Light Yagami bursts through his room door, startling Ryuk. 

 "What's the matter Light?" Ryuk says alarmed. "Why are you-" Light Cuts off Ryuk mid sentence and sits down in his chair, clutching his stomach. 

 "I think someone put poison in my food. I knew it smelled strange; but I ate it anyway!" Light half-yells at Ryuk. He pulls out the Death note from his drawer and turns on the news, itching to kill.

 Ryuk floats over to the door to put the piece of paper Light always has wedged in the door back in its place. He leans down but stops short, and gradually his nose wrinkles up as he slowly turns to face the back of Light's head.

 "Hey Light, something smells bad over here."

Light freezes in his place, his hand no longer moving to write. He slowly turns to face Ryuk, Light starts sweating profusely.

"I-it's nothing, it's probably tonight's dinner cooking downstair-"

Before Light finishes his sentence, a small air-y sound escapes from underneath him. A moment passes before Ryuk smells the same dastardly stench as before. He quickly covers his mouth and nose, tears running like water down a gutter in bad weather.

"LIGHT WHAT IS THAT? DID THAT COME OUT OF YOU? WHAT IS THAT OH MY-" Ryuk pauses, gagging a bit before continuing "CAN- CAN HUMANS MAKE THAT? OH MY-" Ryuk stops and turns to clutch the wall as he slides down to the floor, Light is petrified. 

(play sound) "Ryuk i swear! It didn't come from me, it was something else- it- IT WAS A LEAKING GAS PIPE! YES! That's what it must be! Y-you see, if it was me I would know! And humans can't even make that kind of odor so it wouldn't be possible for it to come out of me!" Light is scrambling for an explanation, eyes darting around his room. "I wouldn't lie to you Ryuk, you should trust me. For all I know it could be you!". (end sound)

 In his shame, Light gets up to leave the scene of the crime. In that moment, Light seals his fate.

Before he reached the door, where Ryuk stood repulsed, Light takes one last step to make a run for the hallway, until a grumbling suddenly sounded from his stomach, a warning bell. Light reached to clutch his gut until, right before he pushed past Ryuk, it happened. In their horror, Ryuk and Light turned to face Light's backside. His pants moved as hot gas erupted from Yagami's pants. But it wasn't over.

As the stench began to take control over the room, Light felt something bigger coming.

Ryuk fell to the floor fists clenched as he wished for death upon himself as the smell of rot floated in the air. He turned his head up from the floor to catch a glimpse of Light's face. It looked as if he had experienced the worst terror imaginable. though Light hadn't at that moment, a few seconds later and he would.

Suddenly, Light Yagami's pants felt heavy, hot, and soupy. His eyes met Ryuk's  gaze, and with Ryuk's last breath that he had been holding, he spoke, his words shook.

"Hand me my note book, i'm ending this".
