Part 3

Darktail staggered into the camp of his Tribe. His deep wounds were bleeding profusely, one hind paw was deeply bitten through. - Where is the healer? - he asked. - He's in the nursery. One of our queens went into labor. And yet... today our healer received a prophecy! Something in the familiar voice of his leader, Windstar, made him go cold. - What is it? The herald asked softly. - Tiger and Flame... They will save the forest... the leader replied.- The same prophecy came to the Thunder Healer! Darktail screamed, jumping up on the spot. The leader rolled his eyes: - Really? -Yes! What can it mean? I probably know what a "Tiger" is, but then what is a "Flame"? Darktail wondered. - I don't know exactly what a "Flame" is, but you don't have to jump to conclusions with a "Tiger" either. If we make a mistake and announce what we have understood, then it may be a mistake, and we will risk incurring the wrath of the Star Tribe! Windstar replied thoughtfully.- That's right, replied the healer who came up. He said this behind Darktail's back, so that he even jumped in surprise. - We risk incurring the wrath of the star ancestors for a mistaken opinion. We don't want that, do we? We'd better wait if we don't want to make mistakes. - We don't have time to wait! The mighty Darktail squealed, hitting the healer on the fluffy cheek with his huge paw. The healer hissed, and with a strong blow knocked down the Darktail, and then pressed the herald to the ground.- Let go! The herald growled, throwing the healer away. The healer screamed, and rolled head over heels on the sandy ground, accidentally flying into the nursery. Someone screamed from there-apparently the queen. And then the hiss of the healer rolling on the ground again. As a result, the healer rolled right under the paws of the mighty Darktail, and he pressed him, and then let go. - S-thank you... the terrified healer stammered. - Please! the herald barked. - Can you patch up my wounds and explain the prophecy, or should I skin you?! - the irritable herald roared, and pushing the healer, went to his tent. - Don't be afraid, Vulture, my herald is just too irritable. Windstar apologized to the old healer, looking at the Darktail healer who entered the tent. "I can see that! The Vulture snorted contemptuously, and without even turning to the leader, went to his tent.
