[ she is so fired ]

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐚𝐭 𝐮𝐩, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐮𝐢𝐭. "Damn. What a bitch," Alex scoffed, holding her hand to her chest.

You glanced over at Nat as she took hold of the crushed bullet. Thank Charlie for these bulletproof vests.

Suddenly, the sprinklers shot from the ground and started shooting out water, and you sneered, shaking your head. Slowly, you and the girls stood, beginning to make your way to the car as you spoke, "You guys, we have to outthink Madison."

"It's like no matter what we do, she's always two steps ahead of us," Natalie fumed.

"She's selling the list of tonight, at 8:00," Alex reminded.

"But where?" Dylan questioned.

"Y/N, what else did Carter say?" the black-haired girl asked you, and you racked your brain for a moment.

"Okay. 'Take the stars beyond the galaxy'," you recited.

"I think it's safe to say it's on this planet," Dylan muttered.

"'Take shore to hope, and stop on a stair'," you continued.

"Well, there's a Hope Street downtown," Alex informed.

"But no shore for miles," Dylan interjected, shooting down the idea.

Suddenly, Nat stopped you and the angels. "A stair... a stair!" Natalie then began to dance, shooting out her arms and legs as you shared a concerned glance with the girls. "Astaire! Astaire!"

"Possible concussion," you assumed.

"I'm worried," Dylan said.

"You guys, the stars. Hollywood Walk of Fame. Beyond the Galaxy Theatre. There's Dinah Shore, Bob Hope and Fred Astaire," Nat exasperated, looking at each of you.

"Nice Nat," Alex congratulated as Dylan slapped her butt. She bumped hips with you and you continued your walk to the car. But suddenly, a hiss sounded, and a frown grew on your face before the car suddenly burst into the sky, fire engulfing the vehicle as the force of the explosion knocked you and the angels back to the ground.

Your limbs wrapped with theirs, tangled and sore, as Dylan snapped her head up. "I think she's trying to kill us," she bluntly stated.

The girls untangled themselves, and as Alex held out a hand to you, she gasped as you slipped your fingers in her. "Oh my God, Y/N!" she exclaimed, pointing at you.

"What? Am I bleeding?" you asked, frantically checking yourself.

You then heard Natalie gasp and Dylan breath out, "No way."

"Y/N!" Alex yelled, causing you to turn back to them, finding them with the largest grins you have ever seen to grace their faces. "The ring!"

"Dallas proposed?"

Your eyes widened as you glanced down at the ring. "Yeah, he did. Last night," you replied, a grin curving at your lips.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Nat asked.

"I just didn't get around to it. I mean, with Dylan going missing, and then Carter, and then the whole Madison thing, I guess I didn't wanna distract you guys from this," you shrugged. The girls shared a look before crushing you in an angel group hug.

"No ex-Angel, or me going missing, will ever distract us from our best friend getting engaged," Dylan said, and you felt the waterworks spring to your eyes. The angels let go, holding onto your arms as they cooed at your tearful state.

"Thanks, you guys. I love you, Angels," you mumbled.

"We love you too," Alex said with a smile.

"Now, let me see the diamond!" Nat grasped your hand in hers, letting out an excited squeal. "It's beautiful, Y/N/N!"

"God, that must've cost Dallas a fortune," Dylan chuckled, taking your hand from Nat's.

"It's perfect for you," Alex said, hugging your shoulders.

After executing her plan, you and the girls walked out of the shadows, where Madison watched from the telescope you planted for her, observing as the FBI and Wixon arrested the major crime groups from another building. You were decked out in black, as you wore a pinstripe set, complete with a buttoned vest and skirt, with low-calf white socks and platform black heels.

"The Kleinhardt gambit. Classic," Madison said.

"And apparently, still effective," you spoke up from behind her. When she turned, she thrust out her guns, ready to shoot you again but Nat kicked them out of her grasp, pulling her hands back. You and Alex caught the guns, quickly unloading them and tossing them to the side.

"You know, we never used to wear Kevlar, till I took three in the chest-."

"On the DeSoto case! We know!" you all snapped in unison, shutting her up.

She smirked, and as you moved forward, she pulled a long stick with a gleaming red button on top. "Oops," she said, and you stopped short. "Don't tell me you forgot about... Plan B."

Madison pressed the button, and you snapped your gaze towards a bomb that made an alert sound. There were a couple that were strapped in various places, and you shared a look with Natalie when the door rapidly burst open. Seamus O'Grady shot two bullets into the sky, before aiming it at Dylan. "I'd recognize that arse anywhere, you piece of shit!"

He shot, but you and the angels dodged, running over to the large letter sign that had the hotel's name on it. You climbed through the bars, reaching near the top as Seamus and his gang fired at us. Looking over at Natalie, you found her facing off against Madison. Knowing that she could handle herself, you dispersed with Alex as you both began fighting off the mobsters that circled you.

You sent a punch to one of their faces, sending the man stumbling back. With a swift push, he was falling over the railing. You felt a hand grip your shoulder, and you grabbed it, letting out a furious yell and flinging them over your shoulder, as they met the same fate as the first mobster.

