOU'RE TELLING ME THIS ISN'T YOUR SISTER?" Norman yelled starting to panic.

"Okay, where are you? Let's meet up!" Y/n whisper shouted through her teeth.

"I'm at the gas station two blocks from the middle school! Where are you?" He spoke loudly.

"WHAT! HOW ARE YOU THAT FAR AWAY FROM THE ELEMENTARY?" She yelled still in a panic.

"Okay, okay, stay there! I'll come as fast as I can!" Y/n said into the phone grabbing her sisters hand and running.

"OKAY!" The albino yelled hanging up.

"Y/n slow down! Where are we going!" Yuri let out trying to catch her breath.

"Sorry, Yuri. But this is an emergency. Just keep running as long as you can." The h/c girl said while still running.

"Y/n! I can't run anymore!" The little brown-eyed girl said letting go of y/n's hand and sitting down on the sidewalk.

Y/n turned around and stared at Yuri for a minute, then put out her hand as a signal for Yuri to grab it. "Sorry, Yuri. Would you like to ride on my back? There's not much longer left." Y/n said forming a light smile on her pale lips.

Yuri turned her head to look up at y/n holding out her hand. Yuri then smiled and grabbed her hand. Y/n bent down to signal for Yuri to hop on. The small brown-eyed girl let out lots of giggles as y/n tried to keep running.

"Finally! I see the gas station!" Y/n said starting to slow down and walk still carrying Yuri on her back.

"Okay, you can get off now." The e/c-girl said squatting down so the little girl on her back could get off.

'Where is he, I swear if he ran off somewhere-' Before y/n could finish her trail of thoughts, she was interrupted by bumping into a hard figure. "Y/n, y/n, y/n. If you really want a hug you could just ask me instead of bumping into me all the time." Y/n quickly looked up to see the yet familiar face. And yeah, it was Norman.

"I- what, where's the kid?" Y/n quickly said avoiding the situation.

Before anyone could say anything else, y/n's phone started ringing. 'Huh, who could this be.' Y/n mumbled as she didn't recognize the number.

She clicked the green button to hear a voice she had heard before.

"Hello! It's Emma, from class. You might not know me, or I might not know you. But, does Norman happen to be with you right now?" The high-pitched voice said.

"Uh- Yes. Norman is with me, why are you asking?" Y/n said in a questioning voice.

"Okay, so, me Ray, I'm pretty sure you two have met, and Norman we're sitting in the student lounge, right? And then, Norman walked out of the room to 'call someone.' Keep in mind, that there's this girl I babysit, and I was asked to pick her up from her elementary school. Anyways, continuing on, all of a sudden, Norman said that he was going to pick up your little sister. I was kind of surprised because you let off an impression you didn't like him and I also didn't know Norman knew you had a younger sister. Anyways, back to the story. It was time for me to leave and go pick up the girl, which her name is Sara. When I got to the school she was GONE. I knew Norman was going to the school to pick up your little sister, so I was planning on calling him, but I don't have his number and when you we're asleep in class the other day, I may or may not have taken your phone and added my number to your contacts. Could you please ask Norman if he has seen a little girl, blond hair, green eyes, and light freckles?" Emma said like she was desperate.

Y/n stayed silent for a few seconds before she slowly turned around to see Norman, Yuri, and a blond-haired girl with green eyes and freckles staring at her confused.
