Ike then walked across the street. He just bought his new favorite book volume. He bet Vox will get angry at him for buying too many books. Vox did recommend Ike to just rent a book in the library, But for Ike, He find books very delightful by his side.

As Ike heard a familiar voice, He then stopped by the street, Looking on the other side to see, A long ponytail, Black and shade of red, He very much knew this person, With that hair clip… but wait. He was with a very small guy. His hair is very beautiful.

Ike couldn't lie, His purple hair and that highlight of lighter tone, It was so beautiful, They both look so good together. Ike very much knew who it was. "Vox…" Ike exclaimed quite mumbled, As he stared at the two, They were so close to each other.

Both of them look at each daringly. Ike then quickly turned his back on his way to their apartment, Their place was not so far, But Ike stopped by a small convenience store, He then grabbed a few canned beers. He then walked up to the counter.

"Ike…!? You good man??" A familiar voice could be heard, A brown ash hair looked at Ike Worryingly, His eyes were frowned, His heterochromia eyes were looking at Ike's hazel eyes, "Yeah, I'm fine." Ike softly chuckled, "Hey, Is this with Vox and that… Shoto?" Alban asked, "Shoto…?" Ike then looked at Alban confusingly.

"Oh shxt… You don't know him..?" Alban asked Ike, He then scanned the few beers that Ike placed on the table, "N-no… I haven't met that person I guess. Is it his friend..?" Ike asked, He didn't bother to ask for more information. He's not the type to dig even deeper to know who this 'Shoto'.

"Uh, Yeah, Sort of…" Alban then softly chuckled awkwardly, The wind blew outside, Lucky for Ike, He was wearing his scarf, Gifted by Vox, Dark shade of red and stripes of blue. It was autumn, Since it's october. Halloween is coming soon, So does death day.

"Here you go, Please drink water, okay? Don't drink too much… I'm worried about your health, man.." Alban pouted as he handed the bag to Ike, Ike then handed the cash to Alban on the same amount of the grocery he bought, "No worries buddy, Sure will do." Ike then chuckled as he took his leave. "Bye!!" Alban shouted, As Ike fazed at Alban, He then softly chuckled and waved goodbye as he took his leave.

Ike then hiccuped, As he groaned, His eyes were swollen, Lips were wet, Table messy, Blouse… Unbuttoned, Ike's face was flushed, He then sobbed, "I hate it…" Ike mumbled, As his phone lightened up, He then grabbed his phone, He thought it was Vox, But it was one of his friends.

Fulgur : Oh thank god you saw this hey are you okay?

Ike : Yeah I'm fine

Fulgur : You sure? Alban told me what you just bought, Won't Vox be worried?

Ike : it's none of his business so you don't have to worry

Fulgur : Okay if you say so man, Stay healthy okay? I don't want Voxxy crying into my arms but jokes aside take care of yourself, But if you need help we'll make sure me and Uki will rush to you okay?

Ike : thank you

"I'm so sorry Ike…" Fulgur exclaimed a sigh, As a grasp from his chest could be felt, "Ah, Uki." Fulgur then turned his back to Uki as he hugged him back, "What's wrong?" Uki asked Fulgur.

"Uh…" Fulgur then stared at Uki, God he wished Uki won't read his mind for once, "Voxxy… You know how Voxxy's gonna surprise Ike..?" Fulgur sighed, "Of course I do! Hehe, His using Shoto as practice." Uki then rubbed his face at Fulgur's chest, As he giggled, "Good that you didn't lie." Uki pouted, As Fulgur rubbed Uki's back, "I still remember how you proposed to me—" "Oh God please don't mention it…" Fulgur cutted Uki off, As he tried to hide his embarrassment.

"Hehe" Uki giggled, "Don't you 'Hehe' me! You read my thoughts. It was supposed to be a surprise.." Fulgur's face turned red as Uki chuckled as he teased his lover, Fuglur then looked at Uki's finger, "Where's your ring babe?" Fulgur grabbed Uki's hand, "Ah shoot! Wait, it's in the sink I think, I just washed the dishes earlier… Oh God…!" Uki then panicked as he rushed to the kitchen, Fulgur then chuckled watching his lover run. "Found it?" Fulgur peaked by the door, "Yeah, I found it." Uki exclaimed a sigh. "Okay, Good, Now why don't we watch the movie you recommended to me?" Fulgur stated, As Uki showed a mischievous grin, "Of course!~" Uki chuckled

Ike then huddled himself over to the couch, He then laid his body, Knees was against his chest, Clenching on it, As he sobbed.