You spun around, eyes widening as a gasp escaped your lips at the sight of the Thin Man, spoke leaving his lips as he breathed heavily. Tossing the cigarette, he anticipated your attacks, dodging and halting each punch or kick you sent him way. Suddenly, he reached into his belt, and the sheathing of metal had you looking down where he revealed a thin sword. As he aimed it towards you, he had barely missed your stomach. You heard a groan from behind, so you turned your gaze, discovering one of the mobsters that had been trying to sneak up on you. The Thin Man... saved your life?

You looked at him bewilderment when the groans of Dylan alerted both of you. You turned, finding her barely holding Seamus off. The Thin Man left you, going to save her and you nodded to yourself, returning your attention to Alex and the other gang associates.

As you glanced over your shoulder, your jaw dropped when you saw Dylan and the Thin Man making out. "What the hell?" you questioned. Alex heard you and followed your gaze, her expression soon mirroring yours. "She's got really... interesting tastes."

As you and Alex fought off the last member, you ran over to Natalie, helping the girl stand. Dylan walked over, and from the Thin Man's sudden absence and her saddened frown, you concluded that he was dead.

You glared over at Madison, just in time to see her press the button, the sudden ticking making you feel queasy. "The premiere should be a blast," Madison taunted, holding up a cylinder gadget. Then, she opened her arms, revealing a thin layer of cloth connecting from her shirt to her sleeves, and she jumped off the roof.

You and the girls were quick to follow, letting out an angered yell as you dropped from the building, the explosion sending a wave of heat against your backs. You had jumped over the string lights that were all over the structure.

Grabbing onto one, you swung your body forward, hiking your knees up as you rushed through the air, your grip tightening. "Bosley, Plan B!" you yelled.

"It's raining white women!" you heard him shout.

Madison tossed the bomb stick down to the red carpet, and you felt your heart drop. Dallas was down there, as well as Pete and Jason, and innocent people.

But Bosley came through, holding up one the golden bars that was used to separate the fans and let the actors and esteemed guests have an easy entrance. "Plan B stands for 'Plan Bosley'." He whacked the grenade away, sending it right back into the air. It exploded, the crowd gasping and pointing, assuming that it was merely part of the premiere.

You diverted your attention back to Madison, finding her jumping into a blue convertible. Nat landed in the passenger seat as you, Alex and Dylan hung onto the back. Nat and Madison threw punches, and you were quick to grab onto Madison's hair. She yelled in protest and Nat took this opportunity to knock her face in.

But the ex-angel was determined to pluck your wings, so she increased the speed, and rode over a white truck, sending the car swirling in the air. You saw Dylan lose her grip, and Natalie called out to the red-head. Then Alex careened next, smashing through the glass of a nearby storefront. Finally, you screamed as you were tossed back into the air, landing back first against someone's car. The woman driving shrieked, pressing the brakes. The sudden stop sent you lurching forward onto the road.

You felt your vision growing hazy, and all you wanted was to curl up into a ball and sleep. The pain was killing you. But you couldn't give up now. You slowly stood, beginning to limp past some bystanders who came to check on you, but all you did was send a quick thanks and follow the destructive path.

You saw Alex run out of the store, eyes locking onto your limping figure, and she hugged you in relief. You patted her back, when you heard Dylan's familiar boots clicking against the floor. She joined the hug, and for a moment, you all relished in the face that you were alive.

Then, you took off in a sprint, running into the theatre where the blonde and the ex-angel were. You stepped around the destroyed blue car, and you and the girls slowly ascended towards Madison and Natalie. The brunette held one of the golden guns to the back of Natalie's head, but she never flinched. You heard Natalie retort after Madison tried to convince her that she was bound to end up like her. "No, Madison, I'm nothing like you. I have something you'll never have." Madison cocked the gun, gripping her head and whispering in her ear.

"And what's that?"

"Friends."

That single word was cue for you to advance. Ropes in hand, you and the angels veered towards her as she spun around. Natalie then kicked her hand, the gun flying from her grasp. You and Dylan kicked Madison in the chest with your heels, sending her back as Alex choked her with her legs. She twisted them, a crunch sounding from Lee's neck, and Natalie swung her foot underneath her legs, causing her to fall.

Alex and Natalie repeated the action, Madison falling into a split. Then I sent a swift kick to her jaw, her head flying back. She was strong, you had to admit, as she crawled to her knees, glancing at her old gun and the rings. "Enjoy Heaven."

"Go to Hell," you spat.

She reached for the gun, and you leaped over to her, leg out. You kicked her back with enough force for her to fall through the planked flooring. She yelled as oil spilled from the broken pipe. In a last futile attempt, she shot another fire, and the fume from the bullet caused the oil to engulf in flames.

You stared down at the hole, heaving some much-needed breaths. "She is so fired." It was silent for a moment between the four of you, before a smile made its way to your lips as you shared a look, before giggles escaped you.
