Red's POV

I had traveled with Blue on her ship, my emotions a mess as I hid under a blank expression. Over the thousands of years, I've never grown anymore closer to any other Diamonds, my army of Gem's growing and growing until my Gem's were feared across the whole of Homeworld. I would never stop training them, not for a moment. They will forever be the protectors and the fighters of Homeworld, so that the Pink Diamond incident shall never again occur.

Blue, Yellow and White have all noticed my cold and distant change in character, and have all stayed away in hopes to let time heal what they deem as my 'broken heart'? Isn't that what all humans have? The humans she worshiped so much.. 'Pink, everything just seems to remind me of you..' I thought to myself as I turn away from sight, my Pearl resting her small hand on my own. This Pearl, is amazing.. She's helped me through everything loyally, and has always helped take over when I needed her to. The perfect Pearl.

Suddenly we landed, Blue heading over to my area of lounging, an angered look on her face despite her cloak being up. "Red.. Stay on the ship until Yellow exits her own." I nodded and picked up her Pearl, holding mine and Blue's Pearls onto my shoulder. "Understood." Is the only response I gave, which seemed to sadden her. 'Sorry Blue, words are no longer my forte.' She exits the ship, sighing as it floats back up, calmly.

Some time passes, and I hear Blue cry out in alarm as the ship is suddenly flung down, I grit my teeth and shield the Pearls with my hands as the area right before us caved in, Yellow's ship appearing in sight after a mass of explosions go off from the inside of Blue's ship. I uncover the now safe Pearls, they both gasp at my slightly shaken appearance. I must've looked hurt. Suddenly, the ship was moved, was that Yellow?

I smirk evilly, both Pearls having scared facial expressions. It was my cue. I bust out of the ship after having put the Pearls somewhere safe, hearing an oddly annoying Gem's voice before a poofing sound. I jumped down, my heart weighing heavily in my chest. "Blue, Yellow. I'm here." I only looked at Yellow, her 'not impressed' expression staying forever on her face. I heard gasps, then looked to the Crystal Gem's, finally.

"Giant woman.." I heard a human speak, then I saw her. The Pearl I had made for Pink Diamond. She looked at me, scarred, then ran to me. "Red Diamond, I promise it isn't what it looks like!" I stopped Yellow from poofing her as I bent down and held my hand out. Her friends yelled in disagreement, but she stepped onto my palm anyway. "I made you.." I heard her friends gasp in surprise.

She looked awfully guilty, and my 'heart' hurt a pit. "I made you to serve and protect Pink Diamond!" I yelled, tears I haven't shed in a number of millennia finally falling down my face. "You have FAILED as her Pearl!" I was starting to heat up, burning her slightly. Suddenly, Yellow side-hugged me, making me cool down properly, though she didn't let go. The Pearl was safe. "I will not harm you, as you're all I have left of her.." I said softly, my old self appearing behind the walls I've tried to build.

I saw her physical ease as she opened her arms out to me, I finally saw everything she did for Pink, always comforting her, taking care of her, looking out for her. I was ashamed to be this weak in front of the enemy, but I had to. I brought her closer to my face and allowed her to hug me, finding comfort in someone else's Pearl was an odd feat.

"Red Diamond, let Pearl go!" A... Garnet? I looked down to the fusion and growled, scaring her a slight bit. "Stop! Don't do this!" Pink? I looked shocked over to the voice to find the human boy. 'Oh, it wasn't Pink.. Am I going crazy?' The boy ran near us, in front of the Garnet. "Listen to me, I'm the one you're missing. I'm Pink Diamond!" My heart stopped, was he telling the truth? "You..." Yellow let go of me and ran to the boy, a shield forming around him as Yellow stomped viciously on it.

"Steven!" The Pearl and Garnet cried out. I let the Pearl down, and she ran to the boy. What am I doing? These Crystal Gem's.. Shattered my poor Pink, I saw her shards.. I stomped on the ground as I caught fire, starting to fight them myself. 'I'll shatter you all for what you've done to Pink!'

Steven's POV (Yay new POV!)

'Oh! Everyone's fighting..' I jump to each Gem's mind-state and encourage them, even the poofed Gem's. "Hang in there Peridot, you too Lapis!" I looked up to the three Diamonds and- 'Huh?' Red Diamond was.. So far away. 'But isn't she close to Yellow and Blue Diamond?' I saw next to Red, a smaller Diamon- Mom?? Red and mom were, close? I knew someone had helped Pink Diamond get earth, a colony!

I huffed and looked to Yellow and Blue Diamond, their powers seeming to protect them too well, so I float all the way to Red. She.. Her aura was impenetrable, was her hurt far worse then Yellow and Blue's? But she looked so calm and kind! 'It was my fault, I had convinced the others to give her my colony, I knew everything she did, I knew she was the one who started the rebellion.. and yet I helped to shatter her..' Red's.. thoughts? I try my hardest to get close to her, but nothing worked. 'Then I'll have to convince Yellow and Blue first!'

I float back over to the duo, and got to Blue, which seemed a lot easier compared to Red. "Blue Diamond, please listen!" Blue gasped as I got sent flying out, looking around. "I felt something.. someone!" She kept looking for me. "It worked! I-I gotta get through to them!" I determinedly swam back into Blue's aura. "Pink isn't gone! I can explain everything if you'd just stop this fighting!" I was forced out again, dang it! "There it is again..-" "What are you jabbering about?" Yellow looked to Blue.

"A presence! It feels like.." Blue started. "Please, Blue, you're being hysterical." I tried to get to Yellow, it has to work! I touched her and tried as hard as I could not to get pushed out. "Listen! Yellow! Pinks fate was different then you think! She faked her shatterinnggg!!" I was pushed out before I could explain! They came together, obviously spooked. "This feeling! I know it!" Blue stated, "It must be a trick! Show yourself, foe!" Yellow grunted out. "I'm not your foe! Please just listen to me!"

"There!" Yellow pointed to where I floated, the two of them turning and casting their powers out at me. It was overwhelming as I yelled out, forcing me to cast out my own powers. They stopped immediately. "Please, the fighting has to stop.. We aren't enemies! We're family! Please listen to me! I need you to know, who I am!!"

"Impossible.." Blue teared up. "This aura.." Yellow stated, surprised. I landed into their outstretched hands and woke up.

Red's POV (Aha, ha.)

Blue and Yellow stopped fighting, meanwhile I got up and sat away. Nothing for me to see, I had nothing to fight for anyway..