"I hate you…" Ike stated as he closed his eyes, Tears flows down to his cheeks, As the door of the apartment then opened, "Ike?" A familiar voice could be heard, It was not usually quiet, Ike would always greet this person. He then searched for Ike.  Surprisingly, He saw tons of cans of beer on the table, His voice dropped deadpan, His face was also deep in shock. Ike then seated up to see Vox. Staring at him worryingly.

"Ike…?" Vox's voice then cutted off, As Ike groaned, Vox then dropped his bag as rushed towards Ike, Wiping his face gently, Ike then suddenly shed into tears, He then hugged Vox, "I hate you! I hate you! I hate you…!" Ike then kept saying those words as he punched Vox weakly, Vox then was surprised, "W-What's wrong…?" Vox asked, "Babe?" Vox asked Ike, "I hate you… it hurts, Vox…" Ike mumbled, As he tightened his grip on Vox's shirt. Vox then cupped Ike's face.

"What's wrong..?" Vox asked Ike again, "Don't you say, *Hic* 'what's wrong' me…" Ike wiped his tears, Snots were dripping into Ike's nose, Vox then wiped Ike's snots with sleeves, "Look, Whatever i might have done, Please explain. We'll talk, Okay?" Vox stated, As Ike just continued to stutter and kept crying, Vox then gazed at those cans of beers, All of them were empty, "Ike, Darling, Why did you finish all of the canned beers here." Vox asked Ike with a serious tone, "None of your business…" Ike mumbled, But Ike kept sobbing into Vox's arm, Vox then hugged Ike, "Okay, Fine, We'll talk a bit later until you stop crying baby, Okay?" Vox stated, He loves talking to Ike this way. Whenever his dear Novelist is feeling down, He then gently rubbed Ike's head, Letting the younger one sit on his lap.

He then cleaned Ike's messy face, Those ugly tears and snots, Vox hates seeing the young Novelist cry, He then comforted him for a while, It was just a quiet night, But tragic, It feels, So wrong this night, Vox's face then frowned a bit, "Could this be the end?" Vox taught to himself, He then just gazed at the Novelist just laying against his chest.

He then gently massages him, soothing his mood a bit, Before the tragic conversation starts, Vox doesn't remember a lot what did he do wrong? Was it because he always scolds Ike for buying too many books? Vox then shook his head, As the Novelist finally seated up, He then stood up with his toes on the cold floor, Without his socks or slippers with him.

Vox then pulled Ike's slender arms, "Oh boy, We are not sleeping until you tell me what's the reason for this canned beer on the table young boy." Vox stated, As Ike stared at Vox, With a deep of regrets and anger. Vox then gulped, But Ike still took the obligation to take a seat and take a deep conversion with Vox.

"Okay, What is the reason for this canned beer?" Vox then cupped Ike's face, "I promise I'll answer your questions honestly." Vox stated, Ike then glanced at the beers as he looked at Ike, His face was still a mess, His glasses were kept away, "I…" Ike then stuttered, "Where were you earlier…" Ike asked Vox, His golden eyes then widen, Why did his dear Novelist suddenly asked this question.

"I was with a friend." Vox answered. That one is true, "What were you two doing…" Ike asked Vox, Vox then started fidgeting his fingers, "We were both eating street food." Vox responded, Ike's face then frowned a bit, "That's a lie." Ike murmured, "What?" Vox asked, "You two were… Close to each other." Ike slurred, As Vox's golden eyes widened, "Look, I don't know what you are talking about, But whatever you are thinking i don't like him Ike, It's you. And always would be you—" "Vox." Ike cutted Vox off, His eyes were teary again, “You would never say that you like him Vox… That’s very unlikely for you.” Ike’s tears then rolled down through his flushed cheeks, Vox then reached for Ike’s hand as he clasped his hand together with Ike, “My dear boy, I swear…” Vox’s voice then trembled, “Ike… I swear we were just hanging out… Please… Don’t leave me…” Vox’s tone dropped, His last sentence was quieter than the first one.

Ike then raised Vox’s face to see the mere demon shedding into tears, “Please… Let me explain…” Vox sobbed into the Novelist arm, “You said I was the only one..?” Ike’s voice trembled, As Vox raised his head as he rushingly grabbed Ike’s body to himself he then hugged the young one, “No…No! You are the only one for me…!” Vox inhaled as his breathing shaked.

The two just cuddle for a while, Ike and Vox stayed quiet for a while, Hugging each other, Ike then fidget his finger, For Vox, He was gripping into Ike's body, Hugging him warmly.

“But you were…” Ike rubbed his face to Vox’s shoulder, “But you were kneeling in front of him…With that small box…” Ike stated, Vox's golden eyes then widened he then coughed suddenly, “Ike! Baby…! No…!” Vox shuddered, He then grabbed Ike’s hand and kissed his palmed hand, “Then… What was the box for…?” Ike wiped his tears as he looked at Vox.

“It’s for uh…” Vox then exclaimed a sigh, As he slurred his words, “God… My plans are ruined…” Vox chuckled as he wiped his own tears, Ike then slightly tilted his head wondering what Vox meant when his plan was ruined, “Ike Eveland I…” Vox’s voice shuddered, As he held Ike’s hand.

“Remember earlier… When i said i went to the store and gonna just… Sell my game and meet with a few friends…?" Vox slurred his words as he avoids the Novelist's gaze,"Yeah…?" Ike responded, Vox then rubbed the back of his neck, "Uhm… My game is still here actually…" Vox fidget his fingers, "What did you do at the mall then…" Ike asked Vox, As he cupped Vox's face making him look into his face, The two then stared into each others eyes for a while.

"What did you do at the mall..?" Ike asked Vox again, Vox then flipped his front hair into his back head with his hand, As he exclaimed a sigh, "Ike…" Vox held Ike's hand, "Y-you won't leave me right…? *Hic*" Ike stated as he started sobbing again, As Vox gently held Ike's face, "Baby, I won't.. I–" Vox cutted himself for a moment.

"I won't leave you, The only way I'd leave you is if you leave me first. I can't leave you, I love you too much.." Vox's face then went red flushed, "Are you blushing..?" Ike asked, "Yes I am darling." Vox stated as he chuckled softly. He then ruffled the Novelist's hair. "So don't think I'm leaving you. Because I won't ever leave you darling." Vox swore his words.

"Ike Eveland… in this.. Very cliché moment…" Vox softly laughed, As Ike sobered up a bit he then stared at Vox, "I've had thoughts about… A lot of different things.." Vox clicked his tongue, "At that very moment, When i finally found the courage to approach you it's because i was blinded by your beauty." Vox then clenched at Ike's hands again.

Ike's face then turned red, "What…?" Ike exclaimed, "I don't know how else to say it but… Ike proposing to you.. Uhm.." Vox then inhaled, "Will you spend the rest of your life with me.?" Vox asked Ike, "Of course I will, Vox, That's why we bought an apartment together…" Ike stated as Vox chuckled at the Novelist's response, "Even if you buy that many books and store it in our room… And how I would always get mad.. I'm sorry.." Vox sniffled as he chuckled, As he pulled out something out of his pockets, "Ike… Will you marry me..?" Vox asked Ike. As Ike's hazel eyes widened, "H-Huh…!?" Ike's eyes widened, Deep in shock.

Vox then waited for Ike's response, Ike then sobbed as he fell into Vox's arms, Cuddling into his lap, "Ike? Baby?" Vox then ruffled Ike's hair, "babe?" Vox called for Ike, "Yes…!" Ike shouted, As he hugged Vox, As Vox's face turned red, "I– Uh- I— What—"
Vox stuttered as Ike sat at Vox's lap, Arms wrapped around his neck.

"I— I don't know how to talk after what you said there…" Vox covered his mouth, Ike then cupped Vox's face, Pulling his hands down from his mouth as he leaned closer to kiss Vox’s lips, As he let out a grin, "I will marry you." Ike chuckled, Vox then felt a bit relieved that things are going well now. Vox then held Ike's hand, As he slid the ring into Ike's ring finger. He then kissed Ike's hand.

As he raised his head, Looking at Novelist for a while as he leaned to kiss his forehead, He then buried his face to Ike's shoulder, "God, I'm so lucky to have you…" Vox slurred his words as he chuckled, Ike then patted Vox's head, "I love you.." Ike stated, As Vox nodded, "I love you too my dear Novelist."
